We spent a week at Marco recently and found Oscar at Wake Up Marco a few days into our stay, and it became our FAVORITE way to start the day. We love to travel and always like to try the local non-chain shops and Oscar has changed the bar for us! Top notch, 10 stars!! Conversation with Oscar was so fun and he remembers so much about each of his customers! You can be sure he has a smile on his face, and a fun story to make you chuckle! Beans are roasted and are DELICIOUS. He is so knowledgeable about his brew that you will be sure to either try something new or learn something about coffee you didn't know! Now, lets talk about his cinnamon rolls. I am a baker and don't find many cinnamon rolls i like, but wow his will not disappoint!! I've struggled to find a good latte on the island for some reason, but was happy with my order from Wake Up Marco! I got a 16 oz. Skinny blonde (sugar free vanilla) iced latte for about $6.50 before tip. The flavor of the espresso itself is unique in a good way. It was a little nuttier than I normally find, but overall good. I got my drink after a short 10 minute wait, despite there only being one worker and 5 or so people in line. The worker was friendly and quick. They have scones, muffins, and other small eats as well if you're looking for that sort of thing. I'll be back! read more

This quaint little coffee shop is located in a small strip center right off of Collier. We stopped here twice during our stay, and both times we had a great experience! The menu is pretty basic, with all the typical coffee fixings, but none of the frills. I got an espresso both times, and my girlfriend got the caramel flavored drink, one hot and one cold. Like others have mentioned, the owner runs the shop and despite being the only person working, is pretty efficient. In addition to the coffee, they have a small selection of pastries for those looking for a bite to eat with their morning cup of joe. The only downside is that seating is limited on the inside, but they also have a large round table outside. However, both times we got ours to-go and then headed outside to continue our morning walk. Would definitely recommend stopping by this place! read more

My wife and I were number 9 and 10 in line and we worried about the wait due to one person working. Next thing we knew we were at front of the line. He was cordial, professional, and very proficient. Drinks: 4.5 stars- my vanilla latte was excellent and you could tell it was fresh and high quality beans. Wife got a decaf mocha and she said it was good but not enough mocha flavoring so had to deduct .5 points. Environment: 4 stars- Average place with simple decor. Limited seating indoors and a few seats outside on covered porch. Located in a small three maybe store mini strip mall. The shop and the worker was great. The coffee, however was not very good and had a very bland and was made way too sweet. My family and I are from the west coast, and coffee is a very big deal for us, and the flavor of the coffee was not good at all.
