Finally, prior to giving me a price, they tried to make me sign a contract that said I would go through the treatment or pay a $100 fine. At this point I was frustrated, why would a commit to an "elective treatment" if I didn't even know the price?! I was so disgusted by this behavior I decided no to go through the procedure. Years later I decided to proceed with getting my veins corrected bc the hassle was worth getting rid of the pain. I called another practice-- my insurance completely covers the treatment under my copay. This place is unethical, and when I explain to my friends who are doctors, they are appalled by this behavior. Please DO NOT GO HERE.

I called to ask if I would have to pay for the third visit in addition to the first two visits and found out that I would have to pay a third time so I cancelled. Five years ago I saw another vein doctor for the same problem, made only one visit, was diagnosed that day, and paid a third of what I paid here.

My first two visits were diagnostic and then to wait for insurance approval. I received a letter that the proposed treatment was approved and yet I heard nothing from REX Vascular. I called three days and left voicemails and Jaime finally called me back. They are stretching my appointments out over 6 visits at $50 a copay. I asked and Dr. Wasan to do both legs in one visit and luckily it was possible. So don't be afraid to ask. It now seems possible I will only Need 2 to 3 visits. Probably all medical providers need to come with a warning to watch out for yourself. You gotta love the sign telling you there is a $25 charge for them to complete forms for FMLA, Disability, Life Insurance, and Nursing Home Admission. How sweet during some of the most stressful times in a person's life. Like I said it gives the impression that the patient is not the priority--it's money. If you are late--they cancel your appointment. If they are late, you sit in the waiting room Yelping. My actual procedure was noneventful not painful and I was surprisingly comfortable during the short time I spent there. I would recommend my doctor to others. My actual procedure was pleasant. I was comfortable, I am confident in the doctor and nurse and it was relatively short in duration. I would recommend my doctor to others.
