I want my physician and his staff to tell me what they know, which includes cost. Yes, it's my responsibility to ask, but it also their responsibility to tell. 2 - Not cultivating an environment of comfortable dialogue I would have liked Dr. Wessels and his staff to tell me about the procedures ahead of time - when procedures are advantageous and when they are not necessary. I understand an exam is often needed in determine prognosis. However, I would have appreciated the physician take a few extra minutes to show the patient dignity by having them sit up to share face-to-face any concerns and advice the physician may have as well as leave room for the patient to ask questions. Do NOT ask if a patient wants a procedure when he/she is in the midst of an uncomfortable and vulnerable exam. It's unprofessional and inconsiderate. The left the office feeling shame that I hadn't asked questions about cost nor advocate for a more comfortable setting, but also frustration that the physician didn't offer cost information up nor provide a comfortable environment to do so.

That was the best move I have made in 72 years. He fixed them in two trips. What a great Doctor!!! He did injections (Schlerotherapy) and one band. I had 11 bands put on in Winston-Salem and not one stayed on. Dr. Saleeby's band stayed on. If you are having trouble with hemorrhoids then Dr. Saleeby is the Doctor to see.

I was taken back to meet the doctor by a friendly, cordial nurse, and I was pleased that I was even taken back early. I met with Dr. Wessell in a conference room to discuss health history and the reason for my visit. He was both friendly and professional. He took his time understanding the issue and then invited me to the exam room to have an assessment with assistance of the nurse. He completed a through exam, while being calm and helpful to make the assessment go as easily as possible for me, helping to make the exam as relaxed as possible. He gave an easy to understand explanation of what was happening and how to best treat the difficulty. While I had some concerns that I might be overdue for a colonoscopy he explained that I was actually not due for one for another several years, which impressed me, as I know some Dr's are eager to order all the tests that one is willing to take (and more). So I appreciated his honesty and looking out for my overall good. This appointment went incredibly smoothly and I was finished and checked out almost before my arranged time! Now, I know that this can't always be the case, as schedules are different each day with different patients, but it was good to see that when timing allowed for a quick get in-get seen-get out appointment that the staff were ready to do just that. I was very impressed with the staff and their friendly and professional attitudes, from the office greeting to the doctor/surgeon himself they were all excellent. We are very pleased to rate this office 5 stars!

Dr. Saleeby was not concerned with why I had or hemorrhoids nor did he suggest how I could change my diet to PREVENT hemorrhoids - none of this was discussed... he just gave me medication. Saleeby's staff was pleasant. But his entire practice is set up as an in-and-out - you know the kind of doctor's office I'm referring to - they get patients in and out in under 20 to 25 minutes. No discussion, just "hi", "here's your medication," and "bye". This was my first visit to his practice and Dr. Saleeby offered no advice or regiment to help properly regulate my bowels While I understand that Saleeby is not a gastroenterologist or nutritionist, doctors should understand that no organ is isolated from another - they are all connected and all depend on one another to keep the body working properly. However, all Dr. Saleeby did was TREAT my hemorrhoids. Folks - you are the only person that can look out for you and keep you well. These doctors do what they do to simply make a living. No more than that. It's rare to find a doctor that is totally invested in your well being and will go the length to ensure that your body is operating properly. Save yourself the time and money NOW and continue to eat right and pay attention to your body's signals so that you do NOT have to depend on a doctor for your well-being. Because they will fail you. The only person that can best take care you, is YOU!

I'm trying to save them time for an upcoming appointment I have, because a previous office associate wasn't able to answer my question. Office manager took over the call and was rude from the start. It doesn't matter where the procedure is done to me, but I've been inquiring on whether you all do a certain procedure or not. The office manager said that you all don't do it there, but you do it in a facility. Okay I asked well would I keep the appointment with you or do I make an appointment elsewhere to go to this facility. She said who said you need that procedure and I let her know I have results from a Surgeon I saw two months back and they and another doctor both suggested it. She said well we do many procedures. Okay, but do you do the specific one im asking for as it requires special expensive equipment to my understanding and not all colorectal surgeons have that equipment. She said well if you don't like my answer, call your insurance or someone else. Then she attempted to tell me I'm very unprofessional. I asked her what am I doing that's unprofessional besides asking if you do a specific procedure when you're the one yelling at me.

If I could give zero stars I would. I saw Nidhi Malhotra from this practice on May 20th and she is…read morethe absolute worst doctor I have ever had the displeasure of working with. To begin, she was very cold and so unfriendly. She rushed me through my appointment and interrupted me multiple times while I was trying to explain different symptoms and my history. She just had an overall demeanor that she didn't care. To make matters far worse, Nidhi Malhotra knew that I had just completed a year of inpatient, residential, PHP, and IOP treatment for an eating disorder that she was informed by my PCP was SEVERE. I had not even been out of treatment a whole month when I had my appointment with her. I typically avoid getting weighed at the doctor since being made aware of my weight post eating disorder treatment for anorexia is obviously not helpful. However, I let them weigh me at Nidhi Malhotra's office because I figured they would need my weight for the upcoming colonoscopy anesthesia. I stepped on the scale backwards and asked that they not post my weight in my discharge papers due to my history. Despite knowing that I am a patient in recovery from a severe history of anorexia and confirming with me that they would not make my weight known, Nidhi Malhotra and her team completely disregarded what we talked about and posted notes to my chart with both my weight and BMI. I was aware that I had rapidly gained a lot of weight in treatment, but didn't know how much. Nidhi Malhotra noted on my chart that because of my high BMI I need to have the colonoscopy done at the hospital and that she suggests I try to maintain a healthy weight and BMI. She also wrote that I was asking for a colonoscopy, but my GI issues are likely due to "many mental health issues" which we NEVER talked about. What she wrote in my chart did not correlate with anything we actually discussed. I feel completely dismissed by this "doctor" and I relapsed with my eating disorder after seeing her notes in my chart, as she repeatedly referred to my high BMI and because of her I found out that my weight is way higher than I ever imagined. This may seem small to some, but this is highly upsetting to somebody with a long history of severe anorexia. One of my regular doctors also tried to get in touch with her after this incident and Nidhi refused to get back to her. What I found interesting is that after my appointment on May 20th I repeatedly got texts and emails to review my experience with Nidhi Malhotra. When I clicked the link to leave my review, there were two different ones - one for positive reviews that took you to Google and one for negative reviews that privately went to the office. I believe this is why there are so many positive reviews for this doctor on Google. But the negative reviews don't lie. Nidhi Malhotra is a horrible doctor and my regular doctors and I are absolutely disgusted with her. Lastly, she and her team never followed up with me about my concerns. What they did do is cancel my colonoscopy less than two weeks before it was scheduled without even calling me to discuss it. They sent me a portal message cancelling and claiming that it's because the hospital where the colonoscopy was supposed to take place doesn't take my insurance, which I know for a fact is false because I have had several procedures there. So now I am stuck with no answers to my raging GI symptoms and I'm in an eating disorder relapse after only being out of treatment for 2 months as of today. Nidhi Malhotra should not be practicing medicine and I strongly recommend that anybody looking for a GI doctor stays away.

I had the WORST experience of my life at this physician's office yesterday in Wilson, NC!…read more I had a colonoscopy scheduled for that morning. I had received a text message that morning, stating I needed to pay $400. I called the main office in Raleigh and was advised by two employees that I did NOT need to pay that money and to go on in and get the procedure done. Now everyone knows what goes into getting a colonoscopy! No eating for 2 days. That godawful drink. But I DID IT! Imagine my surprise when I get there and those rude nurses (more like CNAs) acted like freaking gatekeepers and REFUSED me service because THEY couldn't reach anyone in Raleigh and I need to pay that money in order to be seen. They continuously stated "ever since this merger they don't tell us ANYTHING, so we're going to have to call someone before you can come back." We constantly asked if we could be billed and they refuse to even answer us. Needless to say, since they couldn't reach the Raleigh office this patient who'd gone through DAYS of hunger doing this prep that I wouldn'tbe seen because they couldn't reach anyone. When the doctor called me later on that afternoon and asked me, what happened? I'm sure they'd already lied to him. So to recap, I went through hell doing that prep. We both took off work. We had to drive to and from Wilson. And we were treated like crap the entire time.
