As you can see from the photo I've attached, my teeth did not align at the center and the bottom were flared and jagged. My bite was also misaligned. After two years of wearing braces, the results made me much more confident and comfortable. Dr. Tali Elfersi and her staff are incredibly sweet and professional. I was amazed with their up-to-date technology - from 3D scanning/ printing to their in-house x-rays, it made the entire experience convenient and pleasant. I was given several options for the procedure, such as the traditional metal braces, ceramic braces, or Invisalign. I opted for the ceramic braces to avoid the appearance of having braces but with the commitment of wearing it. After removing my braces, they rescanned my teeth to 3D print the retainers. My retainers fit snuggly and it makes me feel at ease that they're made of high-quality acrylic material. I received a 3D printed copy of my teeth and can use it in the future if my retainers get lost or damaged. Again, I can't stress enough about how happy I am that they made the procedure so convenient and the attention-to-detail care they provided. I went here a few months ago to see about getting Invisalign to fix my bite, a "easily fixed alignment issue" according to my dentist. I just selected the closest orthodontist to my home and walked there. When I arrived I was met with racist prejudice treatment from this doctor. I told the doctor my dentist told me to find an orthodontist, to correct my bite. Elfersi asks me why I'd didn't go to a doctor "in my own neighborhood"--this doctor immediately assumed (because I'm Black) that I came from a different neighborhood, when I live around the corner. Then I tell her I walked from my home nearby and she gives me this look like 'yeah right.' Then she says tell her what a "perfect smile" is and I told her "I don't know about what's perfect" but I really just wanted to fix the bite like my dentist suggested and I would be more comfortable just hearing her opinion. But she would not give me advise until I told her something first about what is perfect . So I just sort of did my best to guess and then scoffs and tells me I don't understand how to straighten teeth???. It didn't make any sense. Then she gives me a quote for $9200 and when I ask her "is this a little high" she rolls her eyes and tells me she doesn't have anymore time. Then she gets up an walks away. The dental assistant hand me a paper the doctor sloppily scribbled $9200 on (no name or treatment info, just a blank form with just $9200 written in very big letters and circled) and says call us when your ready. The "consultation" was like five minutes and it was like the doctor could care less. I was getting ready to buy $10k and this doctor barely had the time of day. I call back the next day to set up a time and asked the receptionist about the price? The receptionist says " let me confirm this, it seems high for this" we'll call you back. The doctor calls me back 30 minutes later but I tell her I' was on my lunch break when I called earlier and can't really talk now. And I ask if I can call her back. She totally ignores me and starts talking over me before I can finish my sentence . Before I can say much anything she goes into this thing about how I "can't know anything about dental" and what's required, as if I'm not smart enough to understand. It was very sudden meanness coming from absolutely nowhere. It was all over-the-top personal attacks, about my "demands" are unreasonable and how I "cant't understand." What demands Is she talking about? I came in for an opinion. She kept using the word "demand" when I had zero. All from a five minute consultation where she did nearly all of the talking? I could barely get a word in. All I did was come in for some advise and what I got was very rude and abusive Dr talking down to me. I eventually told her I had to go and I actually ended up having to just hang up while she was still talking (belittling me). I was trying to tell her I was at work but she just didn't seem to care. It was a weird experience but I've seen businesses act like that before, they try to be rude to Black people for no real valid reason, just come up with something to drive us away. Be rude to us or give bad serve etc. or raise our price. The issue Elfarsi had was with my dark skin color-this is more real of a problem than people like to admit, and African Americans have to endure it almost daily. This type of direct discrimination. I went to another orthodontist in Beverly Hills the next day and she was super normal and not at all like Elfersi, and was saying things that made since, more in line with what my dentist (also in Beverly Hills) was saying. I was given a 30 minute introduction from the Dr. and her staff, it was totally different experience. She checked my teeth and gave me a quote for $4800.00. Almost half. HALF of the $9200 Elfersi was telling me I had to pay. I was prepared to pay $9200 or close to it. After the new Dr told me $4800, it was only then I told her about my experience at Elfersi and the $9200 quote. The new orthodontist said there was **NO WAY** I needed $9200 dollars worth of treatment for my minor alignment correction. I won't repeat what the new orthodontist said about Elfersi but you can use your imagination... it wasn't flattering. Both my dentist and the new orthodontist told me a price should be about 5k for my particular teeth issue. Elfersi was straight up price gauging. That's not cool. Elfersi tries to explain it away like certain people can't possibly understand because they aren't smart enough. That's not cool. I had braces before, so my teeth were not 10k dollars worth of messed up. It's really messed up that Elfersi does that, treats Blacks differently the way she does and price gauges on top of that... Fast forward. I'm nearly through my Invisalign treatment with a different very reputable experienced orthodontist and I have perfectly aligned teeth. I made the right choice by not using Elfasi. And I saved $5000 dollars . read more

I was recommended by my periodontist to straight my teeth before any gum work done. I'm over 50 years old & felt very uncomfortable going to work with Invisalign trays in my mouth! I went in kicking & screaming but today at my last appointment I can honestly say that it was the best decision I made! Dr. Elfersi is extremely smart and also very kind & nurturing. She once painted my Invisalign tray with hand so you could not see the empty space of the tooth I had extracted! I don't know how I would go to work without her know how!! The kids who come to her office love her but as an adult I was in awe!!! The fact that the office has the latest & best Xray machine & other modern facilities means everything is done under one roof. The office tells us to give feedback so this it. Me and my partner did treat for our daughter. My wife always said the doctor was rude to her and never listen to her. One day I was off work and my wife was sick so I took our daughter to the ortho. I left my daughter to use the restroom and came back to find the doctor very rudely arguing. It was very hard arguing from the Dr. accusing my daughter of breaking the cement on the braces. But that was not true because I remember it always have pieces fall out as soon as my partner brings our daughter back from this ortho office, so is just the quality of the work. It is always the way the doctor do the work. However I did not interfere and I stood far back to watch my daughter try to talk to the Dr. The Dr. Elfersi was very rush rush rush and arguing. I want my daughter to learn how to deal with different people so I just watch her handle the business. We teach her how to talk to people calmly at home. I later checked the work and the doctor then did not even mention that she was arguing with a 12 year old. In the end I just discussed the situation with my daughter in the car. So we can have a opportunity to learn about people. Our treatment was almost complete so it wasn't worth me talking to the Dr. about her demeanor. My 12 year old daughter seemed to handle her well. Our service is complete but I will not recommend this ortho business. read more

They don't answer the phone, EVER. You have to wait two days or longer for them to decide if they feel like calling you back. Once they have your money you become an after thought... "get in line, don't call us we'll call you" type of service. I switched my daughter to a different orthodontist and all problems dissapeared. Don't waste your time, theres an orthodontist on every corner in west LA. You can do better. You work too hard for your money to be treated like whatever. read more

Dr. Elfersi is such a delight. I decided to come see her for Invisalign after I was unhappy with the way my teeth had shifted 10 years after braces. My initial consultation was pleasant and informative and I decided to commit to the treatment. The office is in a nice building. I recommend using Lyft because parking around the area is tough. My visits were usually short, but they let you know if your visit will be longer than expected so you can adjust your schedule. Everyone in the office is very nice. Scheduling and payment were very easy to take care of. My treatment is almost done and my teeth are noticeably different for the better. Of course, everyone's smile is different and with Invisalign the patient has to be committed to actually wearing the trays and being honest about it. I wore them as much as I could but down the line my trays weren't quite fitting as they should(it's really hard to remember to wear your trays while you're backpacking Europe and stopping for street food every hour)... we corrected the minor for issue during the refinement period and everything worked out great! I'm extremely happy with the attention and care I received. I highly recommend her and her office for any orthodontist needs!! read more

We had such a continulously terrible experience with another orthodontist that we needed to leave his practice despite the fact that our child was almost ready to have her braces off. We were desperate to find another orthodontist who would be willing to finish someone else's work. What orthodontist would be willing to do that?? As soon as we met Dr. Elfersi, we felt so relieved and relaxed feeling like we were in excellent hands. With the previous othodontist, my child's brackets would fall off regularly depite the fact that she was very careful with the foods she would eat. With Dr. Elfersi for the first time ever, there was no issue whatsoever with brackets coming off. We could feel that there was great care, knowledge, and skill involved. Aside from the excellent work she provides, Dr. Elfersi is kind and calm. Her office is very organized and efficient.
