It was better than I thought it was going to be. I had whole wings, wifey had 2 pc white. Jr had chicken tenders. We all enjoyed our food and wifey doubled back for some of there biscuits. The biscuits are legit tho..... Certified BUSSIN

The food was good as always but this time the chicken was very hard, dry and smaller portion. They also forgot my biscuit which I was looking forward to as well. The chocolate chip cookie was delicious.

The chicken was excellent--crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. You can tell that's what they're known for. The sides, however, missed the mark for me. I tried the mac and cheese and the greens, and neither had the flavor or texture I was hoping for. I'd come back for the chicken without hesitation, but I'd probably switch up my side choices next time. The chicken alone was worth the visit. The free parking is excellent! I appreciate that so much

We love Waldo's, no matter which one we go to. The food is so good, and the service is unbeatable. This location is not a drive-through, but oh boy, is it huge. With both inside and outside seating, I bet it's awesome in the summer because they have giant TVs. We will definitely be back soon!

    SOUTHERN SANDWICH

We popped in Waldo's for lunch when we arrived in Nashville and it was a solid choice. I got the Southern Sandwich which had pimento cheese on it (something I can't pass up) but honestly, I could've done without the pimento cheese. It wasn't the best I've had. However, the chicken was breaded and fried perfectly! Not overly breaded and the chicken was so tender

So the food is always good. Can't go wrong with tenders. I think they changed their menu recently and its just a friendlier menu. More options to customize your meal. The service is always good but this time was a hoot. I was laughing with the staff and they even taught me some Spanish. So great ambiance and got to catch the Monday football game. Im always coming back to Waldos.

One of my favorite places to grab to-go when craving chicken. Love: fried chicken (seasoned very well, crispy); potato wedges (nice cut size, crispy, seasoned well); coleslaw (great flavor, crisp cabbage, juicy); banana pudding (always surprised how good this is, taste like it's prepared like old-fashioned pudding, crunchy cookies) Like: spacious dining room; validated parking; service is fine

I really love Waldo's! I think they have some of the best chicken in town. Everything is good here - the chicken tenders, the chicken PLT, the chicken scratch salad (with honey mustard!) and especially the cheddar biscuits with honey butter! The restaurant is great - you order at the counter and then can sit outside on the porch (it's dog friendly!) or inside or at the bar. They've always got tv's on with a game or two. Also a great choice for takeout too. They've got curbside parking spots out front that are clutch.

WINNER WINNER WALDO'S FRIED CHICKEN DINNER | in the city of highly competitive hot chicken, we had a light bite nearby before wanting something heartier to end the night - so fried chicken it is. And I'm always a fan of a dog friendly outdoor patio. We started off with a fun wicked weed watermelon dragonfruit burst and a frozen marg and ended with a 1/4 fried chicken dark meal. The chicken was fried to crispy perfection and the cheese biscuit and fries were the perfect complement. If you're looking for a solid meal of fried chicken and beer, Waldo's needs to be your low-key go-to.

This place is always a good idea for lunch every single time. Do yourself a favor and get the collard greens. They're not just good. They're SOUTHERN good. Delicious and flavorful! While the food is delicious, I keep coming back because the staff is always attentive, the location is clean, and I've never had to wait long for food.

Our food tour took us here and we were served hot chicken tenders....I am sorry but I stopped eating chicken tenders when I was 12 ( that was the tours fault and the review they deserved). Never the less the spice and texture of their chicken is dam good. Wish I could have had bone in chicken as it looked great. Fantastic gooey mac and cheese. Hella good muffin Great selection of suds I still much prefer Hattie B's ...yeah I know they are so commercial now but the original location is just the bee's Knees

Ohhhhhhh my this place was fantastic! Located in a strip with several other places to get food this restaurant was a definite food highlight of our trip. I ordered the large chicken strip meal with potato wedges and the macaroni and cheese I had two dipping sauces- jalapeño ranch and habanero oil. Both of the sauces were so good. The habanero oil is quite spicy as one would imagine. I only wish the ranch would have been in a bigger size. The food is seasoned and cooked perfectly. My potato wedges were the perfect mix of crispy on the outside while maintaining a softer center. The chicken here is a star! Excellent in every way. I was so happy in its flavor and overall presentation/preparation. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. The prices are reasonable for what you get. The only foreseeable issue is finding a parking spot.

Super pumped to have Waldo's Chicken & Beer in Germantown, especially with such a cool and well located and mapped out location! This particular Waldo's shares a small strip with two other food vendors, one dessert and the other Italian. It sits a block from Christie Cookies and across the way from Neighbors and First Horizon Park. So, it is a great location to grab a quick bite or a beer at before heading to a Sounds Game or to wander around Germantown! The space, as mentioned, is stellar for a Waldo's. It is fully open-air with garage style doors separating the inside and outside, which is a covered patio that features a TV and is dog friendly. While there is a bar inside, for the beer, ya know...it does not have any seats like their other locations...so no bellying up to the bar for tenders and beer here. However, you got plenty of other seating options! While parking is not plentiful, I do appreciate the small dedicated lot that features 90 minutes free. If you are not lucky enough to snag a spot right in front, there are several other paid lots nearby and quite a bit of street parking as well. Overall, solid Waldo's spot that is definitely on the rotation when the craving for tenders and beer strikes!

Chicken dredge had a nice blend of dry spices and a small amount of sweetness. Fried well (still juicy). I feel like I can take a decent amount of heat, but my happiness level was at a medium. Hot, I could kind of handle but not ideal. Damn Hot was not a fun experience anymore. I got the Comeback Sauce which didn't really help with the heat since it's a little spicy itself. My friends ordered a side of BBQ sauce that was like a creamy BBQ sauce. It tasted pretty good, but a bit of an odd combo with the wings. The sides were really good. Out of the ones I tasted, I would order them: Pimento Mac & Cheese - cheesy goodness, pasta on the softer side, but still acceptable Black Eyed Pea Salad - a nice refreshing take on beans with a good hit of vinegar. Pairs well with fried chicken Cole Slaw - a pretty standard, but solid slaw Bacon Cheddar Grits - very cheesy, a little thinner than I was expecting Hattie B's knows what they're doing and are cranking out good food. Love the food and I think it's reasonably priced.

Four fried phyllo dough rolls with chicken (wish this was 6 since the feast was for 6). The others were different dipping sauces to eat with pita bread. Everything was good but our favorites were Humus (hummus) and Alinazik. The Alinazik was creamy, smoky, with a mild taste eggplant in it. That was followed by the Haydari (yogurt with dill and mint). Wasn't quite sure what to think of Ezme which had walnuts and was tart and fruity. Definitely interesting and worth trying, but we wound up only eating about half of that one. The soups (6) - A choice between 2 - Mercimek (lentil soup) almost tasted like a split pea soup - (solid. Chicken soup tasted like cream of chicken with bigger pieces of chicken - ok. Salad was ok. It was like a house salad with a slight drizzle of creamy dressing. The dressing was purple (maybe from pomegranate). The main show was the entree. A massive mountain of saffron rice topped with various grilled meats and vegetables. My favorites were the chicken wings and the ground chicken kebabs. I didn't particularly care for the pearl onions since they were on the grill too long (burnt with acrid flavor). Dessert was 6 pieces of baklava. A pretty good version of it. Very sweet from chocolate sauce, not very crispy. The walls are covered in chicken related decor featuring chicken puns. If you like dad jokes, this will be a positive. The feast at Only Chicken is truly a feast. I love the amount of variety they're able to get with just one protein and the grill. Fun and memorable experience.
