Better than the major corporations but also better than some of the local spots like Pizza Show or Pizzaroni. We order pizza a lot and often we are ordering from Pizza Hut off their website because it is convenient. But tucked in the corner of the CVS/Northgate parking lot is this gem. I don't often frequent either store and the parking lot sucks, so I missed/forgot about this place. I saw forgot because a few years ago I remember coming here to get a slice of pizza. A slice, who does that? Not many place in LA, or on the West Coast for that matter. But sadly the pandemic ruined that slice option and recently I needed to go to CVS and get my boys lunch. Luckily for all of us I remembered this place and even though we weren't able to get the slices we wanted we got an affordable pie that satisfied the three of us. Well since then, we've order from here multiple times and when I/we want Pizza I can convince the clan if we get it from here. It's small, old school decor, needs a facelift honestly, but that won't stop me from coming in because the service has always been great and I never been treated in a negative way. First off I love finding small businesses to support! I love ordering pizza from here with some wings on a chill movie night. I have tried their beef pepperoni pizza and it's delicious. I haven't been able to eat pork for a couple years and the one think I had missed so much was pepperoni pizza. Then one day my husband ordered pizza from here with beef pepperoni, I didn't even know that existed ! I've also tried their veggie pizza and one that is zaatar and cheese. I've been told the zaatar and cheese is good in the morning with tea. It was good and the veggie was delish. The other thing that's a must try are the barbecue wings. Yum!!!!! Cooked perfectly! I wanted a really good pizza, so I search gourmet pizza for some reason this popped up and had such high ratings. I order a medium cheese pizza with chicken & olives through GrubHub for pick up, it said 30 minutes which was before closing. I wait and leave 12 minutes before close, I get there and the man meets me at the door, I pay $12 exactly and walk off, I check the pizza before I get in my car. It was fresh and hot, smelled good and looked really appetizing. The first slice tasted no different than any of these other pizza shops they have out here, the second one started getting bland, by the 3rd slice it was unpleasant even adding the Parmesan cheese that came w it, that 4th slice on my plate went in the garbage. My mom was just happy I got a medium instead of large, and said she would of preferred Digiorno, this was very misleading you guys are not a gourmet pizzeria and shouldn't be listed as such. I'm looking for high quality pizza, that uses fresh and if possible not processed ingredients. Pizza was pretty decent, and cheap. We got the Waleetos special for $17.99, which was an XL pizza with two toppings, 6 wings, and a salad. I changed the salad to an antipasto salad and added garlic bread. Came to about $24. I'm deducting a star because when I ordered I was told it would be ready in 10-15 mins, however 40 mins later I was still waiting in my pizza. No word from the staff until I got fed up and asked what the wait was for. I was told the wings weren't done. If they had of told me it would be 40 mins for wings, I would have left them out of the order. read more
