    Prime pizza El segundo
    Raul V.

Was hoping to have some butter chicken pizza after getting numerous emails and text messages. Unfortunately they were sold out by 7:45 p.m. on a Friday hopefully they figure this stuff out. Was really looking forward to it, especially after driving 30 minutes

Great pizza at Great price. Yummy vegetarian & vegan options! I was impressed with the quality & flavor.

Been to LAX literally 1000 times never had a chance to get over just a couple of blocks to try Prime pizza. So now that I've made it out here I realize how much I've been missing out on. They sell cheese and pepperoni by the slice also a few other veggie options. Other than that everything else is sold as a whole pie they also have a gluten-free option.. Very reasonably priced at four or five bucks a slice the pizza is excellent. Undercarriage was perfect. Take a look at the pictures no drooping, taste, cheese, dough all spot on. Definitely be coming here much much more regularly.

After seeing a video about Prime Pizza, I decided to check out their El Segundo location. This location is in a small plaza with its own parking area, and the inside is really cool, modern, clean, and a great neighborhood pizza vibe. Service was good too. I ordered two slices to go, one cheese and one vodka sauce. Both were really good. The crust was crispy with a nice amount of char, and the sauce was well balanced, not overpowering or overly sauced. The vodka slice especially stood out. Overall, this is easily one of the better pizza spots locally, and I'd definitely recommend it.

Finally got to try Prime Pizza recently and was very impressed! It's probably one of the best if not the best in the South Bay. The crust really reminded us of pizza in New York. It's a pretty casual atmosphere. It seems like many locals come to get takeout pizzas. It was relatively easy and fast for us to order slices and eat there on a Sunday night. I particularly liked the bbq chicken slice and garlic knots. Will definitely be back.

Ordered late night delivery while staying at a hotel in the area. Pizza was made and delivered promptly, still piping hot. Requested utensils/pepper packets/napkins/plates were neatly packed in an additional bag as well. Portion was much larger than expected and slices were big and wide. The order was a pepperoni pie and the thin crust was delightfully crispy and the cheese + toppings were more than savored. I look forward to dropping into another location for another bite whenever I'm nearby one again.

gluten free deep dish? YUM! i took it to-go to enjoy the sunset on the beach & wasn't disappointed. the homemade ranch was also DELISH.

I love a good slice of pizza and was happy come across prime pizza. There is a huge parking lot which is always a plus for the LA area. They sell lots of types of individual slices, salads, pastas, wings, sub sandwiches, full pizzas, gluten free pizzas, meatballs, garlic knots and cookies. The food comes out fast and there is a good amount of tables. You order at the counter then pick your seat. One nice thing is you don't have to choose between thin and thick crust pizza, they have both here even by the slice. I had the spicy pepperoni and the vodka pizza which were both good and made me wish I had seen the spicy ranch sauce earlier because I think that would have been a fun addition. The music isn't too loud so it's comfortable to sit in the restaurant or even in their outdoor area to enjoy your food. Overall I enjoyed prime pizza.

Came by this spot after golfing at TopGolf and was recommended by a friend. The lot is small, and they have good amount of indoor and outdoor seating with picnic tables. A lot of people grab takeout casually here as well. You order at the counter, and they give you a number if it's for here. White Sauce: Not bad, there could've been more flavor profiles here but it was a standard creamy white sauce pizza Spicy Pep: this was the highlight of the evening, the pizza actually had a little kick to it, and many of my friends thought it was too spicy. As a spice lover, I thought it could've been even spicier. Love the dough and flavors. Only thing is it got way too oily near the end.

Fast growing local pizza chain with a great reputation. I really like their square pizzas and their "veggie" pepperoni options. Grandma, Sicilian -- great! The spicy pizzas are great! Vegan spicy pepperoni, Arrabbiata... all fantastic! I do like the White round pizza too. Basically, it's all good Pretty decent lunch specials from 11am-4pm everyday. I just wish their awesome dipping sauces came included with the pizza! :-) Highly recommended!

The advertising for this place is great. The service is above average and the pizza is subpar. Pizza: I ordered the supreme pizza which had black olives, sausage, red onion, pepperoni and cheese on it. It's a large pizza with minimal toppings on it. For almost $40 (Tip included), this should have had twice as much toppings for the size and price of the pizza. The flavor of their supreme pizza was missing the point of what you expect a pizza to taste like. This was just bread, some tomato sauce with a little bit of cheese and toppings that were MIA. Disappointing. I can say I wont be coming back here.

I've been on a bit of a a pizza kick after the holidays, so I had to return to one of my favorites. The service was fast and the pizza was ready on time, the ambiance and atmosphere is always great, but we took the pizza to-go. This time we had a whole Sicilian pizza and a whole vodka pizza, it was really a toss-up between them because they're both so great. If you like a square pie, I definitely recommend this Sicilian. However, if you like a great NY style circular pizza or vodka sauce, then I would recommend that one instead. One thing's for sure, you can't go wrong with either. Also, they really have the best ranch, always get their ranch!

The food itself was decent -- the pizza was good, and the chicken-broccoli alfredo had nice flavor, though I do wish the toppings were a bit fuller, but I understand that's their set policy. The team working the floor was genuinely kind. They greeted us with smiles, kept the dining area clean, and offered great customer service. Up until the owners arrived, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Once the owners came in, the energy shifted. They didn't acknowledge guests -- not even a simple hello or smile. Instead, there were blank stares that made the environment feel uncomfortable. I also overheard a private conversation between them and an employee right by the front counter, which really should've been handled in the back for everyone's comfort. Overall, the staff was lovely and the food was fine, but the presence and demeanor of the owners took away from the experience. I wish them well, but I don't think I'd return.

This was one of the best pizza-related choices I've made in Southern California. Parking is a little tough...I ended up parking a few blocks away on a main street, which was fine, but didn't notice there was a public parking structure available closer behind a building across the street. The place was crowded and lively on the early Saturday evening I was there. That's a great sign...I was just getting a slice to go, but overheard the host telling people it would only be 10-15 minutes for a table. I had a classic cheese slice. (My litmus test for NY pizza at a new location.) It was FANTASTIC. Easily among the very best crusts I've had on the west coast...super thin and crispy...exactly as it should be. The balance of sauce and cheese was also perfect. Too many pie shops seem to treat sauce as an afterthought...too thin a layer, almost not tastable. But not here...it was perfect...the right amount of everything. There are other really delectable looking pizza options, even for vegetarians like me, including a fascinating "Cacio E Pepe" and a Margherita. (I also saw one which looked all sauce like a tomato pie, which looked really good. (Plus other options like Fried Brussels Sprouts or Fried Cauliflower...cheese bread, and salads. The beer menu, as one would expect with "pint" in the name, is extensive with lots on tap and "guest" brewery selections. Lots of wines to choose from as well. This last visit has reversed everything I didn't like about the changes and it literally has returned to its previous glory. Food was absolutely amazing this run! I came with my wife and mom (her first visit) and we ordered so much. Food: Braised Short Rib Marsala - The meat melts in your mouth. There's no way to describe how tender is and how easy it is to pull a piece away with your fork one handed. The polenta and mushrooms the ribs sit on have a super inviting taste. My wife doesn't like truffle sauces and that be the only thing I would switch out. Other than that the vegetables were still crispy but easy to chew. Perfect dish all around. Wild Shrimp Scampi is a must order for me. The shrimps are jumbo sized with a mix of flavors that's been improved since a few months ago. I noticed that there were plenty of tables empty inside and decided to ask the hostess if my table is ready yet. Right away she realized it was ready and asked someone to walk me in. Everything took forever to come out. We didn't eat until at least 45mjn i after ordering... * Heirloom tomato: basic, it was ok. Nothing to write home about * Black Mediterranean mussels: best dish of the night. Mussels were plump and juicy. Broth was very flavorful * bolognese pasta: lukewarm, tasted like it's been sitting out for awhile. portion size was smaller than other places. Some of the noodles were clumped together and undercooked * Braised Short Rib Marsala: it was sooo salty. The sweet peas were old and fibrous. I had to spit out. It was honest such a disappointing experience. I have loved all other North Italia locations I've dined at but this one was the worst. Service and kitchen is extremely slow. The crust tasted really fresh and had a nice softness. I also ordered a slice of their Chicago style, and think that this is where this place really stands out. This is not just thick fluffy crust that is being called Chicago crust -- here it's real Chicago crust which is more cakey, bready, buttery than what other places usually claim is Chicago crust. They put the toppings on the bottom and then the sauce, just like you're at Lou Malnati's or another Chicago place. I love that they sell it by the slice(!) for their flavor of the day. There's a real chew here--a springy, structured bite that gives just enough resistance before yielding. It's deeply satisfying and makes every dish feel more intentional. The cappelloni shows it off best: that almost-famous sauce wraps around each piece, but the pasta holds its own, so you get that perfect balance of silky and structured. Same with the tangiello--the meat sauce tastes like it's been simmering for days, rich and layered, but the noodles never get lost because that chew carries through. The Caesar isn't an afterthought either. It's got a subtle spicy kick that wakes everything up, and if you add chicken, it's done right--well-seasoned, nicely grilled, juicy with a bit of char. It turns a classic into something you actually remember. Dinner is where things go a little heartier, and the pork chop delivers. Fall-off-the-bone tender, but still full of flavor--not just soft for the sake of it. Jame just gets the fundamentals right, then pushes a little further. Thoughtful, textured, and the kind of place where even the chew of the pasta becomes part of the experience.

It is always a pleasure to dine in downtown in El Segundo and I was excited to finally check out…read moreJame Enoteca, which is located right at the heart of area. I was impressed with the clean and modern look of Jane Enoteca from the moment I walked in. Their dishes consist of several handmade pastas, salads and Italian inspired comfort food. My friend and I chose to start our meals with the Meatballs and Brussels Sprouts. Being a Brussels Sprouts fan, I really enjoyed their roasted crispy Brussels sprouts that were tossed in schiaffoni dressing and finished with sesame. Equal in deliciousness were their Meatballs. The Meatballs were tender, rich and saucy. These starters were a great way to kick off our meal here. For our mains, we got their Paccheri Lisci and Tonnarelli. The Paccheri Lisci had a bit of a spicy kick to it. It has spicy pork sausage sugo, fennel, sage and pecorino. It was meaty and flavorful. The Tonnarelli or Cacio e Pepe contrasted nicely with the Paccheri Lisci. This pasta dish was simple, sharp and peppery. This was more bold versus saucy. Last but not least we had some cookies for dessert. I loved the fresh baked snickerdoodle and chocolate chip cookies. It was a sweet and perfect ending to the meal here. Overall, I really enjoyed dining at Jame Enoteca. I am now looking forward to trying out their sister restaurant Jame Taqueria down the street.
