    Pepperoni slice (perfectly crispy)

I love their lunch specials! Two slices of pepperoni pizza, a soda, and a salad for under $10. Slices are large,so I'm full off of one slice and I save the other for later. Workers are nice and work hard in that small kitchen. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's plenty of tables outdoors and parking in the back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Overall, I had a great experience. The wait was a bit longer than expected at about 26 minutes, but it was worth it. The pizza was still piping hot when I got home, which is always a big plus. The sauce was pretty standard--nothing particularly standout--but the toppings were excellent. It was colorful, fresh-looking, and exactly what I'd hope for from a supreme pizza. The crust was really good too, with just a slight flop, which is understandable given how loaded it was. Definitely a solid pizza overall. As a local in the Gardena/Hawthorne area this is a must try pizza spot.

Gigi's Pizza is a weekend go-to in our house. If you're in the Gardena area, definitely check out this local spot. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the food never disappoints. Besides pizza, they've got salads, wings, and torpedoes (sandwiches). Whether you're grabbing a full pie or just a slice, it's always a good choice.

One thing about Gigi's Pizza it always hits! The pizza is always fresh and delicious. Everybody that works is nice & friendly.

    Sicilian pepperoni. Highly recommend

It's been a long time since I came to Gigi's. It will always be Bonello's to me. Got a craving for a Sicilian style pizza and it definitely hit the spot. Nice and crispy crunch with also the right amount of chewiness. It's hard to find a good Sicilian style in the South Bay and I've looked and tried almost everywhere. Thanks Sylvester for doing a great job all these years!

    beautiful pepperoni pizza

I recently visited Gigi's Pizza (Formerly Benello's) on Crenshaw Blvd across from El Camino College. Although I grew up in the area, I rarely stopped in there. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizza. It had good meats...adequate amount of cheese and sauce and although we ordered to go the Pizza was plenty hot when we arrived back at my shop to eat! It was really quite good and I know for sure we'll be back.

The saddest meatball sandwich I've ever seen.

Saddest meatball sandwich. Barely enough meatball to cover half this bread... Pepperoni pizza on the other hand was fantastic.

Sicilian Thick Crust Pizza with sausage.

The Sicilian Thick Crust pizza here is amazing. I ordered it with sausage. My family thought it tasted great too. The crust had a nice favor and crunch to it sauce and cheese tasted great too. I usually order the thin crust NY pizza but I really liked the thick crust even better. This place has the best pizza and workers are always so nice!

They let me down again. I called in an order for 1large eggplant sandwich, 1 large Italian Hero, 1slice of mushroom pizza, and 1 antipasto salad. My wife went to pick it up and asked me why it was so expensive. They told her I had ordered extra meat when I never did. I called to ask what the deal was and they did apologized and said they would refund the $4 charge for the extra meat but it's just annoying having to do this in the first place. It just doesn't motivate me to purchase food there as much as I used to never knowing what's going to happen next.

The best NY Style pizza around. Thin crust, flavorful sauce, just enough mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni. For less than $22!

Does anyone remember that the building that Gigi's is in was originally an orange julius place? That was probably 50+ years ago.

Yes!! Actually, I was barely born when it was first built in 1964, but I know that it was in business until 1968. It was then that it became Perry's Pizza. Perry's became Perry and Terry's Pizza, which lasted just a couple more years. In 1983 it… Read more

The guy at the counter was friendly and welcoming, and even delivered our sandwiches to us as we sat outside at one of the shaded tables - it was pleasant if you need a spot to eat versus taking it to go. One thing I really like on a sando is shredduce. It just makes a sandwich taste better. Not sure why. Ghost got it right. It wasn't busy shortly after opening on a Sunday, which was nice. I really enjoyed both the sandwich and the visit. We'll definitely be back. 5 stars.

It was delicious and the Dutch crunch bread was a good amount of crunch without being too hard that would rip open the roof of your mouth. I love the vegetable mix with it that included roasted peppers, pepperoncini but the Melrose spread was a tad bit much where it just oozed off the sandwich paper wrap. The sauce was good but a tad bit excessive. The staff was very nice but the food took longer than expected. Maybe that's because of them making it fresh but it seemed a tad bit longer than I expected for a non busy time I went (11am). Atmosphere is just your "fast" casual with outdoor seating which be nice when it doesn't become too cold or hot weather wise.

She argued with me and yelled at me, and got the chef to argue and yell at me, insisting the hash browns were indeed in the omelette. I continued to yell back at them, explaining that there were absolutely no hash browns in my omelette and I want a refund for the hash browns immediately.
