Overall, I had a great experience. The wait was a bit longer than expected at about 26 minutes, but it was worth it. The pizza was still piping hot when I got home, which is always a big plus. The sauce was pretty standard--nothing particularly standout--but the toppings were excellent. It was colorful, fresh-looking, and exactly what I'd hope for from a supreme pizza. The crust was really good too, with just a slight flop, which is understandable given how loaded it was. Definitely a solid pizza overall. As a local in the Gardena/Hawthorne area this is a must try pizza spot.

Gigi's Pizza is a weekend go-to in our house. If you're in the Gardena area, definitely check out this local spot. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the food never disappoints. Besides pizza, they've got salads, wings, and torpedoes (sandwiches). Whether you're grabbing a full pie or just a slice, it's always a good choice.

It's been a long time since I came to Gigi's. It will always be Bonello's to me. Got a craving for a Sicilian style pizza and it definitely hit the spot. Nice and crispy crunch with also the right amount of chewiness. It's hard to find a good Sicilian style in the South Bay and I've looked and tried almost everywhere. Thanks Sylvester for doing a great job all these years!

I recently visited Gigi's Pizza (Formerly Benello's) on Crenshaw Blvd across from El Camino College. Although I grew up in the area, I rarely stopped in there. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizza. It had good meats...adequate amount of cheese and sauce and although we ordered to go the Pizza was plenty hot when we arrived back at my shop to eat! It was really quite good and I know for sure we'll be back.

The saddest meatball sandwich I've ever seen.

Saddest meatball sandwich. Barely enough meatball to cover half this bread... Pepperoni pizza on the other hand was fantastic.

Sicilian Thick Crust Pizza with sausage.

The Sicilian Thick Crust pizza here is amazing. I ordered it with sausage. My family thought it tasted great too. The crust had a nice favor and crunch to it sauce and cheese tasted great too. I usually order the thin crust NY pizza but I really liked the thick crust even better. This place has the best pizza and workers are always so nice!

They let me down again. I called in an order for 1large eggplant sandwich, 1 large Italian Hero, 1slice of mushroom pizza, and 1 antipasto salad. My wife went to pick it up and asked me why it was so expensive. They told her I had ordered extra meat when I never did. I called to ask what the deal was and they did apologized and said they would refund the $4 charge for the extra meat but it's just annoying having to do this in the first place. It just doesn't motivate me to purchase food there as much as I used to never knowing what's going to happen next.

The best NY Style pizza around. Thin crust, flavorful sauce, just enough mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni. For less than $22!

Got a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza and a house salad. The crust was crispy. The sauce was a little tart. The house salad was simple. The ranch dressing was a little sweet.

My wings were undercooked and the pizza had no flavor. They need to work on their sauce, I will never order from this place again.

Best pizza in South Bay! Closest pizza to NYC pizza you can get, hands down. I always make it a point to stop by when I'm in town :)

Does anyone remember that the building that Gigi's is in was originally an orange julius place? That was probably 50+ years ago.

Yes!! Actually, I was barely born when it was first built in 1964, but I know that it was in business until 1968. It was then that it became Perry's Pizza. Perry's became Perry and Terry's Pizza, which lasted just a couple more years. In 1983 it… Read more

Very chill atmosphere. A small restaurant appeared to be clean and organized while I was there. A few folks sitting inside. A door dasher came in and received some good service while placing my order ok the kiosk. The self- service kiosks are very easy to use. No problems at all. My order came out in an about 10 mins. In the meantime, I took photos and recorded footage to post online. Sat down at the bar and a server handed me my coffee like a min or so later. I just ordered a regular house coffee with oat milk. No complaints. Will purchase again. Price point is exceptional especially with the size that's given. No extra charge for adding milk either. Then about several mins later the same young lady handed me my order. So I took two bites while there and man !!! Them damn eggs are everything the reviews have been saying. They were soft and fluffy. Wasn't overcooked either. Bacon was nice and crunchy. Wasn't burnt or overcooked to crisp if you know what I mean lol. Perfect type of cheese to compliment the bread and bacon and eggs it was between. The way that cheese melts in n everything smh. And the bread !!! Genius idea. Reminds me of French toast. The perfect combination. However, I was disappointed by the portion size of the tater tots but I'm not complaining. It's a nice spot. I like the service. The coffee was good and the food was great. Will return again.

But the restaurant is pretty Americanized and feels welcome and modern. I also ordered a Strawberry Matcha drink. It was pretty good! For example, some spots offer discounted bánh mì if you purchase an iced coffee. On my last visit, I was disappointed to find out they no longer serve the baked ham & cheese croissant. Honestly, that croissant was the main reason I came here, since the other Lee's near me doesn't carry it. I ended up getting a pork pate chaud. It was flaky and tasty, and the pork filling was juicy. I also bought my boyfriend a combination bánh mì and was shocked to see it's now $10.29. I understand inflation and all, but sheesh--that price for a bánh mì feels a bit much, even in today's economy. I also got a Vietnamese iced coffee, which I really like here. It's creamy and very strong. I just don't like that they put so much ice.
