Ashley helped me to use a coupon that saved me $159 but had to pull a lot of strings in order to get it. I really appreciated her taking on that challenge and sticking with it until it was done..... The staff at Walgreens [Bastrop - Hasler] never stop working from the moment they arrive, until they leave. I can't imagine working and being on my feet for that long. Many times, if not all the times, they are under staffed. And they deal with sick people who don't feel good in the first place. How bout cutting them some slack? How bout WE, the customer initiate the first smile or pleasant conversation. And helpful hint......They are open from 7:00 am to midnight, How bout picking up your prescriptions when you know there won't be any lines? Staffing issues [and this younger generation's attitude and work ethic] has absolutely affected customer service. But your concerns are valid, and I do hear and feel your frustrations. read more

Each time I go to this Walgreens the employees at the front register and the ones walking around are incredibly rude and condesending. And that is on the rare occasions that they acknowledge your presence. Today, they have sent me right back to online shoppin. God awful. Had a canvas made and got a call and text saying it was ready. Got there and "Dotti" said she couldn't frame it because all the frames on the shelf where spoken for. Her and the manager then proceeded to get snippy with me. Told me to take it to another location to have it framed and handed me the limp canvas. read more

I would give no stars if I could. I just started using this pharmacy and was disgusted today. Walgreen's should be about health and safety but they have someone working with prescriptions with their hands looking this way. Maybe she works hard at something else but a good scrub would resolve it. She had blue hair and looked like she just finished yard work and came straight to work. If I could leave 0 stars I would. When I went to the pharmacy, the technician was having issues with my insurance. It was then closing time by the time she had tried to enter everything (multiple times) & she told me she could no longer figure it out bc they were closed even though she had already been dealing with me...... I didn't know you stop dealing with a customer mid transaction bc you closed. I would not recommend using this Walgreens pharmacy. read more

Got our Flu Shots here & the wait was super looong! Even with an appointment set. It wasn't anyones fault, these ladies were working their tails off. My husband and I are both trying to reach the pharmacy on separate phones. Been trying for over a half hour now. This isn't the first time this has happened. It is a regular occurrence. Once she finally picked up just to tell me to old I could hear her talking and laughing as I waited. The she says o! I'm sorry but can you please hang up and call right back and I will pick up right away. I called back and surprise! She never answered. I finally gave up. I think different pharmacists make the difference. When there is a man that answers I don't have to wait but whoever the female is at that store is very unprofessional. For prescriptions, don't bother with Express Pickup. You still have to stand in line with everyone else. What is the point of requesting payment in advance and having the Express Pickup sign at the counter if it makes no difference. The staff at the counter said it doesn't matter so just stand in line. read more

The pharmacy is terrible. Ever since Covid they are too busy to call your insurance company which is their job, and they want every single person to call their insurance to verify that the prescriptions are covered. While calling the insurance company at the counter, he asked "why are you calling me and why isn't the pharmacist calling me? It's a three minute phone call." The pharmacist literally told my husband that he was too busy to call it in so we could either pay full price for my three prescriptions or wait until he's not so busy to call it in. Mind you my prescriptions went in at 9 AM and it is now 6:17 PM. It is absolutely ridiculous. They are rude and lazy, and they don't care. read more

This is one of the worst pharmacies I've been to. The pharmacy is slow and the people are grumpy. I went to the window to ask a simple question yesterday and got a "don't bother me attitude" from both the clerk and the pharmacist next to her. Last time I filled a prescription there, I had to wait in line for 30 minutes and there were only 2 people in front me of me. I'm going to transfer my prescriptions to HEB Pharmacy. read more

Someone needs to evaluate the quality of the drive through. There are two lanes and one register. Let's review my most recent experience for example: I pull up in left lane(lane A), alone in car. Unclear why, but cashier tells me to hold while he tends to.person who pulled in after me in lane B with a passenger in the car. He is picking up his meds, the passenger's meds and a 3rd persons meds. I sit there as he gathers them all, some of which apparently weren't even called in. Guy comes to me. Asks me my name.gets my meds. Give him my card and I'm off. Why did I, when I pulled up first, wait foe guy in Lane B (who in my opinion should have walked in to the pharmacy and has no business at the drive through in the first place), wait so long? read more

IF YOU HAVE SOMEWHERE TO BE, DONT GO HERE! I'm just really confused what's going on inside this store. Got here at 2 o'clock to take a Covid test and didn't pull out of the drive through until I kid you not, 2:50. Took the pharmacy tech well over 10 minutes just to administer my test to me that took me less than a minute to swab my nose with. Kind of hysterical if you ask me, especially the two men in vehicles behind me. At one point this old man was revving his engine and blowing smoke out of his exhaust. He proceeds to pull off and then next guy behind me starts yelling out his window as soon as I get to the window. Not sure why it took 40 minutes when I was only 3 cars behind the first person in line when I pulled up? It seemed the pharm tech was grumpy, probably because people are rude to her all day for waiting an hour. Not saying it's her fault but man y'all should maybe look into hiring because I didn't see one "hiring now" sign while in that line. read more

I moved out here from Austin 3 years ago. I've been a Walgreens customer for over 30 years. I've been to this Walgreens 2 times in the 3 years both times it was to visit the pharmacy. This will be my last visit to Walgreens. The ppl that work in the pharmacy ARE RUDE. They treat customers as an interupption of the business instead of a valued part. I drove up this morning not knowing they opened at 9. I hit the call button he answered we open at 9. I hit it again to ask a question only because I wasn't sure if they could help me at the drive thru and didn't want to wait 30 minutes only to be told to come inside. Did I mention I'm only here because they charged me for something they shouldn't have and called me to return for a refund? I am only giving a one star because you can't leave zero. I will no longer be using the 504 Hwy 71 Bastrop location. I went through the drive through to pick up my meds. I was in the first lane. I went through the entire routine. Give my DOB, my address and sent my DL and credit card through the window. Everything is verified and the pharmacist gives me a quick consult on my medication. He walks off and all the sudden there is a sign in the window stated that they are closed for lunch. They have my drivers license and credit card!!! I press the service button and before I can speak , I am told that they are closed for lunch and she hangs up. I do this 2 more times because I am hung up on again and again before I can say a word. They just closed up in the middle of my transaction and kept my cards and no meds. Finally I interrupt her before she tells me that they are closed for lunch again to tell her that they have my ID and credit card and that they just closed up in the middle of my transaction. She knows I'm furious. She wasn't the same woman that was checking me out. She apologized and said she was as mad as I was and gave me my meds and cards back. What an awful experience. Be careful picking up your prescriptions around lunch time because they don't care about you. read more

Came to this location for passport photos and the service was terrible. When I asked to have photos the lady behind the counter acted as if l was completely putting her out by coming there and needing passport photos. Once I got her to agree to take the photos, she asked me when I wanted to pick them up. I asked how soon I could pick them up and she said, "well they can be ready in 10 minutes but I'm real busy and have other stuff I need to do." I was angry at this point and said that I wanted to wait for them. Then, while waiting, I overheard her talking crap about me to her co-worker because I wanted to wait for my photos. This walgreens has gotten HORRIBLE with their pharmacy! Over the past two months they have not filled the right medications and I have a medication on my refill list that is NOT mine! I am NOT a diabetic! This is not only happening to me, but my partner as well. Their customer service is horrible as well. This is the second time i have used this pharmacy and should have learned my lesson the first time. My doctor faxed my prescription an hour and a half before I went to pick it up and said give them 45 mins to an hour. Two hours later when they "checked" on it the lady told me 5 more mins, just like she told the four people in front of me. I would like to add my prescription was for eyedrops...no mixing, counting pills, or anything that I thought was difficult. Five minutes turned into 30. A couple of days ago I was passing by the photo shop and so surprised that one of the employees was raising her voice at someone who looked like a manager. I looked straight at him but he didn't say anything. Apparently he asked her to do something and she was complaining that it was his fault for not coming back. A lady behind me mentioned it at checkout so I wasn't the only one to heat it. There are plenty of people who would appreciate that job to put up with that kind of behavior. read more

I went through the pharmacy drive through to pick up 2 prescriptions which I had dropped off earlier in the day. I was informed they weren't ready and that I would have to wait 30 min, which then turned into 45 only to be told that they were out of one of the medicines but I could pick it up at the Tahitian location but I would have to hurry since they closed in 10 min. I asked if she could ask them to wait and she actually rolled her eyes at me. She and the other girl working in the pharmacy continued to talk and look at me several times and again rolled their eyes. My husband had just been discharged from the hospital and had to have this medicine so I held my tongue and went on my way but I will think twice before I go back to this location. I would like to add that the Pharmacist at the Tahitian location did wait for me to get there and was more than nice enough to make up for the poor attitude of the two employees at the Hasler location. read more
