I had a disappointing experience at C&J Beauty Supply that I feel obligated to share. While the…read morestaff was kind and extremely helpful in assisting me with finding clip-ins that matched my natural hair texture, the owner's behavior was unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. I selected two packs of clip-ins priced at $80 each and, as a licensed cosmetologist, I kindly asked if he could extend the professional discount. Instead of handling the request with courtesy, he abruptly demanded to see my license. I didn't have the physical copy on me, but I showed him my driver's license and pulled up my valid license directly from the official New Jersey State Board of Cosmetology website. Still annoyed, he barked again, insisting on seeing my shop license instead. At that point, I left the merchandise on the counter and walked out. It was an $18 discount--on what I'm sure was a heavily marked-up item--and rather than valuing a repeat customer and licensed professional, he chose to be dismissive and difficult. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend C&J Beauty Supply to other professionals who expect basic respect and appreciation for their business. The staff deserves better leadership, and so do the customers.

I started using Walgreen's when they were on the list of pharmacies on the Health Plan I was…read moreenrolled in. We had been using CVS forever so I wasn't thrilled to switch places. My fears were unfounded. What I like most about Walgreen's is that 'bundle' my prescriptions so I don't have to return to the store over and over. I can't tell you how many times I would pick up our prescriptions from CVS only to get home and find a message that there was more medication ready to be picked up. And I love that there is a Drive-Thru which is great if you don't need anything else inside the store. They are also in a good location and parking is always plentiful. They pretty much carry everything the other chains carry (drinks, snacks, cosmetics, cards, personal care) and they are usually up to date on their stock. The staff is nice but I think the Parmacists and their workers are exceptionally good.
