I have never been so disappointed at a store like this in my life. I dropped off a very important package that was supposed to be overnight shipped on Thursday morning. I kept tracking it, and it was still at Walgreens. I told myself maybe there was a mistake. I showed up at the door on Sunday, and the package was where they left it when I dropped it off. I asked them why it was not picked up, and they did not have an answer for me. They just handed me the package back, and I left with no apology. I need a cold medicine that you can only buy at the counter even though its not an Rx drug. I was sick and didn't want to go inside and spread germs. I went to the drive through and waited quite some time only to be told that they won't sell me that med unless i come inside. I ask why since its only bought behind the counter, she rudely told me that's the rules!!! They have the poorest customer skills i have ever delt with. I ask to speak to someone InCharge, but I was told the manager was busy. I have used this Rx for years and it's always been iffy but is much worse lately. I guess they don't need the business. The pharmacist is rude, a liar and I will be calling the Texas board of pharmacists to report her. As many people are stating in here, the attitude of the pharmacy is extremely rude, uncaring, and they get dates wrong about your medication all of the time. I have used this pharmacy twice now and they cannot get the date straight on when I can pick up my pills. The first time I showed up after they told me I could pick up my pills then told me I could not, and had to come back the next day This time I called and was given a date and wrote it on a piece of paper and I knew that was wrong because that was past the 30 days prescription I had so I called my doctor. He said that was wrong so I called the pharmacist back and spoke with her, and she claimed she never said that date and would not admit until I pressed her that she may have made a mistake. Instead, she was extremely rude and made sure to tell me that she could do anything she wanted, including not fill my prescriptions and that she had the right to make clinical decisions over my healthcare. Yes she actually said this and I wrote it word for word on a piece of paper as she was saying it . For the sake of your health, please stay away from this Walgreens. I will be filing a suit, and I will be starting an investigation of her to have her pharmacist license revoked. I have alerted the general manager of the Walgreens of what has happened and he is very professional and caring. I am hoping that he gets this person removed from her position because she has no right to dispense medications to people with the attitude she has. read more

Wife and I had appointment at this Walgreens to get our 2nd covid19 vaccination. Went to the counter to check in. (A specific register). Waited for 30 minutes and was not even acknowledged we were there. I was furious!! Approached the technician after the line had and told them we've been waiting and haven't been acknowledged, the response was "we're not manning that register and we have one line to wait ".. Would've been nice to have any one of the techs behind the pharmacy counter at least say something instead of continuing to ignore us. And the excuses, poor 18 yr old was left to deal with us. Walgreens on Main Street in Boerne, TX filled my prescriptions incorrectly. I didn't notice until I got home. I went back and explained the situation and the pharmacist saw that they were filled incorrectly but said she couldn't take the prescriptions back because I accepted the medication and paid for it and took them home. This is besides the fact that I didn't open the prescriptions. It was my first time at Walgreens. The pharmacist's name was Privia and she could not have cared less. I explained she was the was the professional and that if I had gone home and taken the wrong medicine and had an adverse affect, I didn't think a jury would fault me for not checking that the prescription was filled correctly. This young woman in her mid to late 20s (hard to tell as she was wearing a mask) has chosen a field where a caring personality is crucial and she has the personality of rattlesnake. I did call 800-Walgreens and Walgreens is working to fix this mistake. I have to give credit for that. read more

Once again, I drove to the Boerne Walgreen's only to find the pharmacy closed. Adding insult to injury, there was a white station wagon in the drive through lane. So two other cars and I waited in 90 plus degree heat until we all realized that the pharmacy was closed. Been coming to this pharmacy for the last year, it is the most consistently slow Walgreens I've ever used, the techs are always extreme slow, confused looking and rude, if there are two cars in the drive through expect to wait 45 minutes to an hour, and if there are more than 3 cars just come back another day because you aren't getting your meds any time soon. Dr called in prescription at 3:30pm, I called at 5:00pm to check status, they said "Ohhhh ...I see it here we will get started on that!" I went to Walgreens at 6:30pm to see if it was ready because still no text or call, waited in line for 45 minutes only to be told it's not ready and it will be another 15-20 minutes. Waited another hour before it was finally ready. When you or someone you love is extremely sick and need a medication filled quickly, DO NOT go to Boerne Walgreens! Every single time I come here I regret it. This time was no different. Had a prescription sent in by the doctor on Thursday, they told me it wasn't ready yet. Came to pick it up Friday. They told me they didn't like the doctors directions on it and needed to verify. Tried to pick it up again on Monday. They told me they had just gotten it and still hadn't filled it yet and that it would take half an hour. WHY is it so hard to get a paper receipt? It's beyond annoying and what makes it worse is when you ask for one the clerk acts so dumbfounded and says they can't print one. Came to get a Covid test , drove around several times looking for where to go for the test because the confirmation email does not indicate location. I arrived 20 mins before my appointment. i sat in line for 15 min to be told that I was in the wrong lane for the test and that it shows in confirmation email. Which I re read not once but 5 times looking for where it indicates where to go. It absolutely does not indicate where to go. Plus no signs then had to get back in line to the other window waited an additIonal 20 mins in the right lane. to be told I was late for my appointment. Wow this is horrible! read more

This pharmacy told me that I can't get that information over the phone and that I have to drive to each Walgreens to ask in person if they have the medication!! I wasn't going to write a review but now that I see I'm not the only person with a terrible experience with this pharmacy, I'm going to. The blonde pharmacist's delivery was incredibly rude and condescending. She denied a pickup for Gabapentin, of all things, after They filled it without us turning in a request. So I drove all the way down there to be turned away. The way she spoke At me while she held the bottle back as I was trying to pay, was embarrassing while other patients looked on. Her people skills are terrible!! She spoke to me like I was some sort of drug seeker. I worked in healthcare for 5 years and never encountered, nor spoke to anyone with her lack of proper temperament. Their system is clearly a mess. The prescription was 5 days early, and because she "couldn't get a hold of our doctor" she denied pickup. The patient in question has Parkinson's to top it off! I was just picking it up because he shouldn't drive. Might have made more sense if it was a controlled substance. We will not being going back to this location for anything. read more

Went to get passport photo yesterday. No one in photos so I went to look for someone. A male came around the corner and I asked if he could help me with photos. He grunted and sighed deeply and said " Well I was going to help cashier." I could tell he was very annoyed. What is wrong with people in a job were customer service is everything! Cannot say enough good things about this Walgreens location. They are my go-to for so many things. They have a good selection, the staff is friendly, their rewards program is great. Sometimes I can find products here I cannot find anywhere else in town. The store is always clean and neat. Breanna in cosmetics is always friendly and kind and eager to help. Recently, during an historic snow event for this area, I went to Walgreens in mid-afternoon for a few items. Many stores were closed at that time, and many people were shopping before the roads froze again. After selecting my items, we found that the line wrapped around the store to the back. We decided to wait in line. It took over an hour to check out, but when we did check out, we found out that the cashier, Kinder, who was working at the time, had manned the store and the cash register since 7:00 am that morning by himself. He was kind and patient despite what must have been a grueling experience for him. The mood in the store was a calm one, which I attribute to Kinder's professional handling of the crisis. Our cashier, Aiden, who arrived shortly before we checked out, was so kind and helpful. I regret that I do not remember the name of the long-term employee who usually cashiers for me, he, too, is also always kind and helpful. This store is to be commended! read more

Yesterday I went to pick up prescription that is ready. 8 cars at drive thru. It was 2PM so I figured my timing was bad. Experience dictated that it was likely longer inside. So I came back today before noon and got in line at the drive thru behind 10 cars. While sitting there I set up my prescription as an express pick up. Went inside to see 12 people in line. Apparently express pick up is expressly meaningless since there is just the one line of exasperated people. I will find a pharmacy that is more efficient. Standing in a socially distant line for an hour is ridiculous. read more

If you have not made a pharmacy choice yet, make this your last option. I do not want to belittle the trade. I understand that the job takes an education and certification, but the bottom line is - the purpose of a pharmacist is to take the proper pills out of a large container, place them in a smaller container, and place a label on it. These folks haven't figured out the basics, and believe me - your time doesn't matter to them.
