My doctor refilled a prescription and I went to pick it up, but it was at a different CVS. (Another story) The clerk was nice and found that my prescription was filled at the other CVS, but could transfer it. Yay, nice. She asked the pharmacist, who came over and within seconds was telling me, "won't fill it, go to the other." I think her words were right, she wouldn't transfer it from the other CVS. But she could..... I was prompt dismissed, as she repeated for me to go to the other CVS, and walked away. Kudos to the clerk, but I'll not go back and I'm transferring my prescriptions to a competitor that's just down the street. (And has better GoodRX prices too!)

Store itself is pretty big and the isle are wide. The staff were very welcoming and greeting each and everyone walking in, good customer service. With the isle being pretty wide, it does make the place look very spacious. Isle were fully stocked which is a major plus. We all hate going somewhere to pick things up only to not have any on the shelves, ugh. Just like pretty much all the Walgreens, you have the pharmacy counter and photos. Pharmacy did have a line but it did move quite fast. The service was great. Staff were all very friendly and the store was pretty neat and clean. Fully stocked isle, so this location was quite nice.

I got excellent service there. . The pharmacy became exclusively for prescriptions filled for in house patients or something like that. So I switched to the 18th street pharmacy at Castro Street. It's been one issue after another . Never the same employees so I have no allies in the sense that someone is looking out for me. Never mind all the company policies that continue to add to the difficulty of getting my meds filled much less the untimely manner as well. I'm frustrated. I hate to give any more business to Amazon. So I need to find a better alternative. Any and all suggestions are appreciated!

I don't know how they pick and choose location to add one compared to the normal. I've only been to the one in Orlando and now this location in the desert. Of course you have to have a massive parking lot to accommodate the loads of shoppers and wanderer's. Three entrances on either end of the store and garden center. There's a fast food place inside, you have the deli section and bakery. Of course the frozen section with quite some nice decent items. It's basically a grocery store on one side of the place. Even a decent isle for the international goods. There's a fairly decent section/department where the alcohol is located. So you have one side that's groceries and the other is basically everything else. Home goods, technology, clothing and so on. There's even a pretty decent size garden center that is pretty massive but it was a little sparse with what they offered. Some patio furniture, mainly soil and the usual pots and some plants. They also have a department for delivery and pickup. It's quite interesting for me...lol... Of course you have the option of self checkout or with someone. Bags are additional fee as we all know. What I didn't understand is, some of the items you would need to pay before hand if you want them. There's the beauty department where you have to leave your basket outside and pay for what you need before returning to it. And some other items in the store where you have to do the same or they can leave it at the customer service counter until you're finished. I had to do that with a measuring tape. We were still shopping and asked if it was ok. The staff seemed a bit annoyed with the request but took it to customer service anyways. Besides that concept, it a pretty good place for your one stop shop.

i was a customer at this cvs in target in cathedral city for many yrs as i live right behind it …read more it has become really unpleasant and uncaring and the pharmacist (think name is joseph) is so burnt out i think as they just really don't care anymore. our lives are in their hands with our meds i feel they know that and treat us like we are annoying them by just showing up. I transferred all my prescriptions to walgreens which is now 20 mins away but feel the drive is worth it for the better service. My spouse stayed at this cvs due to the convenience but after today's rude and demeaning conversation we both realized it's time for both of us to take our hard earned money and business elsewhere and don't even want to shop at ANY CVS because of it. I have regularly relied…read moreon this store for my everyday shopping, and it has historically been my preferred CVS location. I am also a CVS ExtraCare+ member and pay the monthly membership fee because I value the benefits and services CVS provides. Unfortunately, my experience on August 21 was extremely upsetting and humiliating. While I was shopping for my usual household and personal items, an associate named Crystal suddenly shouted at me from an aisle, stating, "You're the one staring at me with a big ol' bag." I initially stopped because I was unsure whom she was addressing. She then repeated, in front of other customers, words to the effect of, "Yeah, you. You're the one who is staring at me with that big ol' bag. I always see you in here stealing." I was shocked by the accusation and asked her directly, "Are you accusing me of coming in here and stealing?" She responded affirmatively and continued by stating that I was "always" in the store picking things up and putting them down and that I was stealing with my "big ol' bag." I walked away because I needed a moment to process what had just happened. While I was walking away, I could hear Crystal speaking to another customer about me and stating that I was always in the store stealing. I subsequently returned to address the situation. Crystal was assisting another customer and then proceeded toward the front of the store. She went behind the registers and, as I approached, appeared to alert the other associates that I was someone who was stealing. By the time I reached the registers, I observed multiple employees and customers looking in my direction. I confronted Crystal about the manner in which I had been treated. I explained that it was completely inappropriate and unprofessional to accuse a customer of theft publicly, particularly in front of other customers and employees. I explained that I am a longtime, loyal customer and that her familiarity with seeing me in the store was simply because I shop there frequently. During this interaction, Crystal stated, "You don't scare me." I clarified that I was not attempting to intimidate her and told her that I intended to report the incident to Lynn, the store manager. I again explained that there are appropriate and professional ways to address suspected shoplifting without publicly humiliating a customer. Crystal then invited me to her register and began apologizing profusely. She repeatedly stated that she was sorry, that she had made a mistake, and that she thought I was somebody else. She explained that the store experiences a great deal of theft and that she is therefore constantly on high alert. While I understand that CVS associates may have responsibilities related to loss prevention and may encounter suspected theft, that does not justify publicly accusing an innocent customer of stealing, particularly when the associate later acknowledges that she confused the customer with someone else. During the transaction, Crystal asked whether I wanted to use my points and coupons. I pointed out that my CVS account reflects my history and activity as a regular customer and questioned how that history could be consistent with the accusation she had made. She again apologized. When she asked whether I needed a bag, I responded that I would simply put my purchases in my own bag, referring to the same bag she had used as part of her accusation. She again apologized. I also observed the customer whom Crystal had apparently spoken to about me holding a phone in a manner that appeared to be recording. When I brought this to Crystal's attention, she denied that the customer was recording me. Shortly afterward, I observed the customer discreetly put the phone away. The following day, August 22, 2026, I contacted CVS Corporate Customer Relations to report the incident. I also informed the store manager, Lynn, who expressed a sincere apology. I appreciate the manager's acknowledgment of my concerns; however, I remain extremely disappointed and disturbed by what occurred. I want to be clear that my concern is not simply that an associate mistakenly believed I was someone else. Mistakes can happen. My concern is the way the situation was handled: I was publicly accused of theft, the accusation was repeated to another customer, other employees were apparently alerted to the accusation, and I was placed in an embarrassing and humiliating position in front of other customers. I should not have to defend my character, explain my education or financial circumstances, or prove that I am a legitimate customer in order to be treated with basic dignity and respect. The fact that I have been shopping at this location for more than 15 years makes the experience particularly disappointing. Sadly I will never be returning to this store again.

Hadn't been here in a minute but stopped in for some items and encountered an issue on the app. This has happened in other department stores And the manager's for the most part will Say something to thr regard of "call the corporate line for help with internet or app issues" Either they are too lazy or simply just DONT KNOW. Well, a manager was paged for me and out came "Corrine" instead of looking overwhelmed & upset she came over smiling and confident as ever. Absolutely the most efficient that I've ever encountered at this location as the others would avoid eye contact so you wouldn't bother them. ATTENTION HIRING DEPT!!! Corrine is an exceptional example of how it should be run particularly at a busy location such as this one. My recent visit to Walgreens for a picture printing service was marred by poor communication and unhelpful customer service. Upon arrival, an employee instructed me to use the computer without providing clear guidance on what I needed to do. Despite my efforts to follow her vague instructions, I struggled for 15 minutes before seeking assistance. When I approached another staff member for help, I was met with an attitude and reluctance to assist. It was frustrating to receive such dismissive treatment when I was simply trying to follow instructions. Clear communication and supportive customer service are essential in any retail environment, and it's disappointing that Walgreens failed to deliver on both fronts during my visit. This location needs more pharmacy staff during busy season. Every night there is a huge line for drive-thru pharmacy and then when you come inside the line is worse. Avoid this cathedral City location. The desert is always busy during season JAN - MAY that means have more staff during this time. It is unacceptable to have this many sick people in line. I will be taking my medication from Walgreens and moving it to a smaller compounding pharmacy. Corporate office pay attention to your stores and stop looking at saving payroll!!!! read more

Companies that let these things go are extremely unprofessional in my opinion. I really hope they can address communication and prevent anyone having to wait longer for their prescriptions again.
