My son picked it up for me because I just got discharged from the hospital and cannot drive. What I received was a No. 4 and No. 5 system for rehydrating curly hair. When I called the store to report the issue, instead of receiving an apology, I was met with a defensive explanation about how things were scanned and that's what they rely on. It seems reading is out of style these days. They made no effort to help me. They just said, "Well, bring it back to the store and we'll figure it out." So much for customer service. I guess they think they can charge high prices for their products and treat people this way, expecting we'll keep coming back? I don't think so. They better do something to make up for this hassle. I won't be buying any more Oliplex from Ulta.

I made an appt the week before (appts are highly recommend, as she books up quickly). After warm greeting, she first treats you with under eye patches to rejuvenate the area and reduce puffiness. She then outlines your brow to ensure it's the right shape. She works methodically and fairly gently. She then uses scissors to trim any wayward hairs . Obviously, my daughter was extremely upset. We quickly left and racked our brains where she may have gotten the lice... but we were a little skeptical. After looking at her scalp, I decided to bring her to a walk-in urgent care clinic to confirm the diagnosis. The Doctor Who examined her was positive that It was NOT head lice at all, rather, she had a dry scalp and some flaky skin. Really unhappy with the fact this woman upset and embarrassed my daughter not to mention we were unable to get her the cut she needed before going back to school. We have previously had pretty good experiences with the Ulta stylist team, but this new hire definitely leave something to be desired both in her knowledge of hair and scalp conditions, as well as appropriateness when delivering potentially upsetting news to a client.
