I have tried to be patient with Walgreens. I have had significant delays of filling my prescriptions on time most of the time with this Walgreens store. This time there have been four delays of three days or more at a time. They told me last Friday that my prescription would be ready on Tuesday, today is Wednesday and it is not ready. At first, no one there would talk to me to explain why. Finally, someone did, and they told me they could not fill my prescription due to a system error. However, with no explanation what that meant. I was told today that I needed the doctor to write a handwritten prescription to get my medication I need for treatment of pain of stage 4 cancer that has been delayed now three times for this prescription with different reasons for delay each time. If there is a system problem, FIX IT. There is definitely a people problem with me now after all the excuses that I have no trust in anymore. I do not know what the real problem is with them not being able to do their job. However, this time it is no longer acceptable to have a two-week delay, then fail, and bail, on their part. Today I looked on yelp and found that this Walgreens has an overall rating of two stars. I found another pharmacy company nearer my home with a four star rating. I am going to try them. Just to be clear, I never lost my temper or was rude. I am not that grumpy, mean old man. I did not raise my voice and I appreciated how they were trying to help. They were just not capable of completing the task of filling this prescription because of what they said was a "system error". I really question that statement. What does that mean? What I get from this ongoing experience is they do not know how to do their job. Or, the Walgreens Company has a problem with the medicine supply business. And no one in the company knows how to address the problem to fix it. 2 stars, I rate them at 1 star. I do not recommend Walgreens for your medicine needs if you need them in a timely manner. The worst pharmacy I've ever experienced. They couldn't find my Rx in their system that the Dr called in (antibiotics). The Dr called it in again so I went back to Walgreens. They said it was restocked for not picking it up because it was filled last week and it'll be a while before they can refill . Meanwhile different specialist called in another Rx (allergy med) After waiting and 3 trips, they gave me a bill as it was not covered by my insurance. Why didnt they twll me that already? They sure could of saved both of us time. Walmart around the corner had zero problems, got both Rx within 15 min, and my insurance covered it. read more

I love this Walgreens!!! I didn't have the full price. It was only 72 cents left over and when I asked if they do a veterans discount they said no but just said don't worry about it. Shows me that there is still kindness in this world :) read more

I used this pharmacy for a few years and in the past 10 months It has gone down hill so fast. Most of there staff is extremely rude. They have one tech named Gaby that is a total bitch. If you come when she's in a bad mood (6/7 days a week) she WILL take it out on you. I filled out the surveys on the receipts every time, I tried talking to staff, pharmacy manager, store manager and finally corporate about my problems and nothing ever was resolved. The pharmacy manager was really friendly and understanding but I don't think she had any control over her pharmacy because I was treated like a second class citizen every time I came in. I finally just transferred my scripts to another pharmacy where I am actually treated very well now. read more

This is for the pharmacy only: They have one of the rudest staff members there that I have ever come into contact with. I drove a neighbor to this pharmacy and the woman taking the fill order treated her so disrespectfully. At one point she told the lady to "shut up" and "don't tell me anything, I can read". It was so upsetting to watch. When we asked how long it would be the reply was, "It's going to be 25-30 minutes. If you have a problem with that you can take it somewhere else. Clear?" When we asked if she knew how much it would be the reply was, "Pshh, I'm not going to tell you any cost until I fill it. That's how we do things." I was incensed! I'd treat a stray dog with more respect than that woman showed this customer. She ought to be ashamed of herself! read more

It's a Walgreens what else to say.... They offer late hour service and they carry any last minute things you need like tampons, medicine, drinks, etc. for anyone that wears over the counter makeup they have good prices. They even have drive thru for your medicine. Pretty cool. read more

The only pro is convenient location. Cons: Pharmacy texts me to tell me the prescription is ready. Three hours later, I go there. There is one person in front of me. Takes 15 minutes before they get to me, and then they tell me that they need to have a pharmacist mix it. In all, I sat in the store for 45 minutes waiting to get the medicine that they'd already told me had been done, for HOURS. And it's a pharmacy, so I am sitting there with a sick toddler who does not want to be there any more than I do. When I finally get frustrated and start raising a stink, I am rudely told that they have been "calling and calling" for me. 1) I was sitting right there except for the time my toddler needed the bathroom (which takes forever, because you need to call someone to open the bathroom), and 2) even once I returned, it still took 10 minutes AND me asking to hear anything. Pros: Convenient location and usually has what I ran in for. Cons: Some of the cashier's are annoying in having to "walk" you through when you use a chip card. I can read the directions just fine on my own when it says to remove my card, thank you very much. When no one is at the register and they are not within site of it, you go hunt them down and come back to a line waiting and the cashier doesn't take you first! read more

The only problem I have with this Walgreens is the long wait time in the pharmacy drive-through, but I accept that is something that is likely to happen at any pharmacy. We once switched to a Target pharmacy, but the extra driving distance coupled with almost as long waits (and no drive through) made it clear that this nearby Walgreens is still more convenient. read more

A drug store is a drug store, you go in, grab what you need, pay and walk out so this isn't about the store, it's about the pharmacy... It's a complete mess. Not literally but figuratively. The people are less than helpful, they walk by without acknowledging your presence at the counter and then proceed to act annoyed when you give your name. There is never anyone in line but with the length of the wait you would think there were 5 people ahead of you. I always give a place a couple of chances to redeem themselves but this is the 3rd bad experience with the pharmacy. I do not plan on returning. read more

This location is HANDS DOWN the WORST I have ever used. Used the one in Granite Bay for years with no problem. After transferring my prescriptions here after a move I have had NOTHING but problems. As I write this review, I have been on hold for more than 15 minutes while the recording continues to tell me I will be the next call answered. I can almost guarantee you when they finally do pick up they will say they have not recieved anything from my doctor who I have spoken to the last 2 days in a row and they have faxed the Rx over twice. I had an awful experience at this pharmacy. I went through their drive through and waited for 20 minutes. There were other vehicles waiting there as well. When I finally went inside there was a big sign posted that they take a 30 minute break on Saturdays! I'm fine with employees taking a break, but the signage needs to be better posted in the drive-through. They were 10 minutes late coming back from their break, And then I had to wait another 20 minutes for the prescription to be filled. I contacted an employee of the store, and she seemed to care less. read more

An okay place to grab something from the isle, pay and go... Expect to be in line for at least 10 minutes no matter if there are no customers in front of you. Not the smartest people running the show! read more

This is a high profit high margin business. Customer service should at least adequate if not great. Had a problem with a prescription and had to wait on hold for 10 minutes before I could talk to anyone. This was third try because the first two times I waited around 7 minutes then had to take another call. Dumb way to run a business. Hire more help read more

This is by far the slowest pharmacy I've ever been to. I mean seriously, I've never had a pick up take 45 min when 3 people are in line, no one in the drive through and 4 people behind the counter. What the fuck?!??! Not to mention my doctor has to call everything in 4 times, "because they never get the call". On 3 dofferent occasions. If I could give this place negative stars I would. I am so livid right now that I can't even comprehend the incompetency of this place's pharmacy. I went there at 7pm on a Friday night and handed my prescription to the pharmacist which needed to be compounded. She tells me that the techs are the ones that make the medications and that they're not there for the rest of the night. So I ask her if she can make it instead and she tells me no because "I'm a float doctor and I don't do that." So I ask her when it will be ready and she says "maybe tomorrow if the techs get to it." So a day rolls around and still no word from the pharmacy, so I call them and they tell me that the prescription wasn't put in correctly so they didn't see it in their system so I have to wait for it to be ready. But, of course, they're taking lunch in 30 minutes so I have to wait an hour to see if the tech doing all of the compounding can set my order to priority. So there are several issues. Problem 1: you're a 24hour pharmacy and you don't have the (apparently) only staff who can compound medications? Problem 2: you're a fucking pharmacist. You have to have a PhD to achieve that title- and you're telling me you can't make a simple compounded medication when you make 6 figures a year and the techs make about 10% of that? Problem 3: what the fuck would you do if you needed to make a medication for a really sick child in the middle of the night when you're the ONLY compounding pharmacy open? Problem 4: ITS A FUCKING FRIDAY NIGHT AT 7PM- why do you not have at least 1 person competent enough to make the meds? If she gave me the medication I could have mixed them myself. It wasn't a difficult recipe. Problem 5: not only can you not make my medication-but you don't even put in the order? It's not like she was busy. I was the only person there. Lastly: it's a PAIN medication. I've been in excruciating pain for over 24 hours and I have to suffer while I wait even longer for it to be made. I can't take over the counter medications for the problem I have. Even the doctor who prescribed the medication told me that. Worst experience ever. Walgeeens has forever lost my business and I will happily repeat my story to anyone who will listen so they don't have to go through this shit. Fuck you, Walgreens. Now I know why the review for this place only has 2 stars. read more

This is for the pharmacy only. If I could give it 0 stars I would. The staff is never friendly and always waits about 10 minutes to even acknowledge your presence in the drive thru despite pressing the call button. This has happened multiple times. Writing this as I wait for the 10th time. Will be taking my business elsewhere next time. read more

I love this store. The people are so nice. Things have definitely been changing for the better. They ask us to do the reciept survey just so they can see how their doing. They actually care about our opinions. I can even tell that pharmacy has had some changes. Everyone is so friendly and I will continue going back. They treat me like family there. read more

This store is usually the one I go to.. I have never really had a bad experience here until tonight. I came to pick up the photos I ordered and I was standing at the counter while two employees chit-chatted and acted like I completely interrupted their oh-so-important conversation... Then the guy that finally decided to help me was very short/rude when even speaking. I don't expect the best service in the world at Walgreens but really...? Your conversation was completely pointless and it the attitude towards me for interrupting was completely obvious. read more

THE WORST PHARMACY EVER!!! This place is so close to my house, so I have been going there for years, but EVERY time I go it is miserable. It is time to wise up, quit banging my head against the wall and go to another pharmacy. They won't answer their phone so you can make sure your prescription is ready before you go. Today it took them 4 hours and 20 minutes to partially fill my prescription. It took them 20 minutes to just say word one to me at the drive through. They told me they needed 15 more minutes (it had already been 3 hours). I came back 45 minutes later, waited 20 minutes for them to even speak to me at the drive through and guess what?! My prescription was not done! When it was "done", I was informed that they did not have two of the 3 in stock!!! Save the headache and drive the extra block or two and go to a competent pharmacy. read more
