Internet orders seem to be this store's primary business. The store was bright, clean, well-organized, and offered a very wide variety. Prices on the whole were remarkably low. Technology abounds here, such as computers and scanners on all carts to enable shoppers to pay right from their carts. I purchased a few unique items I'd never seen elsewhere, and the cashier was truly friendly and enthusiastic.

It was my first time stopping at this location and the store orientation was a little different than some others I've visited. I noticed the frozen aisles had a nice amount of space, which probably helps when they're crowded. I was able to find everything I was looking for. Some of my Trader Joe's staples are the string cheese, white corn, salted sunflower seeds, Fusilli Corti Bucati Pasta, and couscous. Of course I picked up a bunch of other items, including some candles, room spray, treats for my dog, and some impulse candy buys (mango and passion fruit chocolate cups- YES PLEASE!). They were all still closed and waiting to be brought home. I ended up buying 4 bunches so I can give some to my daughter and some to my client. Trader Joe's also has unique floral arrangements that you don't normally find at regular grocery stores. Within 24 hours, maybe less, they were opening up and had that beautiful bright yellow they daffodils are known for. I love buying quite a few bunches so that it looks fuller in the vase! As much as I loved these flowers, they didn't last more than a few days. At both my house and my clients, these were tossed by the end of the week (I bought them on a Sunday.) Although I bought them at such a good price, I would still love for flowers to last a bit longer, not than less than a week.. (When I buy them at Safeway, they last 2 weeks!) I also bought myself a string of pearls (A SUCCULENT!!!!!) In the right hands, that baby can grow long and strong! I'll keep you updated on that one if you like! Service is always the best here. Just... erased from existence like it was in witness protection. I sat in the back of the lot for a solid minute processing the stages of grief. Denial. Confusion. Mild bargaining. "Maybe they're renovating?" (They were not.) The most unexpectedly entertaining part? Watching other loyal customers pull up. Park confidently. Pop the trunk. Grab their reusable grocery bags with purpose. Stride toward the door. Slow down. Squint. Pause. Existential crisis. We made brief eye contact, the universal look of "You too?" Honestly, we could've formed a support group right there between the abandoned cart corral and the faded parking lines. RIP to my routine. RIP to my parking spot. RIP to convenience.
