Everything about elle vit has exceeded my expectations. The interior is tasteful and stylish, and has a blissful energy. It is a great environment to compliment it's staff, who are knowledgable, professional and personable. Both of my visits, one for eyebrow waxing and a haircut, exceeded my expectations. The wax they use is a hard wax and is kind to sensitive skin. The haircut was quick, yet not rushed, and very well done. So thrilled to have found this little gem!

I try to never brag but this time I'm going to have to. Check this out... everyone has their choice…read moreon what they want for their kids hair. My choice is longer hair on my boys. I'm a super picky mom because a lot of people can't get it right. They always cut it too short or they do something to mess up their beautiful curls. I give the salon a heads up about this so that they can be extra careful with my kids hair, yet some have failed. However, this time I met Mo and not only did she succeed she rocked it out!. I truly say I am happy with her work. Mo was very attentive, she took the time with my two-year-old to cut his hair, and most importantly she took the time to explain things to me about how his hair would turn out so we wouldn't lose the curls. Even while she cut my hair and I asked her about a specific thing with my kids here she went ahead and fixed it and made it very clear that she wanted me to be happy and she would do whatever it took for me to be happy with my kids hair. Saturday I have an appointment for my five year old and he is also very picky with his hair I'm excited to see how that turns out so far she's definitely someone I would stick with. Thank you Mo. There's only one reason why I did not give the full five stars. I have a very sensitive nose and I smelled cigarette on her hands, but that's just me personally.

The Pool Company Construction just completed a renovation of our pool (new coping, tile, pool…read morelighting, railing). Their work was outstanding. No one really enjoys spending money on renovation projects, but we were so pleased with the results, and feel the money was well spent. From their first visit to discuss options and provide an estimate, through the entire project, they were professional, courteous, responsive and friendly. A special thanks to Gayle and Patrick. If you need anything done to your pool, give the Pool Company a call. I know that you won't be sorry. Steven T. (Spotsylvania)

I would like to give a big shout out to The Pool Company for their awesome and impeccable customer…read moreservice. I reached out to them being a new client and they did exactly what I signed on for. Kat was extremely friendly and courteous and kept me updated as well as Steve. Dave and Alan arrived and went right to work to drain and clean my pool. They also serviced my new Hayward system. Knew exactly what was needing to be down! Such a wonderful duo that is an asset to the company. I am not physically able to take care of our pool and they have earned my appreciation and respect. I will be a client from here on and plan on using their services to close and open my pool from here on out. You were all a life saver for me and many, many thanks to all of you :) If I could give 10 stars I would!!!!! K. Kirby

I had hired Absolute Stone Design in the fall of 2025 to repair an issue with my granite counter…read moretops having an uneven seam. They sent out two guys to repair my countertop. Only one of them spoke English. None the less, they were able to fix the issue. Fast forward to February 2026 and the issue with the uneven seam returned. Apparently, the fix didn't stay. Spoke with Renee at Absolute Stone Design and explained the issue. They sent two technicians to my house to repair the issue. This time neither one of them could speak or understand English which made it very difficult and problematic to explain what needed to be done and what my wishes were. Me and the technician ended up having to use a translator app on our phones to communicate which was quite time consuming and only prolonged the issue of getting my countertop fixed. After 20 minutes or so of back and forth trying to explain what the process was and what my expectations are the technicians began working. They put some sort of device that straddled the seam and using suction moved the two different sides of granite to make the seam even. The whole process took a little more than an hour. Once they were done, they seem to pack up their stuff in a hurry and left. Now my wife and I didn't stay in the kitchen the entire time and watch them work. Once they left, my wife and I went to dinner. Once we came back and closely inspected the work, that's when we found the damage to our countertops. They had put a hole in our stone and tried to cover it up by putting some kind of filler in the hole hoping we wouldn't notice it (see pics). I was able to scratch out the filler with my fingernail. I went to the Absolute Stone design office and spoke to the owner and explained the issue of what happened and showed him the pictures of the damage. His response at first was denial and then asked me how do I know that wasn't there before they started work. Then he tried to explain how the stone is old and brittle. He tried to explain away a couple of different excuses so as to avoid responsibility. After a little further explaining my position and how I don't buy his excuses I advised him that I am not paying the $300 fee he wants for the work as I am not paying them $300 to come to my house and damage my granite and then not offer to fix it. The owner was OK with that. He also advised me that he would speak with Renee about the issue and someone would be getting back with me the following week. That didn't happen and no one called me. Only after I received an invoice in my email (about a week later) did I call them back and speak with Renee and explained again what had happened. I could tell from our conversation that no discussion was had between her and the owner. I also advised her that I was not paying the $300 to them after they had damaged my granite. She understood and was OK with it. Now here we are a few weeks later and I get a call from a young girl at Absolute Stone Design inquiring about the $300. I again had to explain to this young girl what took place and for her to speak with the owner and Renee. I also explained that they sent two technicians to work at my house and neither one could speak or understand English. Her reply both shocked and surprised me as she said in an indignant manner that "I don't see what that has to do with anything..." and before I could explain, she hung up on me. Having been treated like this by Absolute Stone Design, I would not recommend doing business with these people as they are not very customer focused and apparently are OK with sending technicians to fix your problem without even being able to communicate with you should you have concerns or questions. And it appears that their staff are not properly trained on how to provide quality customer or show any empathy towards a customer who has experienced issues with their work nor do they seemed concerned in any way on offering to make it right. Buyer Beware!

I'd seen a sample of it at Home Depot, but my project didn't meet their minimum. Went to another shop in Powhatan; they were super nice but a bit pricey and their product was a fabricated copy. (I wanted Silestone for all the right reasons.). What really impressed me: 1) Melissa didn't charge me for the circle cut out I wanted in the top left corner - (for trash!); 2). Gonzago was so polite, knowledgeable, patiently measured and convinced me to get the matching backsplash. Glad I did. and lastly, 3) The install team was polite, efficient and filled in the glue where I thought more was needed. (Keep the lady happy!). I've referred Melissa and team once. Hope I can do it again. Thank you, ASD.
