Worst run pharmacy. Only one pharmacist and one CS on sat. However, today is Monday. I have bronchitis and a sinus infection. I have been waiting for my Meds for over an hour. Go back to the counter to find out there is a problem with the script but they haven't gotten around to calling the doctor yet! No one mentioned anything to me. They just let me sit there coughing and turning blue! I have worked in a pharmacy before and I know things get busy, but to let an obviously sick patient sit in the waiting room potentially infecting other customers is irresponsible at best read more

The actual pharmacy is the WORST!! No empathy, care or passion for customers or their job. I left Urgent care with a ores rotini to full. Standing in line @8pm announcements are already being made that no new prescription will be filled for rest of the night, mind you they have no clue what diagnoses/pain/issues any one in the line has. When I finally made it to Tech I literally had to beg to get my prescription for Percocet filled (should indicate pain level) in addition to what was already sent over. I was in so much pain and waited so long that when I finally got prescription I didn't check it he just went home. I got home and noticed I was missing antibiotic which was more critical that the Percocet. I called and was told pharmacy is closed though they were still in the store. I knew someone's name there and that's how I got in contact with the pharmacy. Tech told me no prescription with here for antibiotic and I needed to call doctor. I asked if she could call doc to confirm over phone and she said no. Urgent care closed at 9 so no choice but to go to bed sick and in pain knowing no help till morning. I called urgent care at 9 only to be told that the antibiotic was definitely requested. I called back pharmacy only to be told 'oh it seems after you called we found it and scanned it in we were having system issues'. I understand system issues but NO apology from her then. I was told it would be filled so come in. I explained I'm in Percocet and was too groggy to drive plus it wasn't safe,I was just told it would be ready when I got there. I finally dragged myself in and again no apology but a 'Mgr' drugged as I was asking if I wanted to talk, well no, an apology at that point would've been fine. Ultimately I was hospitalized hours after leaving the pharmacy for 3 days, not because of the drive there, but just to show how badly I needed those antibiotics. I'm here now to pick up prescription after discharge (only because I had no time to switch pharmacy) and after explaining to said 'Mgr' that wanted to 'talk' that day all I was told is they have no control over system. I said I get that but doc could've been called, prescription could've been delivered to which he says 'yes it could've cause we've done that before'.....again, no sorry that wasn't done. I reiterated how u professional and disorganized they were and all he asked was if there's anything else that he can help me with today. I'm still stumped. read more

I went to the hospital with new insurance and they sent me here to pick up my prescription, since it was a couple miles away. I go there, right after being released, still very sick and living 40 minutes away. I get to the counter when a very unhelpful young man wearing a suit vest told me that they put my prescription back because they needed my issuance information. I can barely walk at this point. He says it'll be about 10 minutes and he'll enter my info. Hasn't made eye contact with me once. He goes to the back, comes back as I'm using the counter for balance, and he says "actually, it'll be 45 minutes to an hour, why don't you walk around the store?" I couldn't stand for another 5 minutes and the measly 5 waiting chairs are full. "Can't you transfer this to my preferred pharmacy in Hercules, near my house?" He suggests one in bay point. I say no, I live too far from there and need to rest, I just got out of the hospital. He argues about my address until finally he says have your pharmacy call and we'll fax it over. Mm pharmacy calls for 7 hours with NO answer. 7 hours. I was supposed to take my medication within an hour. It took me calling 5 times until someone else finally answered and faxed over my prescription. That was the only saving grace. This pharmacy severely disappointed. read more

Oh dear, what have I got myself into by coming into this store. I just really couldn't believe how other worldly this store was. What ever planet this store is from, it needs to be destroyed. Our baby got his first shots and we wanted to get some baby Tylenol or the generic equivalent. It comes in liquid form with a little dropper. My darling of all darling husband wanted to go in and get it while I waited in the car with the baby. That was fine with me because it was raining outside also. I sat and sat and I saw a ton of people coming in and out but no husband and no baby medicine. Finally he came out, empty handed? He gets in the car and says " I don't know whats going on in there. I don't know where or what the baby medicine is." Huh? I jump out and go in. I'm bombarded with chaos and dysfunction everywhere. The upside the aisles are clearly marked and the baby aisle was the second lane as you walk in. Everything was disorganized. I'm standing in front of the baby medicine and now I see why my husband, who is very new to this, couldn't find the appropriate medicine. The shelves were almost empty except for two generic brands. I grabbed the Walgreen's cherry flavored brand of acetaminophen (generic for Tylenol). I was also looking at getting a brand of formula that my pediatrician recommended. All of their formula was locked up behind plastic doors. Yes locked up! I don't know whats sadder that the formula was locked up or that someone has to steal formula to feed their baby. Just seeing it really disturbed me. Then theres the line to pay. Honestly I think the line is due to the majority of clientel rather than the employees. I saw check writing, a million coupons and I think someone paid in all pennies at one point. The whole experience was ponderous. Not to mention I will guarantee you will see at least 2 possibly 3 neck tattoos. Thats on men and women both so keep your eyes peeled. Neck tat's, locked up baby food and empty shelves.......not my kind of store. read more

Not the most convenient of Walgreens locations, tucked away on a busy street where you have to cut and peel to get into the parking lot to avoid somebody plowing into you. You know how when you go on vacation and you're unpacking in your hotel room and you realize "Crap, I forgot my toothbrush!" and you go hunting for whatever drug store is most convenient? That's this Walgreens to me. They do have a decent sized parking lot for the location, though it's quite cozy and there's always trash. I opened my car door on my most recent visit to find a bag's worth of McDonald's food smashed all over the ground, like a ketchup-riddled crime scene. Ick. I've only ever stopped in here out of convenience but they've always had what I needed, be it allergy pills or lady products. So you take the good with the bad. I am glad that there are cleaner and generally more congenial locations closer though. read more

For the last 5 months I have been dropping off my 2 monthly prescriptions 4 to 7 days early, and trying to pick them up on the same fill day which is days later.. Every month they are out of one or the other, and the result is I have no prescription for days at a time every month. This is a critical medication I have to take on time. For 5 months I have been asking for help, but getting no interest at all in solving my problem. I finally called 1 800 Walgreens. They were sympathetic and helped me work out a way to solve my problem. So a month later and I have called the pharmacy manager. Narges. Every time she gives me instructions on what to do, I follow the instructions to the letter and the next day she has different instructions. I still can't get my prescriptions. She is rude, doesn't listen to a word I say and is clearly annoyed by my presence. She actually said I should go to a competitor. I have been going to Walgreens for over 10 years, but now I have switched to CVS. They couldn't be worse read more

I have been coming here for 5+ years and yes sometimes there was is a line that feels like forever but all the techs back there filling prescriptions and waiting on us are always doing their job and doing the best they can with what they are given. I have never had anyone be rude to me and are always apologetic about the wait. It's always everyone trying to come at the same time. It's not their fault . Small and older but clean inside. It is a smaller store so limited selection on some things but really quite a variety. The clerk at the front was kind and attentive. This place needs to relocate :( Parking lot is so cramped, when I was turning to park, I felt like I was already hitting the car next to me, good thing there wasn't a car on my driver's side or else I wouldn't be able to get out without almost hitting my door door against that persons car. Inside the place looks pretty cramped too, you could tell when you step in. Everything looked jammed inside. I found what I wanted though without looking up and down every aisle which was good since the make-up section is in the front of the store. The lady in front of me took awhile but the worker helped her out as quick as she could since there was a line going on. When she helped me, she was very nice and asked how my day was. She was patient with me when I was getting out my coins, I notice workers who tend to roll their eyes or their body getting a bit flustered when customers don't have their money ready yet, but she was nice and didn't mind at all. Good experience here except the homeless people walking around the area and sitting on the bench asking for spare change. read more

I hate reviewing a place where I would have to give one star. But the pharmacy at this place sucks big time. They need to care more about people and not just treat them to get rid of them. I got my father's prescription at this place and we made a mistake of going to CVS first so the prescription was sent there by the doctor. I told them the whole story and they said to wait as sometimes it takes too long for CVS to send scripts over. I talked to CVS before I left and they told me that they would send it to Walgreens. We waited for almost 45 mins and during these 45 mins I had checked with them many times and they kept saying it wasn't there yet. I finally called CVS the third time and they had to fax it over twice. I wouldn't be so mad if my father didn't just get out of the hospital. These workers need to care about their customers from the pharmacist to the cashiers to the intake. Everybody that works at this pharmacy. They actually get zero star from me if that's possible. The problem would've been remedied had someone checked the fax machine. They're so accustomed to dismissing customers all day that they don't give anyone the benefit of the doubt. The pharmacist wouldn't even move an inch as if to say look I'm busy here and I don't have time for yet another interruption. I'm a nurse at a very busy place and not once I treated anyone in this manner. So I don't accept any excuses. You chose to work in a service oriented job then be man enough and start performing your duties. Don't come to this place like the other reviewer said. Not all Walgreen's are the same. I've been going to the new one a few miles up the road and the employees there are a breath of fresh air. read more

Everytime I'm in there Kiana who is an employee is super helpful and always greets me with kindness. There is another lady I believe her name is Krista is is really nice as well. I'm not the only one with a bad customer service experience I see. I went to exchange a product and when I went to the cashier, he said I needed to go to the photo counter to do the exchange because that was where the manager was. He was actually pretty nice. I went to the photo counter and saw the lady that had looked at me earlier and didn't say anything to me. She said that next time I exchange something, I have to leave it with the cashier. Like I was supposed to know that? I told her there were no instructions I saw...and she said for next time I now know. read more

Don't bother processing your photos here. They want you to fill out some copyright form's or actually bring your photographer to come sign something. Who brings their photographer to go print out photos that were given to them that they own? Worst service ever. And the policy actually makes no sense whatsoever. read more

The Pharmacy is horrible. Every time I come here the lines are long with only one cashier. No apologies for the wait, and the wait for time can be longer than 20 minutes just to get to the cashier. No Managers around, no one to help assist the cashiers. Will not get any of my medication filled here again. Very disorganized, medication never ready when I get a call and say that it's ready. Need better service members and more cashiers for the Pharmacy. Disappointed read more

I'm giving it 5 stars because my experience at the pharmacy was great while other people's experience looked worse. I got my flu shot on 9/19 (Mon) at 3PM, a time I purposely planned to go to avoid those who leave work (and those who leave work early, and those who had just picked up their kids from school). My experience: I checked in, filled out forms, got my flu shot, left in about 10 minutes tops. So quick, really pleasant. You really can't get service this quick -- 5 STARS. By the time I was done, there were 7 people waiting in line and phones were ringing. I could already see that the wait is going to be miserable -- 2 or 3 STARS. I had a really pleasant experience but they don't have enough staff to accommodate peak demands. So my advice would be try your best to avoid peak hours... oh, and GET YOUR FLU SHOTS! read more

Bad customer service. Asked an employee to use the bathroom, she mumbled "in the corner". I went to the corner where there was a door and it was locked, asked the nearby manager if this was the right door. He said, you have to ask to use it, and I said I did, and he replied that I didn't! I told him his employee had barely been able to give me a reply let alone actually let me into the bathroom as was their policy. He didn't care or apologize. Also there was no tp in the bathroom. Then at the pharmacy the lady took 15 minutes to check my order even though I had prior authorization. It wasted my time and soon their was a line of 7 people behind me waiting. read more

This past Christmas I went in to buy a $20 gift card and advised that I had to pay cash (no debit card accepted for gift card purchases) Not a problem. I had over a $100 bill, cashier checks it and hands me back my change. I put my money in my wallet and leave. A few hours later I go to use the change received and I was told that one of the $20 bills was fake. I called over to the store and asked to speak with the manager who wasn't there, no return phone call as requested. I called the corporate office to file a complaint, no return call. At this point my time is worth more than the $20 lost but seriously....Walgreens sucks. read more

Whoever manages this Pharmacy needs to be fired. I have never in all my life experienced such a disorganized, mismanaged, chaotic practice. I have been waiting a week for my prescription to be filled, everyday I call and they tell me it will be ready the following day. When I finally spoke with the Pharmacist, they told me they couldn't order the medication and would have to fax my doctor for an alternative. The asain guy at the pharmacy first said he couldnt find my prescription. Then said it would be 37 dollars i had to tell him 5 times i have insurance and its covered and he kept saying no its not. Then he finally figured out how to use my insurance. Then he told me it would take 30 minutes to get my pills. Wow what a great service read more

Agree with the reviews down below, the parking lot is super cramped. Stopped by after work a couple of weeks ago because I needed a FastTrak device which the website said they carried it at this location.
