Came in to buy a specific lotion that I need for my psoriasis and was shocked to see that it was $17.99 shelf price and nearly $20 after taxes. I bought it because it wasn't in stock anywhere else. At home, I went online to see if maybe the price was actually off and to my surprise, the price on their website was under $13! I called the store and was transferred to a manager who informed that their online prices are lower than their in store ones. I was dumb founded that my 4oz lotion has a $4-5 dollar mark up in store. This is the worst pharmacy I've ever had the displeasure of using. If you plan to fill a prescription here, don't. They refuse to fill and never receive prescriptions, no matter the number of times your doctor will send it through. Staff is rude and not understanding. Not only this, but the line for the pharmacy is always at least five people deep and it will take you an hour of standing in line for you to even make it to your turn (which is really fun when you're expecting a prescription and get turned away because the staff won't look for it). I highly don't recommend using the Westlake pharmacy. I talked to 4 representative regarding my prescription being refilled as well as informing them on my doctor change and neither of them could help assist instead kept transferring me to another line. In total I was on hold for an hour and 30 minutes and by the time I got ahold of someone they decided to hang up on me not once but twice! My doctor will send in a prescription they tell me it will be ready a certain time and it is NEVER ready on time. I come in and they don't even start to fill it until I'm there. Tried to get prescription filled through workers comp. they were sending to wrong dept. & when we tried to call them to get them the correct information we were transferred multiple times,eventually reaching the rudest human on the planet. I tried to explain what I needed and they said I'm busy to call me back because I have a line. Really? WTF?! I hate Walgreens! CVS has a much better customer service. The good: they had a vaccination appt. available when I needed it. The less good: they could not, or did not want to take the time to find my appt. details without push-back from me. Then when it was my turn, they had me down for a booster instead of a 1st vaccine. Note that there are many layers of forms to fill out prior to vaccination - all of them indicated first vaccine. I had to push back again. And again, I am left to wonder if I actually got the first vaccine, or maybe the pharmacist just gave me whatever and indicated first vaccine. I have to wonder because there was hardly a word uttered by her. No apology, no assurance, then without warning, a painful jab. No next step guidance provided after - I needed to coax it out. I usually go to this Walgreens cause it's 24 hours. I went to pick up items for my dogs at 9pm at night. I saw a digital coupon that would have saved me some money. It made me login to the app. When I wasn't logged in the app, the coupon showed... when I logged in it wouldn't let me clip the coupon. I went to the cashier and when I was up there I told the cashier the coupon wasn't loading... I wasn't sure if it was my cell phone so I told him to hold on while I try to snip it since it didn't load ever since I logged in. Then the guy said it's too late. I need to snip the coupon before he scans my item. Only way around it is to void the entire transaction. I didn't understand the problem since there was no one else in line but me and I didn't pay yet. I was also buying only a 4 items... 2 dog food pate, one notebook and some wipes. The wipes had the coupon. But he made it seem like it was a big deal to void my transaction. Most Walgreens I go to have the book they can scan so we get the coupon but he didn't offer that. Now after I left it was a digital or book coupon for Westlake. It's kinda sad they promote savings and their coupon since I paid full price because the cashier didn't want to void the transaction that took less than 5 seconds for him to scan. You're screwed... You need a 24 Hour Pharmacy and so you sort of have to come here. It's crowded 24/7 the pharmacy is slow, but what are you going to do? Warning: If a doctor sends in a prescription here but you are planning on paying cash (vs. insurance) you need to call the pharmacy and tell them that you plan on paying cash otherwise they won't fill the prescription until you arrive. On a Saturday afternoon, that could be a 90 minute wait - worse if it's the middle of the night. Signed up for text alerts for when your medication is ready? Maybe you'll get a text, maybe you won't. For some reason, SO MANY CARS fill this parking lot - and parking is a pain. Not only that, but the wait at the pharmacy and check-out lines can be long/frustratingly slow at these times. I've found if I go anytime around 830-10pm, I have no problem getting what I need and leaving without too much of a wait (for some reason, there's always SOME sort of wait at this walgreens) Again, it's nice to know you have a 24-hr walgreens nearby, and this one is a good size with most items always stocked. read more

I hate hate hate coming to this Walgreens. Always a long line at the pharmacy, and the people behind the counter have the worst customer service. I use their Express Pass so i can bypass the line, but when they open up that window to everyone because the line is so long, then i have to wait for the current customer who is NOT using the Express Pass to be complete before they can get to my transaction. In today's case, the non-Express Line went faster than the Express Line which pissed me off to no end. Why even use Express Pass then? The people behind the counter don't care either -- not one apology for the wait. Also -- in the past, I've asked for a plastic bag to carry the 4 prescriptions for my daughter, and the women who was ringing me up behind the counter said they didn't have any bags. I happened to ask another woman behind the counter before i walked away, and she was like SURE! and gave me a bag. THANKS initial lady who told me that there were no bags. Pharmacy review only. Understaffed. Some staff poorly trained. Bad customer service. Inability to manage time. An HOUR to fill a prescription after being told it would be 30 minutes? And then made to wait at the counter because someone else has been waiting ten minutes ("a really long time"?) Promises to call when Rx is ready - then never call. Promises to text when Rx is ready - no texts. Don't let you know when a Rx is delayed or unavailable until you wait in their very slow-moving line, even a couple days after you have put in the refill request. Did I say "bad" customer service? How about total lack of customer service? How about actively detrimental to the health of their customers? How about negligence? This is by far the worst managed pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Its huge with large selections of houswares, food (pre-made and junk), cosmetics (I have no idea if they have good stuff but they have a lot), drinks (Energy to water), Light bulbs all types, packing supplies, cards (gift or not), balloons, a few crazy people always loitering(but that isn't their fault), kids toys n games and a whole bunch of crap you don't need but like to buy anyway.
