This review is for the pharmacy. This pharmacy is an absolute joke. No medication is EVER ready on time. My doctor will send in a prescription they tell me it will be ready a certain time and it is NEVER ready on time. I come in and they don't even start to fill it until I'm there. They take no accountability and only offer a pathetic "so sorry" but continue doing the same thing. Save yourself and go to CVS. Horrible customer service in pharmacy. Tried to get prescription filled through workers comp. they were sending to wrong dept. & when we tried to call them to get them the correct information we were transferred multiple times,eventually reaching the rudest human on the planet. Person we were talking to put us on hold,didnt say she was transferring to another person,when she picked up my daughter told her we were on hold for another person and she says you called me,how am i supposed to help you if you dont say what you want? She explains whats happening and this rude manager keeps telling her how they cant change anything(like to the right phone number) she was rude,terse and condescending and when my daughter told her she didnt need to be so rude and condescending she was worse,she then said they would not fill my daughter's prescription and shed have to go elsewhere. I usually go to this Walgreens cause it's 24 hours. I went to pick up items for my dogs at 9pm at night. I saw a digital coupon that would have saved me some money. It made me login to the app. When I wasn't logged in the app, the coupon showed... when I logged in it wouldn't let me clip the coupon. I went to the cashier and when I was up there I told the cashier the coupon wasn't loading... I wasn't sure if it was my cell phone so I told him to hold on while I try to snip it since it didn't load ever since I logged in. Then the guy said it's too late. I need to snip the coupon before he scans my item. Only way around it is to void the entire transaction. I didn't understand the problem since there was no one else in line but me and I didn't pay yet. I was also buying only a 4 items... 2 dog food pate, one notebook and some wipes. The wipes had the coupon. But he made it seem like it was a big deal to void my transaction. Most Walgreens I go to have the book they can scan so we get the coupon but he didn't offer that. Now after I left it was a digital or book coupon for Westlake. It's kinda sad they promote savings and their coupon since I paid full price because the cashier didn't want to void the transaction that took less than 5 seconds for him to scan. I am a African American woman and they never have a good enough supply for hair products for women like me , the staff is one nationality and they stick together . I always go to this store. I love the 24 hours . I was racially profiles today by the front desk cashier , She followed me all over the place this morning , and got upset , when I called her up on her behavior . As I approached the register she turned her nose up at me , and turned her register off and left me there , until the very polite manager came to assist me . The good: they had a vaccination appt. available when I needed it. The less good: they could not, or did not want to take the time to find my appt. details without push-back from me. Then when it was my turn, they had me down for a booster instead of a 1st vaccine. Note that there are many layers of forms to fill out prior to vaccination - all of them indicated first vaccine. I had to push back again. And again, I am left to wonder if I actually got the first vaccine, or maybe the pharmacist just gave me whatever and indicated first vaccine. I have to wonder because there was hardly a word uttered by her. No apology, no assurance, then without warning, a painful jab. No next step guidance provided after - I needed to coax it out. I buy a bunch of products including a Boiron natural remedy for stomach upset. $3 off coupon attached. I detach coupon & give to cashier. She ignores it & charges me full price. I want my $3. She calls manager who is befuddled at first, then rude, then beyond rude. Blames me for not having paper coupon (it's emailed by Walgreens). Blames me for letting myself get over charged then having "an attitude". It's after 1, I'm hungry. Well if i did have an attitude, what would you call the manager? What an angry woman. Service is absolutely horrible here. Walgreens standard is to price match right? Well apparently not even just for their online prices. They want you to order the item online for store pickup instead to get that price instead of doing the adjustment for the item right in store. Talk about a hassle. You're screwed... You need a 24 Hour Pharmacy and so you sort of have to come here. It's crowded 24/7 the pharmacy is slow, but what are you going to do? Warning: If a doctor sends in a prescription here but you are planning on paying cash (vs. insurance) you need to call the pharmacy and tell them that you plan on paying cash otherwise they won't fill the prescription until you arrive. On a Saturday afternoon, that could be a 90 minute wait - worse if it's the middle of the night. Signed up for text alerts for when your medication is ready? Maybe you'll get a text, maybe you won't. The crazy parking lot is just a precursor to how terrible your Walgreens experience is going to be. read more

They are open 24-hours, super convenient if you're pressed for time or do not want to schedule your drugstore trips. They are one of the larger drugstores, super convenient one stop shop for your needs. You won't need to wait long for a spot to open up in their large parking lot, super convenient! It's nice to know you have a 24-hr Walgreens nearby for any emergencies. My advice, avoid this Walgreens during 'rush' hours. This would be anytime between 330-730pm. For some reason, SO MANY CARS fill this parking lot - and parking is a pain. Not only that, but the wait at the pharmacy and check-out lines can be long/frustratingly slow at these times. I've found if I go anytime around 830-10pm, I have no problem getting what I need and leaving without too much of a wait (for some reason, there's always SOME sort of wait at this walgreens) Again, it's nice to know you have a 24-hr walgreens nearby, and this one is a good size with most items always stocked. read more

I hate hate hate coming to this Walgreens. Always a long line at the pharmacy, and the people behind the counter have the worst customer service. I use their Express Pass so i can bypass the line, but when they open up that window to everyone because the line is so long, then i have to wait for the current customer who is NOT using the Express Pass to be complete before they can get to my transaction. In today's case, the non-Express Line went faster than the Express Line which pissed me off to no end. Why even use Express Pass then? The people behind the counter don't care either -- not one apology for the wait. Also -- in the past, I've asked for a plastic bag to carry the 4 prescriptions for my daughter, and the women who was ringing me up behind the counter said they didn't have any bags. I happened to ask another woman behind the counter before i walked away, and she was like SURE! and gave me a bag. THANKS initial lady who told me that there were no bags. Pharmacy review only. Understaffed. Some staff poorly trained. Bad customer service. Inability to manage time. An HOUR to fill a prescription after being told it would be 30 minutes? And then made to wait at the counter because someone else has been waiting ten minutes ("a really long time"?) Promises to call when Rx is ready - then never call. Promises to text when Rx is ready - no texts. Don't let you know when a Rx is delayed or unavailable until you wait in their very slow-moving line, even a couple days after you have put in the refill request. Did I say "bad" customer service? How about total lack of customer service? How about actively detrimental to the health of their customers? How about negligence? This is by far the worst managed pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Went to Walgreens to pick up some cough drops and the first thing that came to my mind was remembering that Walgreens was pretty expensive. I was like whatever I'm paying for convenience. Well i debunked my theory after walking in lol. Prices were not as i remember them, got 50 halls cough drops for $5. Also wandered around and got an igloo lunch bag for $9.99 and some candles. Employees were helpful in directing me around. Cashier was extremely cheerful. The only thing that would of made this experience better is maybe revising the store layout. Yeah for a Walgreens its five stars. Everyone is nicely kept and well organized. Its huge with large selections of houswares, food (pre-made and junk), cosmetics (I have no idea if they have good stuff but they have a lot), drinks (Energy to water), Light bulbs all types, packing supplies, cards (gift or not), balloons, a few crazy people always loitering(but that isn't their fault), kids toys n games and a whole bunch of crap you don't need but like to buy anyway. Yeah treat yourself to that 3.99 stuffed animal that plays an annoying song when you squeeze it. THE PHARMACY IS 24HOURS. The pharmacy needs to engage in an honest evaluation of its services. Rarely if ever did i walk in for my prescription and wait under 15 minutes before they cut their hours from 24 hours to 8am - 6, 8 or 9pm. Now the line stretches down the entire aisle. Halving your hours is going to require extra employees during hours of operation. I would get this prescription delivered but it's considered a narcotic and undeliverable. CVS doesn't seem to have these problems. I shouldn't need to treat my pharmacy like the DMV and arrive an hour before opening so i can be first in line ensuring i get in and out in the two minutes it takes for my pick-up interaction. read more

They have the wrong store hours posted online. I called and was put on hold for a lengthy amount of time. I was confirming that they had received my daughter's prescription. I was told that the insurance denied coverage. I called the doctor's office and was told by them that they had submitted the wrong prescription to Walgreen's. I had clearly specified exactly what the prescription was but obviously the tech wasn't listening to me or she wouldn't have confirmed that they had received it. I asked if there was an alternative OTC medication and the tech transferred me to the pharmacist. I was on hold for 24 minutes before I gave up. Take your business. read more

Horrible! Pharmacist Saba - most incompetent egomaniac pharmacist ever! Absolutely incredible! Went in person, was given wrong medication after having verified that it was available for pick up. I get home and have to call back no less that 12 times to get them to help but to no avail - first doesn't know what medication should be available, then doesn't let me talk to tech who had just told me name of medication; I have to call back to speak to the store manager to let me talk to the tech to get the name of the medication; the tech is afraid to talk to me because she is intimidated by pharmacist who still insists she knows best what is going on. Finally the tech gives the name of medication, then transfers to pharmacist who hangs up on me. Again have to call back the store manager to get me to pharmacy because they are not picking up. Finally pharmacist Saba attempts to process medication but then says her computer is too slow and that I should call in the morning and hangs up. Again, I have to ask store manager to go help pharmacist Saba with the computer, she then again hangs up on me. And, same process repeats several times- finally computer processed and says she'll check if medication is in stock (which had previously been verified was in stock and ready for me to pick up - and again pharmacist Saba hangs up on me. I call yet again and go through store manager because Saba is not picking up in pharmacy or pick up and hanging up. Now pharmacist Saba says they don't have medication in stock. It's been more than two hours - never in my life have I ever experienced such outright malicious incompetence! Absolutely horrifying! read more

BEST WALGREEN'S EVER!!! Not only is it 24/7 and convenient, they sell Filipino goodies there like "boy bawang" (i can hear the Filipinos laughing at me and at this). I wouldn't necessarily buy pan de sal or lumpia wrapper since there are fresh bakeries and markets all around the area but its exciting to see those items at walgreens. of all places, yes WalGreens. I actually was craving Casa cake at 1am in the morning and purchased a 4 pack frozen pack and steamed it. i thought i'd need sugar but it was actually good and i enjoyed it. Also, when toiletries runs out this convenient place and i there to save the day out of me. they are always stalked, there is always polite helpers, and i never run over the budget because, duh, it's walgreens! But minus one star because PARKING SUCKS and people do not know how to drive or park for crap. I do blame the four way stop design at the corner of starbucks and the one way in and one way out doesn't help much but people need to compromise. I usually park far, its pointless to waste time waiting and waiting for someone to leave. I went in looking for hemostats. I asked one person who directed me to an aisle that had only medications. He then called for customer assistance who didn't know what they are. I explained they are similar to tweezers but are for clamping and a medical device. He tried to take me to the tweezers section when I reiterated that they are a medical device. He he then mumbled something I couldn't understand, and then just walked away...and never came back. After a couple of minutes it became very clear he never intended to even bother to follow up.
