IDK why people mark down this store. Get what you need & get out. I've experienced the most helpful staff. This location has provided my snacks, passport pictures & Rx for my boyfriend. They're helpful & efficient. The parking lot is a bit wild. Between the first front spots in front of the store, the wrap around Rx lanes & old people, I'm surprised there's not a car accident EVERY day. That still has nothing to do with the actual service. This is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. Every time I call I am on hold for 25+ minutes. Was told my prescription would be ready yesterday and it is still not ready 24 hours later. Don't waste your time with the drive thru unless you have 30-45 min to waste. After my call was dropped, I drove to the store and have been watching the pharmacy pickup and immediately hang up and incoming calls. read more

I don't really have anything bad to say about this location. I like the location. It's near a lot of shopping and in a safe area. They are just a very busy location. If you go for the pharmacy just plan to work in a good amount of wait time. I think it just comes with the territory and nature of the business when it comes to the pharmacy unfortunately. I received my booster vaccine here and the pharmacist was really nice. The pharmacy staff was nice here also. read more

This is Walgreens store #7167 and it's located in Dunwoody Village in the heart of Dunwoody. It's located next door to The Fresh Market. Good people work here. My wife needed to print out some head shot photos and we sent the photos for printing at this Walgreens. She used her phone to upload and submit her photo for printing. When we arrived to the store, no one was at the Photo + Tech department, but the sole cashier noticed and came to help us as soon as he was available. He couldn't find my wife's order in the pickup bins so he called his manager. The manager, Antonio, looked into the situation further. It turned out that my wife forgot to tap one more button on her phone to finalize the order for processing. However, after doing that, we still had to keep waiting. At Antonio's suggestion, she submitted a brand new order and it worked almost instantly. Antonio got us exactly what we needed. The two passport-photo-sized head shots cost only cost $0.37 total ($0.34 + $0.03 tax). Seems like a good price to me. Great, polite service. Thank you, Antonio. On a Thursday evening, this Walgreens was clean, well-stocked, and had a light amount of customer traffic. It seems dependable. read more

I had clipped a coupon for an item that was $1.99 online and the coupon was for $1.99. When I tried to purchase the item in the store, they said the coupon did not come up. They said I had to do it for pick up, but it said the item was out of stock For pick up even though there were plenty in the store. So when the manager rang up $1.69 for the item. She said she couldn't apply the $1.99 coupon because it wasn't for the same amount. I now understand why I rarely go to Walgreens. read more

I come to this location because it has FedEx drop off. The workers are always really helpful and the store is pretty organized.

Literally every time I go there AFTER they say the medicine is ready-it never is. I just waited 45 minutes and they are so rude. Last time they tried to not fill my daughter's medicine until dats later when it had already been 6 weeks since refilled. We let them know this and that we were headed out of town and they said we could come back after lunch and speak to the pharmacist about it. Lo and behold the second we get on the highway (5 minutes later) they call saying it's ready. They had messed up the dates in the system. I just can't. They're the worst. read more

Walgreens for a few things I forgot to pack. Easy in and out. Found what I was looking for and on sale.

This place has everything. Feeling stopped up, get a laxative. Going to the beach, get some sunscreen. Need some chocolate, they have it. I think you can even get prescriptions filled here while you get your milk. read more

Wow. My wife and I use this pharmacy because it's close. That is about it. They mess up the prescriptions regularly. At this minute, I've been in the drive thru behind one car for 25 minutes. This happens all the time. Not sure why they don't have the slow mover park and take care of the rest of the line like they do in a fast food line. If I haven't already lost 25 minutes of my life here, I would try and back up the cars piling up behind me and try this again another day. Truly awful service read more

I recently moved to GA had was looking for a Walgreens to get several prescriptions filled. By far the WORST Walgreens when it comes to customer service, efficiency, and convenience. If I'm told my prescriptions will be ready in an hour I will get to the drive through after said hour, WAIT 15 minutes before anyone acknowledges me, and then be told it's another 15-20 until my prescriptions will be ready?? Not once have I seen anyone or myself be be greeted in a friendly manner from the employees. it takes 20 minutes to get ahold of them via phone and they always answer with a pissy attitude. Will be changing pharmacy's.. I like Walgreens but this location and their staff are ridiculously subpar read more

Here's a customer service suggestion.. if I drop off a prescription at 1pm and you tell me i can pick it up at 2:15, and it later turns out you can't fill it til monday, you could 1) call me (you have my phone number), 2) text me (same), 3 email me ( you have my email) or 4) after I make a special trip back to pick it up, at least apologize for not having it. (Even a tepid apology will do.) I will probably go someplace else next time, but I'm sure the next guy would appreciate the same common courtesy. read more

Doesn't even deserve 1 star. Pharmacy has the worst customer service. Spent 20 mins in line at the pharmacy only to be told that the pharmacy staff is going to lunch and I'd have to come back. As a working mom with a sick child this is unacceptable. I would suggest staggering lunch breaks. I'll go across the street to CVS for future business. My time and the health of my family is more important than your lunch break. read more

These guys are epic morons!! Went to the pharmacy, and they quoted me $2,800 for two 15ml bottles of drops for dog eyes. Everywhere else cost $30, but they wasted 40 min of my time, refused to fill my prescription, and they wouldn't accept they were wrong. The pharmacist in charge, a proper POS, must have gotten his degree from Romania at night, by mail. He was reluctant to reprimand his female associate that caused the confusion, even though at the end he coughed up that he will do it later on the back of the store. His wife ought to be there to watch that! He also kept calling me by the name of the vet that signed the prescription, even though I told him that is not my name, no less than 4 times. The "night shift leader" was another beauty. She didn't want anything to do with it. Probably she was busy mopping up the toilet. I don't know how this place stays in business! Do yourselves a favor and stay away, unless you enjoy being surrounded by imbeciles! read more

The drive thru for prescriptions is probably the worst in the country. 30+ minute wait times and this is even before covid-19! No sense if urgency at all while 6-7 cars line up waiting. I always dread coming here to get my prescription refilled. read more

I use to enjoy shopping at this Walgreens .. not anymore .. they need help. They don't have enough employees there. The girl in photo had a nasty look on her eye like she was annoyed with the guy in front of me. Then while waiting on him she could have asked for my last name to move the line but instead she doesn't .. so I quickly run to grab tape and water and she started helping the front check our line. I go to her and ask for help and she made me wait ! I don't fully think it's her fault because they need help but not cool. Learn time management skills honey !! Last week at the pharmacy I picked up my prescriptions and guy told me 15 minutes so I left went to Publix and came back in 30 and I had to wait another 15-20 mins. Get your employees help ! I had just arrived in the area to get passport photos and this Walgreens was the closest one available to my hotel (after driving all night) and open early enough for me to get passport photos done and make it on time to the consulate for my appt. As I walk in to find an employee for assistance I was told that their passport machine doesn't work. After asking a few questions about the area and who if any does passport photos (with a working machine) and being treated 2nd rate I left. I kept my cool but this particular Walgreens was not inviting, was unkempt, and the staff was trash. Glad I don't have to rely on this place to conduct any business, or to buy anything. If I could give a half star for it at least being open early then I would. read more

I just had Total knee replacement surgery this week. The Walgreens on Hammond Dr (which is my wonderful "home store"!) did not have all of the medication that was prescribed by my surgeon. So they dispensed the amount that they had in stock (so that I would have something!) So... on a Saturday, my surgeon called the Walgreens at 5511 chamblee Dunwoody Rd. to send in the prescription for the remaining amount of the original Perscription. Not only did the pharmacy employee (named Stacey) unilaterally decide that he would not fill the remainder of the Perscription - but he refused to give the DOCTOR his last name. Stacey told the doctor that if he wanted to fill the script, "he could call the CVS next door!" Then promptly hung up on my doctor!!! Incredibly unprofessional behavior for a pharmacist to treat a surgeon with such disrespect. Not to mention to ignore a patient that needs meds after a knee replacement. Never again will I use this pharmacy. read more

Complete disaster. Terrible customer service. A lady called Shirley today almost attacked me for not handing her my Id and putting it on counter instead. Another young cashier with a mohawk is also rude and unprofessional in my other unfortunate visits to this branch. My son needed pain meds after reconstructive knee surgery. I asked if they could fill fairly quickly. They said they truly but would take 90 mins. That's ok. I gave up in 2 hours, with my son in pain, and they hadn't started and we're about to close. Really. The woman at the desk said she's try to speed up, but clearly not. This is one of the worst Walgreens pharmacies when comes to customer service. There is always a long line and more often than not no one manning the drop off or pick up desk. I have routinely been promised ready times that are missed. The employees seem overworked and overwhelmed from dealing with irritated customers. Walgreens needs to remind people when to pick up scheduled drugs so they don't expire. I tried to renew one prescription three days ago, called them about the status and they said you have to call your doctor. Do pharmacist no longer pick up the phone or text someone? I already had an appointment with my doctor; but moved it up. We have millions of pounds of fentanyl crossing our southern border yet they worry about someone who has chronic pain and needs to take subscription medication. What a crock. read more

Whew. This place was a bit of a struggle. I've been twice and both times the pharmacy was so crowded and the workers moving at a molasses pace. I was in line 20+ minutes each time and the line probably wasn't more than 4 people. The guy that gave me my prescription (after arguing to himself for 5 mins cause he couldn't find it- finally realized it was refrigerated) was like "okay $35. Oh hold up" and he walked away to talk to someone else. When he came back he said "yeah $35 and uh just like read the directions, ok?" Yeah, thanks for the help. The lady at the front cash register was short and rude. Otherwise- good location, good sales, good stock of items, good job communication when a prescription is ready. This has to be the slowest service ever. No one in line and took 10 mins to be greeted and another 5 to get a prescription. the employee did not even say thank you or anything. She just put the prescription in the slot and walked off. I have been trying to give them the benefit of the doubt because of covid but they were not that much better before. The people at this Walgreens work extra hard to be sure it takes you an extra 20 minutes to get basic things. Don't even think about picking up a prescription without problems. I am at this store for the second time today trying to get same meds that the doctor called in many hours ago, and this is a regular problem here. You'd be better off inventing a new cure than waiting for them to fill a script. This particular time I'm waiting for the manager to tell him or her that this is my last go around and moving all scripts somewhere else. Do yourself a favor and don't go through this with them. My wife and i have used the pharmacy at this location for five years or so. The staff is always courteous and helpful. If a complication arises, they are always quick to call me doctor to clear it up. The drive through service is generally very convenient. There is an occasional long wait but those instances are the exceptions rather than the rule. I'd recommend this location. read more

Pharmacy used to be very professional and efficient. Things have gone WAY downhill. The staff has been replaced by people that flaunt their incompetence and seem to have meager training in health insurance interfacing and medication in general. Time to find a new pharmacy. read more
