If you are a patient here, please scrutinize every invoice you receive very carefully. I could write a book on how many times I've been double billed for a procedure, been charged for a procedure that I shouldn't have been charged for, and finally, an invoice I paid in their office back in April that I continue to receive every month. No one in their billing office can seem to make this problem go away and there's just no excuse for that. I had billing issues with them back in 2019 also. Please, please beware and scrutinize all charges on all invoices you receive from this facility.

Then when Annapath got it, they do nothing and forwarded the sample to another company called AccessGenetics then charged me again for forwarding the sample. I had no frame of reference in finding a dentist, so I recalled the TV commercials I'd seen about Edgewater Dental Arts. Gave them a call, and went in. From the jump everyone was great. I told Doctor Cutting what I was trying to accomplish, and that I was concerned about cost. They did the full workup and treatment plan. Holy S*it. What was recommended was pricey. But it accurately reflected what was needed. Called my CFP, pulled some retirement funds, and took the plunge. I now have a full upper arch of crowns, and the first smile I've been proud of in 50 years. Dr Cutting, Brooke, Kim, Kelsey (sorry if I missed anyone) have made for an outstanding experience. However, this location was so nice because the lovely guy who helped me wasn't pushy or overbearing. We had a nice conversation about what products I like and he made a wonderful suggestion when they were out of the mask I wanted. I was given space but was attended to if needed. That was SO refreshing. The customer service at this location was fantastic. And I found multiple new products that I love. More of this please, LUSH! I will now be a regular at the Annapolis Mall location because it was the most relaxed experience of any LUSH store I've experienced (and I've visited many across the US).

I had recently switched insurance and was unaware that I now needed a referral. I live about 45 minutes away and made the drive to my appointment, only to be told upon arrival that I could not be seen without one. While I understand that insurance requirements are ultimately the patient's responsibility, the situation was frustrating--especially given how far I had traveled. I calmly suggested that, as a best practice, the office consider reminding patients about referral requirements in advance, particularly when that information is available at the front desk. When I asked to speak with someone about this, the office manager, Mary Mee, came out to speak with me. Unfortunately, the interaction escalated quickly. Her tone and body language felt dismissive and abrasive from the start. Rather than acknowledging my frustration, she repeatedly interrupted me and spoke over me. When I tried to respond, she raised her voice and then told me to calm down, which only added to the tension. At no point did I feel heard or that any effort was made to address my concern constructively. To be clear, I was not initially looking to file a complaint--I simply wanted to offer feedback that might help prevent similar situations for other patients. Instead, I left feeling more frustrated than when I arrived. It's disappointing that after a decade as a patient, this interaction led me to take my care elsewhere.
