Amazing Bath & Body Works location! I had placed an an online order for free in-store pick up, and when I came to come pick up my order, I realized that one of the candles I had bought on sale was canceled from the order because it was no longer available. The staff personally helped me pick out a replacement candle so I could get another candle at the deal price even though the deal had ended. I had two employees following me around the store, showing me a different candles and scents, and helping me figure one out. I literally felt like I had princess treatment at this Bath and Body Works they knew I was in a rush, because I had come here in between meetings during my workday, and they helped me get in and out in record time - even in a mall location! 10/10! BOGO free candles always brings me in! They do have a rewards program, but I was never really feeling that. I guess the customers have spoken because they still have the program, but I was sent some coupons to use in the mail, which I know I'm not the only one that was surprised and pleased by this "gift"! With this coupon, I was able to get six candles, of which 3 were BOGO free AND I had a 20% off coupon (along with a free body care $9.95 and under product)! Savings CHA-CHING! The total cost of my purchase with the coupon was around $10.69 a candle (the reg. price is $26.95, which seems to increase each year) Thanks B&BW for the coupons! I was forced to give 1 star. I am giving this store a 0 (zero). I placed an order on a Saturday night. The next at 12:30pm I stopped by the store. I waited in line (5 people ahead of me). I got up to the register and the cashier informed me that I do not have to wait in line for pickup. I provided the cashier my order number, she looked confused, she called the manager. The manager asked me if I received a text or email stating it was ready for pickup. I said no, I was here and just wanted to see if my order was ready. She said well it hasn't been pulled. I said I ordered it last night. She responded "and so did a bunch of other people. I said ok, I will just get the items I ordered and when I get the text that my order is ready I will come back. I never received a text. A few days later I received a text that my order was canceled. I chatted with customer service, they were no help. I was in the store at Arundel Mills, yesterday at 6pm, paying in the register, I have a $60 gift card I was using, and I have a balance left, when I was going to swipe CC for the balance, the cashier told me the computer froze, so she moved to another computer and started all over again, when I was going to swipe my gift card to pay again, balance was zero, they took it and now I can't get the items, they told me to wait until Monday to call customer service, what a joke, is not my fault but I have to fix it, instead of them owning their mistake and try to fix it for the customer, I called yesterday and they told me that they will send a virtual gift card to my email, but I have to wait 3 to 5 business days, it means a week, for something that is not my fault, I check today my gift card still at zero, I called again and was told the same, bad customer service in the store and on the phone. read more

Bath & Body works used to be one of my favorite places to shop. I used to practically live in there. Always loved how they came up every year with the VIP bag. Especially on black Friday. This time they had one available for Mother's Day. Now imagine the scent of mimosas. Ahhhh my favorite brunch drink. The name alone practically sold me. If that didn't you're sure to be sold on the scent. It smelled ravishing good. Now the way the VIP bag works is that if you purchase $30 of products you can purchase the bag for $35.00. This Includes a very cute springtime bag with a snap that would be cute for carrying your everyday items in. The bag items alone inside the bag would total nearly $100. It included two candles. One large and one small. A small hand sanitizer with a cover. One foaming hand soap. One body mist spray. One body wash & one large lotion with a small Shea butter. Everything included was great but somehow on my $30.00 purchase the cashier forgot to put in one of my items which was my small hand sanitizer that I purchased. Now the bag was heavy so I went straight home with it. I realized it then and all though the item only costed me less than $2.00 she was supposed to put it in my bag. I just choked it up as a loss and I'm sure she's probably using it at my expense since it was already paid for just be careful and check your items before leaving. I shouldn't have to do that though. This place is my favorite place to visit! I buy too many things from here However, today my experience was awful because an employee named Francine was being rude with me when I was trying to help her. She started yelling saying "get her out of here" I tried to give the receipt because she couldn't find the price on the item I bought. And instead; she's yelling at me?? Her behavior was unacceptable, very poor, and very unprofessional. The manager needs to speak to her and make sure her attitude is fixed for the other customers. I had avoided this store as a previous visit totally had me miffed at the level of customer service. That has changed and shout out to Gracie who assisted me on my visit on 12/9/17. This store was packed with guys holding wiggling kids, ladies with shopping bags and kids sitting in corners waiting on their family member to finish shopping. I stopped in for the wallflowers that were on promotion and was dreading the long line. Lucky for me, they had a line for customers paying by credit/debit so I was helped quickly. I misread my coupon and my cashier gave me the inside scoop on how to maximize my purchase and found another coupon for me to apply saving me over $20 during this visit. The store layout may change with the seasons but the representatives there are quick to let you know the current promotions, offer a shopping bag even if you popped in to grab that one item and assistance w/sampling of products if you can't decide. This review is solely based on the staff at this location. I had just finished a movie at the cinema around 9pm & was surprised to see some stores still open. As I'm walking into B&BW I asked the guy standing in front what time they close. He annoyingly takes out his cell phone which says 9:21 & he tells me I have 10 minutes. Ok, so you close at 9:30? Nope, they close at 10pm. Look, I've worked retail & I understand how annoying last minute customers can be but the store doesn't close for 40 more minutes so don't tell me to be out in 10. Then while waiting to pay, the line was getting backed up & the 1 cashier asks another associate to jump on the other register to help out. The associate (who is leaning on the back counter on her cell phone) blatantly refuses to get on the register and tells her to call one of the other associates for help. The 2 associates go back & forth arguing with each other, all while the customers stand there & watch. It was horribly awkward. There was 1 very friendly associate that helped me on the floor earlier that came up to hop on the register. If only all of the staff was as nice & willing to assist as she was. Needless to say, training and/or firing is needed at this location ASAP. read more

I stopped shopping at B&BW some time after high school, but since owning a home- I am constantly on the look out for things that will scent my house. I always wait for deals before stocking up on my favorite foaming hand soaps. My favorite scent is any apple (they all smell very similar) and cucumber melon. I definitely stock up on these soaps for the whole year, and wait until they are under $3 to stock up. Last year, I was obsessed with Yankee Candles but I wanted something that I could leave on all day without burning down the house so the wallflower plugs was the perfect solution. They have a great range of scents and the wallflower plugs are beyond adorable (I own 2 plain one that look like flowers from the top, the wreath with red ornaments, and the snowflake). I find the scents to be more fresh and less artificial than the drugstore plug ins. My favorite scent hands down is the cranberry pear bellini which is seasonal product. It has a sour and sweet notes very similar to love spell by Victoria's Secret. I have also tried the winter candy apple which is very nice and leaves (cinnamon pine). I've only been using them for about a month but so far I am in love! I also took advantage of the black Friday and after Christmas sale and was able to buy the wallflowers for around $4 and each bulb at $2. I have two wallflowers plugged in my house, so that's about $60/year to keep your house amazing! B&BW also has a satisfaction guarantee so you bring back any bulbs that you do not like or even broken wallflowers to exchange or return if you still have the receipt. I think this is an exceptional product since one bulb is enough to scent one entire floor of my house for about a month. read more
