Clean store- the staff is usually pretty friendly! Sometimes they're busy and the lines are long but overall pleasant experience!

Had such a wonderful experience at Five Below thanks to Dina! She was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make my daughter happy during our visit on Thursday, May 21. Five Below is a discount chain of stores that offers a variety of items that are priced at $5 or below. They have a nice selection of Marvel, Batman v Superman items, Star Wars collectibles, and TY beanie baby toys. You can also find seasonal items (such as decorations for the holidays, backyard BBQ tools, etc.), crafting supplies, toys, puzzles, games, coloring books, beauty products (lipsticks, eye makeup, etc.), clothing (shirts, graphic tees, etc.), sandals, storage supplies, sports balls, team sports gear, candies, and even items for the phones and the computer (phone cases, chargers, etc.). I was super impressed with this store, as it seems to be one of the best Five Belows I've seen! Pretty large and spacious, the selection was pretty extensive - they seemed to have a lot of home decor items (throw pillows, wall decor, etc.) and a wide candy selection! The items were well-organized and well-stocked, and the staff members were friendly. I've never had a bad experience at this location. Everyone is friendly and helpful and like all Five Below's, they offer a ton of stuff that suit a wide variety of wants and needs. My only complaint would be the checkout line is sometimes a bit long but I guess that just comes with doing a good job if that many people show up to buy things. Definitely worth a look. read more

Bottom Line: A fun, kinda junky store to buy stuff you totally don't need. Five Below is like the Dollar Store for rich people! No, just kidding, I would say its got the same "quality" of products as the dollar store, it just has more variety given the higher price point. All kidding aside, this is a happening place in Severna Park! There are always plenty of people here and my interactions for the staff have been great. I initially went in here just to check it out for funsies but I rarely come out empty handed. Would you believe you can get some practical items here? For instance, I bought some pencils, pens, a ruler and calculator for my home office. Also, you can get fun stuff here like cheap games and my personal favorite, Mad Libs. Ohhh, I also like the huge assortment of cheap gift wrapping and party supplies. And since all home offices need candy, I usually check out the candy stash on my way to the register. None of the items here totally wowed me but I definitely do like checking out the rotating inventory and spending a few bucks to support the Severna Park tax base! read more

2/2/19 went there easy parking, store organized for the most part, store was clean found stuff and of course my kids did too but line was getting kinda long I was wondering why it was only one line open on a Saturday but the line was moving another cashier came to the rescue no complaints cashiers were really nice will go to this location again totally different from Glen Burnie one in a better way read more

This store has only been here about a year; it's clean, easy to navigate and has some good bargains. I usually make my way to a Five Below (there are a number of them in the Balt-Wash metro area) before going to visit the grandkids because the chain has a lot of kid friendly stuff, craft kits, fun t-shirts, toys, books, bright nail polish, fun jewelry, candy, gum, snacks. Plus they do seasonal items for holiday decorations and such. Always something worth bringing home. read more

Great deals for cheap stuff. But I was in the store a couple nights ago with my family and they were trying to close and the very rude girl named Sara was mocking the way my sister was talking right in front of her face. When one of the items didn't work when she was checking out she asked me to grab another one and Sara grabbed the item that didn't work out of my sisters hand and said "let me just scan this on so we keep this thing rolling." RUDE RUDE RUDE. If I owned the 5 Below in SP I would fire Sara immediately and find someone who enjoys life just a little bit. read more

This is an awesome store! It has fun toys for kids and has cards and party favors for special events! It also has some pretty good graphic tees and clothing and stuff that is as seen on tv that is usually $20 that is $5! Totally would recommend this 5B store. read more

I never do this, but this is the experience I had here actually convinced me to sign up and write a review. I've been to three other five belows in the area, this is, by far, the most poorly-managed, disorganized, out-of-stock and annoyingly RUDE store I've ever been to, five below or not. My daughter and I just came from a wet, rainy and miserable softball game AND a long drive to visit family, and the experience had left us ready to start smiling because it was over. We started over to the socks section to find half the shelves spilled out onto the floor. There was no way we were going to sort through all of this just to find her a good pair. Half the home furnishings were either dented, unreachable or out of stock. She saw a bank that she wanted from another store. It wasn't here. We tried to sample the incense. Guess what? Not here. She tried to make the best of the situation and browse for a cheap, plastic gift kit, but it was blocked by a wall of boxes, where I saw one of the employees chatting out personal details to her customer buddies. We asked if she could move it and she waved us off. Telling us "one sec" and disappearing into the back room. The candy, up front, was basically jenga'd on top of one another and falling off the shelves. I asked to speak to the manager up front and the one who waved us off showed up (After five, long, lengthy minutes) and I was shocked this person was a manager. THE STORE MANAGER to be exact, and the minute I heard the news I dropped my purchase and we both walked off angry. Actually, I could believe it, because the quality of this store was the worst shopping experience I ever had. read more

Solid place to pick up a quick present for your kid without spending too much mad loot.

We had a really negative experience with the manager of this Five Below. There was a mix up with our debit card where our card was accidentally held by one of her newer employees. We called in the next day to see if they had the card, and the manager immediately responded over the phone, "no." We came by later that night to double-check that they did not have the card, but they turned out to actually have the card. Because we didn't have an ID and the correct person with us at the time, she would not provide the card. While the owner of the card rushed to the store to get the card, the manager rushed her employees out of the door, and would not wait 2 minutes for the card's owner to arrive. The lack of flexibility on the manager's part (despite it being largely their error), and the lack of an apology for misinforming us earlier that day or for holding the card in the first place, proved the manager's lack of character and sympathy. read more
