Absolute bottom of the barrel worst pharmacy you can ever go to, they dont answer calls period. Just go in person and listen to the phone ring. They DO NOT fill meds, you literally have to go in person wait in line tell them to fill it because they refuse to do it on their own, via text, call(they dont answer) or via app. Just about any method. Horrible customer service and some of them are downright rude. They do not give half a dog turd about you and make you stand like idiots. It takes seconds to hand medication out how do i know, because when they actually take care of customers, the interactions of a pickup are typically 1-2 mins. They refuse to just handout medications and will take hrs to do god knows what, I am in line right now have been for one hour and for 30 mins NOT A SOUL was behind the counter doing god knows what. read more

I went through the drive thru. there were 2 people in front of me but it didn't take very long at all. two technicians assisted me and both were kind, efficient, and helpful. idk what all these other people are on about. my qualm is with the status update system. my prescription was sent at 10am and I was checking my status online after that and I started calling around 11 to check on the status. it's an automated program and it just kept telling me they were still working on the prescription, and that they'd be in contact with me when it was ready. online it kept saying "in progress." I finally just went around 3:30 and it was ready for me as soon as I got to the window. I actually got a call from Walgreens while I was checking out where they told me it was ready. it may have been coincidental but I feel like I could've picked up my prescription way earlier if it weren't for their status system. but that's probably a larger Walgreens issue. read more

Absolutely the worst pharmacy I've even been to. Not only are their store hours ridiculous and you have to wait on hold a minimum of 30 minutes when you call but today the pharmacist refused to fill my prescription, even after the doctor called and spoke to them. They made me jump through so many hoops for 3 days to get this filled and then at the last minute refused to fill it. I have so many strong words I wish I could say to Miss Ahmed (sp?) the pharmacist. Your desire to be on a power trip should never become more important than patient care. They did not have the prescription in stock I was prescribed. They are terrible and slow. The workers mope around with no enthusiasm making it a poor waiting environment. They take 2/3 days to fill a prescription that was sent over and the doctor office says should be ready in a hour or so. They need to step their game up for sure!!! read more

My mother had a prescription called in by the St Joes ER last night at 10pm, I went to pick it up today at 3pm, had to wait in line for an hour to be told the prescription was not ready I guess they do not fill it until you show up. They told me the prescription would be ready in an hour, just annoying. While I was waiting in line there was a prescription from another customer that could not be found but a they received a phone call at 3am that it was. There was also another customer what had already been waiting 40+for her pain meds to only be told that they had run out of that med. Truly poor customer service! read more

Absolutely the poorest organized pharmacy I have ever been to. Traveling through town, had an accident broken arm and wrist. They "reluctantly" filled prescriptions, as I humiliated myself going inside (they would answer the drive through) in my PJ's. The pharmacist was uncaring and rude at best. I had to wait and was treated as if I was an inconvenience. My accident left me with the inability drive (10 hours home) soI had to find someone to drive me, AND I need more medication. My primary sent in a script, and because I am a member I could check my script online. It said it was ready but waiting for insurance, when they knew from my prior visit I pay out of pocket for scripts. When I took a chance to go and pick it up - I was lied to ver and over to my face. The pharmacist first said I needed to have primary call and verify the electronic prescription, did that and then they said I also seemed to have the physician send another electronic scrip. The pharmacist said they were waiting for the electronic script and I called my physician and she said they hadn't even been able to get through to the pharmacy at that time.LIES! The update on my Walgreens file was that it was under review. My physicians office called back and Walgreens told them they can't fill it over state lines (CA/OR)?. So they lied over and over and more importantly I am in excruciating pain which could,d have been taken care of with more compassion and kindness. The new President of Walgreens will hear about this disgusting store. Don;t waste your time-go someplace where you will be treated kindly. read more

The pharmacy blew off my appointment for a vaccine. What part of "appointment" do they not understand? And this is the second time I attempted to get the vaccine. The first time, they waited until I got to the counter to tell me they had "run out." Since they take your phone number and e-mail when you register, would it be too much to ask for the courtesy of being notified if they don't intend to keep the appointment? We frequented this Walgreens for about a year, specifically for the pharmacy. The pharmacy was and still is the most difficult entity to deal with. More often than not they have been delayed filling prescriptions, Running out of medications, or simply unable to process a prescription accurately to the point where every interaction seems to be a chaotic circle of phone calls with the pharmacy, insurance company, and doctors- no matter who the doctor is. It seems very unorganized and have heard fellow customers in like voice similar frustrations. Additionally, they were often also out of vaccines, after scheduling an appt for vaccines, they advised me when I came in that they were out of what I requested, and they would call me when they got more in. They never followed up on any phone calls- I instead went to Safeway, walked in and got a vaccine the same day- the same vaccine that Walgreens said no one in the county had. So all in all I have yet to have a solid transaction with Walgreens pharmacy and have since taken my business elsewhere. If you're looking for a pharmacy, try something like ExpressScripts or Costco instead. read more

Forgot to update this but just seen someone had reacted to the old review. They kept saying the prescription wasn't in the system but the doctor said it was. I ended up having to go back the next day for the prescription. I called ahead and they said it was done and when I arrived over 30 minutes later it wasn't ready and I had to wait for it. Don't ever send your prescriptions for this Walgreens. I think they get slammed with prescriptions and have a hard time filling them. My wife and I have had our Prescriptions filled at Walgreens for a number of years, mainly because our Part D insurance required that we use Walgreens. But that all changed when our insurance company changed. At first we just stuck with Walgreens, but then their parent company, Walgreens Bootstrap, caved in to Republican lawyers and decided they would cease to fill prescriptions for abortion drugs to women in 22 US states. We wrote a notorised letter to the store and pharmacy managers, telling them that because of their parent companies policies, we would no longer do business with them. That was in April. Since then, Walgreens has repeatedly attempted to fill our prescriptions and billed our insurance. This results in our ordering prescriptions at our new pharmacy, having them be told by insurance that they were already filled, the new pharmacy then having to call Walgreens to have them reversed, and, yada, yada, yada. I followed recently with a post to Walgreens Facebook wall, a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, and now, Yelp. Don't do business with Walgreens. They have no respect for your wishes. read more

Love this Walgreens location! BE VERY CAREFUL with the Heavy set Blonde Lady that works nights...she likes to steal your change and act like nothing happened. Went in the other day and there is another heavy build younger girl with super black hair that likes to DOUBLE charge single items and then if you have an online receipt they make it seem like it's almost impossible and such an inconvenience to give you a refund. I've been waiting for over half an hour at the drive though window to pick up a prescription. I was told someone would be right with me, if i had known I would have been sitting here forever I would have turned off my car engine and not wasted gas. I try to be understanding because i know it can get difficult if you're short staffed, but come on 30+ minutes while i watch people on the inside line get helped smoothly is insane. My son has a raging ear infection and his Dr. called in a RX for antibiotics on Tuesday, I went in directly from the appt. and the pharmacy said they had received the RX and would process it and it would be ready in about 20 minutes....2 days later it has still not been filled. I called the pharmacy and after being on hold for 23 minutes was told that they have the RX and will process it and should be ready in 45 minutes. I told them they said the same thing 2 days ago and she said "sorry you fell through the cracks." Meanwhile my poor son is miserable. I will definitely be switching pharmacies asap and would not recommend anyone go to the Harris/Harrison location. read more

My son sat at Walgreen's Pharmacy on Harris, in the drive-thru for 45 minutes and the man in the window gave him a hard time about his last name being different than ours (Insurance is under my name & through my work). Meanwhile, there was a guy behind him honking and yelling at him. The Pharm Tech was rude and not helpful. Our insurance covers 100% of our prescriptions. Our whole family used to get our monthly prescriptions from this Walgreen's but they couldn't get those correct so after hours of my time and several months of trying to get the situation resolved, I moved the whole family to Rite Aid. We have never had a problem since! I called the Pharmacist and let him know what happened and his response was "I was at lunch and things happen. It is, what it is. I cannot control what doesn't get done when I am not here!" He was completely unapologetic and didn't care at all. He also told me that my son could've paid cash and been reimbursed by insurance later (yeah, like 60 days later!). That's absurd to tell a customer that when our insurance pays 100% for our prescriptions (that's why I have this job) and your employees just DON'T want to do their jobs!! I will NEVER step foot into another Walgreen's again! Such terrible service... make them do their jobs! read more

Cautions using Walgreens for Covid/travel testing. Testing submitted Saturday morning, still no results (Aegis). Called Walgreens on Monday due to Tuesday travel, they couldn't confirm when the test was picked up by FedEx and referred me to Aegis website. The "requisition" number did not show received until this morning (finally) and is showing it's being processed. Calling Aegis customer service is of no assistance. Family member tied up in HI, not able to get rental car, dealing w/ airport staff to at least get approved into the Airbnb. Husband is vaccinated (weeks ago) and has proof of testing. We used CVS in the past, easy peasy. They use an app that accesses results, provides QR code, and completed in two days. read more

I have used Walgreens my entire life to fill prescriptions, such as my Asthma inhalers. Since moving to Humboldt, it is clear that I will need to fill my prescriptions elsewhere if I ever want to get my medication. They cannot figure out how to process a common insurance company, claiming my insurance is denying my prescription. They send a fax to the doctor to approve, he does, and insurance calls me and says it has been approved. I resubmit the prescription request, select my pickup date and time, and when I arrive, they are still saying my prescription is not covered. I call my insurance, and they say not only did they approve it, but they sent the information about it's approval to Walgreens. I get put on hold while the agent calls Walgreens directly, and later tells me it is sorted out and they are processing the refill immediately so I can go pick it up. I wait in line (for nearly an hour, again), and they say IT'S OUT OF STOCK. I am so mad, they've already had over a week to order it, but they said they won't order ahead due to concerns about their profit margin (insert eye roll), but they will have it in stock tomorrow. Fast forward, it has been nearly a full business week since that encounter, and I received another automated call from Walgreens notifying me that my prescription is STILL delayed because they are out of stock. Clearly I will have to take my health else where or I will never get my inhaler. read more

Well I quit using their pharmacy years ago. Sounds like it hasn't improved. My gripe is that two of the cashiers seemed to understand how online clipped coupons work, one did not, and the assistant manager had no idea at all. She told me there was nothing she could do and to contact Walgreens online. Yea right. One of the cashiers later explained to me the coupon discount doesn't show up until you've paid. Pissy assistant manager didn't know that and when my frustration was stated (in appropriate terms), she bailed and said she was going to lunch. And they don't keep advertised products stocked up. Otherwise I like their products and sales! And most of the employees on the floor are really nice. read more
