I've never been inside the building: I have no idea what the staff is like or if the store itself is clean. I just come here for gas. Before it's big renovation I would have NEVER come here because of its location. But it seems like since this Cumby has been updated, there's *much more* space to navigate in and out of the parking lot safely and easily (although I'd never turn left into it from Ocean Ave; I always make sure I'm turning right from Washington in). I seem to always be able to immediately pull up to a pump without having to wait in line. In and out? Yes!

There really is nothing that much different about this little place where it is similar to any other convenience store but the folks here are super friendly and super nice. Every single time I come in they always spark up some conversation with you and brighten your day but not in a creepy and annoying way that most might find early in the morning grabbing a quick bite in the morning. They offer breakfast sandwiches, pizza slices and burgers to go along with all of the typical fares from a gas station/convenienece store. The only part that I dislike about this place is the price of gas compared to other parts of the state. I know it being in Falmouth makes it tougher because most everything in that sity is super expensive but, you could drive about 5 miles away toward Portland or South Portland and save about 10-15 cents sometimes. The pizza - Soppresatta was packed with flavor, salty, spicy, little sweet from a touch of honey and a very fresh, slightly punchy sauce - keeps some acidity and tastes lively. The crust was delicious, from what I read, this is a sourdough crust. Definitely had some good character and flavor to it.. I got this heated before eating it. The vegan special - obviously I'm not vegan, but that pizza looked phenomenal. Had to try it. This one did not get heated up as it was suggested to leave it cold (logical considering it basically has a salad on top). I don't know what the vegan cheese was but it tasted like a whipped ricotta/goat cheese would. The fresh tomato, pickled peppers and red onion all played perfectly together. They also sell liquor and had a decent variety of beer / hard seltzer to choose from. They also have a limited selection of wine plus everything else you would expect to find at CVS.

The store itself is I think the best on the peninsula (some of the others are, ahem, not so nice), and the staff is always friendly and will go out of their way to help you find things you need. And I *love* the pharmacy here! My prescriptions are always filled within a day or two (sometimes even the same day after being called in), and all of the staff doing vaccinations is terrific. Recently they called me to check up on upcoming boosters I needed to schedule, which I really appreciate, and they'll walk you through any info you might need about side effects. Drugstores are one of those things we sometimes don't give much thought to, but when you find a good one like this, you definitely want to keep coming back.
