I'm always impressed with Walgreens employees and the training they must commit to. Last night Paige exceeded my expectations ten-fold. I was at the Timberline store in Fort Collins and Paige was direct, professional and kind. She let me know they had one "filler" and they were behind. She asked me to remind her in 25 minutes if I hadn't heard my name called. I waited 30+ minutes. I'm in between homes (of 70 miles apart). She said she understood a long commute, went and spoke to the Pharmacist and had my script pushed through. Paige was compassionate, kind, apologetic, empathic and the epitome of professional. Don't even bother. Doesn't matter if you have an appointment or not they make you wait in line. I have been here over an hour and still waiting and I arrived at my appointment time. Go some where else if you actually value having an appointment and need to be in and out. This is beyond ridiculous. This is for the Walgreens at 2268 E harmony road. Update it took till 1 hour and 25 min after my appointment time before I got what I was there for. There is no value in having an appointment here they don't honor it. read more

This Walgreens is so inefficient. The prescriptions take forever to fill and the lines are always backed up. Hire more people and stay open more hours. I'm considering changing all my prescriptions to a different provider. read more

I had my hip go out of joint today. Extremely beyond belief painful. I left ER at 11am with instructions that my pain pills would be ready shortly at my pharmacy. This pharmacy. I called at 12:30. "We haven't received the prescription yet. ". Really???? That's not what the hospital told me.... I waited until 4pm... "we received your prescription and are working on it" call back in an hour.... I called back at 6pm...same message. I called back at 7:35.... Finally got through to the pharmacy... "Oh said the pharmacist boringly, we should try have it by 11am tomorrow". I just wish that pharmacist has a really painful situation some day in his boring life where he is practically screaming with pain.... And they delay his prescription for more than 24 hrs. I hope he will have a really miserable night, like I am going to have tonight. Thank you Walgreens's for your incompetence. This will be the last prescription I ever get from you. read more

12 minutes on hold, and then she couldn't hear me and hung up. I know my phone works fine because the phone system heard me just fine and connected me to the pharmacy. I wouldn't mind so much calling back if it wasn't such a long wait.... again.... "We're sorry to keep you waiting, our staff is answering other calls. There are more than 3 callers ahead of you." I've used their computer system to do refills and it doesn't always work so I prefer to speak to a real person. Drive-thru has 2 lanes but usually only 1 staff member helping both lanes. Everyone is nice, however, once you finally get to speak with them. read more

To me, Walgreens should be a drugstore, first and foremost. Apparently, they have forgotten how to do that. My dentist called in a prescription for antibiotics for me about three hours ago. I just drove by to pick it up, and the guy at the drive-up window said "We have no record of this prescription". This is just typical, and something I had forgotten about Walgreens. My dental office left the message on Walgreens answering machine. I'd guess that they simply do NOT check their messages regularly. I mean, if that's your JOB and you can't remember to do it, wouldn't you fix the problem? Set an alarm every fifteen minutes to remind yourself! But that's OK . . . it's not 9 P.M. as it usually would be, so I've been able to have my dentist call the script into Target . . . a little harder for me to get to, but I'll bet they have it ready when I walk up. read more

Stopped in here after checking into the Hilton Garden Inn. The cold, wintry, dry mountain air made me realize I needed some moisturizing lotion. Picked up some hydration supplies - a couple of tubes of Walgreens brand hand lotion (basically their version of the Vaseline hand lotion), plus some Gatorade to hydrate my insides. Really good customer service - was asked my a couple different clerks if I needed help finding anything. And when a long line suddenly formed at the register - two more registers quickly opened to process the line. Convenient and close to the Hilton Garden Inn... read more

Pharmacy sucks! Never have enough help! Hire more people, duh!!! You'll wait hours for your prescription and then wait forever in line. And, they'll just randomly close the entire store early some days....as early as 3:00! Go anywhere else. read more

One of the workers with short blonde hair (may have been a manager) that works during the evening is VERY racist. Had us followed around the store after we walked in, telling the other worker "they have a problem" when we were walking around, gave us attitude and told us we were deflecting when some random people told her our baby was left in the car when he wasn't (just a very fussy baby after a long day of softball games). There is ALWAWS a reason why they have not processed our prescriptions. Always a lack of supply. Always waiting for pre-authorization. Always "I can"5'find your prescription". Always the Doctor..... in short, the chances of them getting quantity, insurance and processing right are next to ZERO. This isn't just one bad experience. It's consistent ridiculous clown act kind of stuff. We have tons and tons of high-quality insurance. Double coverage, even triple coverage for some of our family. Still problems. Even the insurance company people pick up on the lack of quality here. Now... alternatives? None that we've found in town. Amazon.... Hurry up with your prescription services! Please. read more

This Walgreens is the best in town. Unfortunately I had to switch pharmacies a few years ago due to insurance. I recently came back with my parents who need help getting in and out of the car to get their flu shots. I was reacquainted with Brian who was so kind to my elderly parents. He even remembered that I was from Wisconsin! It reminded me why I like this pharmacy so much. Thanks to the entire staff too for helping my parents with their meds! :-) read more

Our initial experience was OK but not exceptional. The service in the cosmetics department is exceptional other than that, service is hit or miss. In the store I have encountered one employee who is consistently rude and there are a couple other employees that have poor customer service skills. In the pharmacy the tech turnover is high and after three years of doing business there, only three or four of them recognize us. That is not as much of a problem as; not getting pharmacist consultations on new medications, twice now saying that the doctor had not sent e-prescriptions when I was in the doctor's office and witnesses him send it, and now three times when they say a prescription is too early to refill when I am filling the medset and the medication is used up. In conclusion, I would not recommend this location for anything other than cosmetics and personal hygiene products. If you do fill a narcotic there, demand they count it in your presence! read more

I came here because I had a Fedex package to pickup. I had friendly efficient service and there was even somehow to help me get this heavy box to my car. I really appreciated that because I was a little stressed out wondered how I was going to get this into my trunk. I returned to pick up some hair products and I was extremely impressed by the wide selection. I usually go to the beauty salon type stores because I don't expect Walgreens to carry much. Well, I'm wrong and this is going to be my go-to store from now on. Not only for the selection, but because there was also someone who came up to me asking if I needed help. I love this service! On top of that, I found all my supplies for the winter for my car! It's awesome this place had EVERYTHING I needed and it saved me driving to two other places. Check out was slow and I think the check out person could have put a little bit more thought into the bagging process. If I don't have a cart to get my stuff to the car, why would you not put as much as you can in bags? So I had to ask to have my things bagged. In spite of this, I will be back because the other ladies who helped me are very customer focused and attentive. read more

My prescriptions are usually ready before I leave the doctors office and the other night I saw him fill my prescription in front of me. They have also filled a prescription after alerting me that they were closing in several minutes, again filling the prescription with me within ear shot. I am amazed simply put. In most cities I've been my prescriptions are filled in an hour, and in small towns 15 minutes. I have never had my prescription filled in front of me or before I left the doctor before using this location. They have my loyal support. read more

Walgreens at Taft and Drake in Fort Collins Colorado has gotten so much better. This year I've noticed a complete turnaround from the previous years poor customer service. Compassion and a desire to assist a customer in the pharmacy department was missing. I witnessed and experienced rude and unfriendly customer service. I finally had to write a positive update regarding the entire store. This year has been a pleasant experience shopping at my local Walgreens. From the cashier's to the pharmacy workers seem to be more friendly all the around. I especially want to thank Matt last week around the 1st of June 2019 in the Pharmacy who took the time to coordinate a fix to the mix up on my prescription with another pharmacy and my doctor. A few phone calls was required and all the time Matt assured me he was happy to help and assured me it would soon be ready for pick up. It was and his wonderful demeanor made me forget about the entire issue. The smiles at the check out and the entire pharmacy staff make the Walgreen's a great place to do your pharmacy shopping. Stop in check out the crew and say hi especially to Matt in the Pharmacy. I think then you will be pleased to have found a pharmacy that provides outstanding customer service. This pharmacy is really the worst I have ever experienced. I really didn't even want to give one star! The pharmacy staff has always been extremely rude and unhelpful. I tried to make it work as it was a convenient location but I am throwing in the towel! Tonight's horrible experience just did me in. The worker pretty much bit my head off and went off in a rant when I asked her a question on how long was a normal wait time for a prescription took to be filled. It was a sincere question. I did not ask it rudely. I just wanted to understand after she told me I would need to come back in the morning to pick up my prescription. It was within the time frame I have gotten prescriptions refilled before and it was only me there. I'm telling you it was unreal. I would give her the benefit of the doubt, bad day etc... if I hadn't already been treated so rudely by her and others in the past. There is absolutely no customer service. I am a little tired of the excuse of being short staffed too. There were no other customers there! She threw all sorts of excuses except the one that probably was the truth. It was towards the end of the day and she didn't want to do it. My past pharmacies even when they were swamped took around 15-30 min. They really have no customer service. I have had so many problems with this pharmacy I cannot believe I have stuck with them as long as I did. So if you have a bad experience get out quick it doesn't get any better. read more

Jenna, who works at this pharmacy, needs better phone skills. If a customer calls with a question, that she's already told them the answer to earlier in the conversation, NEVER say in a loud voice, or even otherwise, "THAT'S WHAT I ALREADY SAID!" to a customer. Perhaps the customer is older, has a harder time hearing, &/or feels anxious because it's very important they get their prescription filled in time. However, the rest of the staff has always been polite and accommodating. read more

The pharmacy staff and photo technicians at this store have been particularly rude on more than one occasion. As a professional in the community, it is has felt very insulting and uncalled for. It appears that the management of this store does not send a clear message of correct customer service to its employees. The Harmony Road Walgreens is NOT my first choice when needing to get prescriptions filled or submitting photos for pick up, but sometimes it's location is more convenient. read more
