Ill never go back to this branch...i ws trying to load my prepaid crd for my bill payments n theres this old employee whos being a "knows it all" was like trying to lecture me (in a very condescending tone) tht theres a limit of $500 which i told him thats per transaction n he replied like " i know how this work n its the federal law blah blah blah" n he lectured me that it takes awhile to appear in the card...i told him that ive been doing this for more than a year n what u said is wrong! Its per transaction n my limit for cash load per day is $3000! He insisted that m wrong...i dint argue anymore n just let him finish the transaction that took him forever! hes rude! Walgreens, u need to teach ur employees the right customer service manners n product knowledge bec it's ridiculous that its bec they're seniors, they know everything n they're right when theyre not esp in cashier that customers ask them only to find out that the information they provide is wrong! Pharmacy is poorly staffed and said staff is undertrained on insurance policy and procedure. Furthermore their system frequently crashes so even if they show a received prescription order they cannot fill it until their computer unfreezes. In other words a robot could do their job seeing as they have no real Authority as human beings. Prepare for a long wait. read more

I do not like this walgreens. One time I had a prescription for some medication and they lost it! Isn't it funny how I talked to the same pharmacist for my prescription and she said that I never talked to her before. This place is the worst walgreens ever. If you want a better palce to go, go at rite aid on hesperian or the walgreens. I would not recommend coming here. read more

This place is ok. Only thing, there are always people hanging out in the front...where you gotta check and make sure your car doors are locked. The manager ( I think ) is always in the front greeting people is nice. The only downfall I have about this place is one of the cashier..she's a heavyset older woman w/short hair who never seems to be in a good mood. Poor service. read more

so today i came to this walgreens about 2 hours after my prescription was put in by the emergency room for me and about 30 mins after my son's prescription was put in for my son when we got up to the register hai the technician said neither one was ready and would take hours it seem like there understaffed i asked to be transferred to the pharmacy on hesperian that seems on there stuff she gave me an attitude and wanted me to go sit down i said no i waited in line and would like to stand here and that i would be writing a review that's when she started trying to help and realized we where transferring here from out of town i believe 1. she could of handled this better before i said i was writing a review 2. the go sit down because didn't want to deal with us and was going to have us wait anyway was rude. 3. this location just seems to be overwhelmed maybe there load is to much maybe this location should be shut down and transfer to a bigger newer one that can handle the load read more

this is the worst walgreens in hayward, slow checkout's sometimes you will have 10 or customers wating in line. its ghetto as hell. you can only get $20 back at the register. if you want cash back. pharmacy sucks. you can be waiting up to 3 hours for a prescription. every time something good goes on sale. and its in the paper. good luck getting usually they are sold out. rude employees, have a idiot by the doors watching for people stealing, the camera section sucks and they really overcharge. read more

This review is solely for the pharmacy: I come here to pick up my prescriptions, at least two to three times a month. The line is sooo long and it's always so long. The clerks work hard to get you in and out. But for some reason, I always leave that place annoyed because of the wait time. read more

This place at least the times i go there it can be clean some things are out of stock and dont even think about going to the toy section its always disorganized and toys all over the floor. Now thats only half the reason why i gave this place a 2 the lines here are horrible i can be standing in line just to pick up the my medicine and at least 30 mins will go by before the line even moves and theres only usually 1 person there which sucks no matter what time you get there even when it opens up to pick up your meds the line is always to the end of the aisle and the people who shop here are hella ghetto they will literally push you out the way weather your pregnant have kids or old just so they can get ahead of you in line and if you dont watch yourself they will cut in line a lot of times i almost started a fight cuz of it. Well if you dont like to be called out then dont do it. And the workers there just pass by as if nothing is happening. You have to yell at mangers just so they can open up another line for you and half the time youll be there a good hour either standing in line or waiting for your meds to stand in line again I really try to avoid this place unless its just one item if my kids are sick or something and its late at night but other then that my business goes to kiser or at the other Walgreens store off of Mowry read more

Always long lines. When you call, you can never get through to photo dept when you call. Expect to be on hold for well over 20 min.

Everything says they close at midnight... I stopped in a at 11:10 and they were already closed... they should look into fixing this problem.

Even 1 star is being generous. The people in the shop are super rude with zero customer service. I was browsing the isle looking for a few things and this Indian lady kept following me. The second time I went (after they reorganized all of their isles), I asked one of the Indian man where I could find hand wash, and he started yelling at me, 'in the corner, check the corner'. When we moved to Hayward, I decided to fill our prescriptions at this location. Since then I have always dreaded going to Walgreens. Not only are you guaranteed to wait for 20 minutes to pick up your prescription but this store really doesn't offer anything else. Not only is the store itself kind of run down but the selection is limited and the employees are not very welcoming. The security guard at the front also never makes me feel saver but rather highlights my gut feeling to turn around and go somewhere else. read more

The pharmacy is super slow it will take you forever to get your medication. Probably will take you next year to even get your medication.

Walgreens is one of my other places to shop for a great savings starting Sunday through Saturday!! This is the place that I would shop while I'm balling on a budget. LOL I come by at least once or twice a week to make my daily purchases and also to rent Redbox movies when I have discount cards to applying. I like that they have clipper card service that you can add money on your clipper card for Bart AC transit Muni and any other transportation options that you may need. As for the parking lot it's very crowded over here and it's always busy. I figure they get a lot of business because they're are lots of homes an apartment complexes in the nearby neighborhood. The Walgreens employees are so very helpful when you can not locate what you want. If they don't have what you need on the shelves more than likely you get asked for a rain check. So today I'm giving Walgreens four stars for having savings and coupons to clip from the online website!! read more

If I could give it a zero I would....okay here goes I am from this area where the Walgreens is it used to be Russell Supermarket with an nice Pharmacy there now it is so darn ghetto. People race thru the parking lot like its the freeway the parking stalls are so small then you have all the creepy people either standing right in your way or just looking at you pathetic waiting to see if you drop something ughh it's terrible. The main reason I don't like it is that they have treated my sick brother like crap when he used to get his med's there. He is dying literally and they suck in the pharmacy and what gets me is that they are a sponsor at the SF AIDS Walk but yet they treat sick dying people like crap..........there so lucky I was not with my brother the day they were mean to him or I would not be posting this from my room instead I would probably be posting this from my jail cell.....seriously. I'm so mad the cashier, African lights skin woman missed count my change, claimed she had handed it ALL to me but I only got .80 cents in coins. I happen to like this Walgreens is not as fixed up as others but really does that make a difference the employees great you they always help me if I can't find an item. One time I dropped my bag and broke the blush I just bought and the manager Mek was very nice he even let me get a new one free of charge and this has happened to me at a nicer Walgreens and they have made me pay for my milk again Omg ....
