Excellent customer service is hard to come by. I remember my first visit at this Walgreens store at Woodlake Square 4 years ago. It was about the same today. I don't shop here often was because of traffic during the day. I was just over at Kroger Fuels finishing my pumping and saw this store nearby. I knew exactly where to make my left turn. After Covid-19 pandemic started, the mall is not the same as I remembered. But inside of Walgreens store is always nice and clean. I wish there were some sanitizing wipes in the dispenser because the basket handles felt little sticky. I immediately used my handy hand sanitizer to rub my hands. The prices are much higher than Chinatown. But I'm here for service. Although store was nicely stocked but I can't find everything I need. Cashiers were friendly, so did the customers. They were greeted tirelessly at everyone walked in, while maintaining their composure with me. That's excellent customer service!!! read more

I was doing some FIFA Merch shopping inside Walgreens today and wasn't greeted at all upon walking inside. Wasn't acknowledged during my browsing. The first greeting was from an extremely rude lady named Melissa yelling orders at me like she was my mother or some authority figure over me. She's telling me I can't pickup the shirts and look at them, I said "so how do I know what I'm purchasing if I can't look at what I'm about to buy" she shrugged her shoulders like she don't give a damn, like I was just an insignificant human in her store bothering her. I'm sure FIFA gave Walgreens official merch to sell in your store so you could run people away from buying it yea that's it. The lady Melissa is a clown and needs to learn customer service she should be sent back to training to learn how to talk to customers not talk AT customers. If you can't provide customer service where it is REQUIRED in your job title then find some other way to support your livelihood. It ain't my fault you look at people and misjudge what items they're able to afford, I pull in way more revenue than your little Walgreens gig, STAY MAD MELISSA HAHAHAHAHA. I recommend shopping anywhere but this location. I went to a nearby location and still found everything I wanted plus interacted with people that take their job seriously and understand how human interaction is supposed to go... smoothly! I was standing in line around 6:50 pm and there was 2 customers ahead of me, a man standing to side kindly gestured to the lady ahead of me if he could step in front, he then showed his phone to the cashier/manager, the cashier rudely responded with an aggressive tone"sir you have to go the pharmacy for that and get in line, everybody here is waiting." When it was my turn I asked him if he was the manager and I asked him if that's how he treats all his customers, he proceeded to tell me how rude the customer was, the customer clearly didn't speak English. He spoke to me so rude, I then told him I didn't want to talk to him anymore and to let me pay, he said "bye." I stepped to the side and started helping the customer and the manager was bad mouthing me and the customer to the gentleman that was behind me. I love this Walgreens. Lines are never long. People are very helpful. At super super super close to me so I can literally walk there whenever I need something last minute. It's the only Walgreens that I go to! Lol It's in a safe area. There's ample parking and the inside is super clean and organized. I also like the sales that they have. I can grab a whole bunch of stuff that's marked down and they usually have a good selection of it read more

I rarely do business with Walgreens anymore because 1. They usually are lacking in customer service and 2. because I prefer to support our local pharmacies. I moved all my prescriptions to Briargrove on San Felipe. Briargrove has quit supplying one of the meds I take, so I called this Walgreens at 9600 Westheimer. The people there were awesome! They helped me with my prescription, and I continue to have that one filled there. I would give this location 5 stars, but because of the location at the corner of Westheimer and Voss being so awful, I'm only giving 4 stars to Walgreens overall. I purchased a few frozen food products here and didn't notice the best by date until I was home. Two of six items were expired. One by about a month, and one over a year! So they definitely don't rotate inventory when restocking, and of course no one cares. Store employees don't care about doing their job and Walgreens doesn't care if they do or not. Nor do they care about customer service or satisfaction. I've contacted them on two separate occasions and no response. I am sorry, but this location has become the pits. I transferred from CVS and I am starting to regret. They honestly try to rush you off the phone without even hearing the need so they can affectively address the concern. My biggest thing is that they do not answer the phone. I have been calling for days about trying to see if they still have a medication on the shelf. The pharmacy staff was so helpful. THEY ROCK!!! This isn't our normal pharmacy. I had to come to this part of town and had time to kill. After filling my daughter's prescription, they couldn't find the insurance at the first attempt. But one of the pharmacy technicians patiently waited while I was on the phone with our human resources department, health insurance, and finally with our pharmacy insurance company. After all those phone calls, I was able to get her prescription filled and with our proper insurance copay. Thank you for being so helpful and patient! The service at the drive through pharmacy is the worst I've ever experienced. As a customer I'm rarely greeted, not served in the order of arrival and no comments from staff once I receive my prescription. The line is not long but the staff seem more concerned about everything except customer service in the drive through. read more

After waiting in line for 5 minutes due to zero employees being at the register an older female employee finally decided to check in on the line forming, at the front of which was a short haired androgynous appearing and or queer girl. My Girlfriend and I were further back in line (and are very obviously lesbians she's butch I'm not) as soon as the androgynous girl left the store the employee turns, leans over the counter, looks at us and the rest of the line and asks (VERY loudly) 'was that a boy or a girl?!?' and she kept bringing it up. That behavior was extremely disrespectful and offensive. That unprofessional behavior left a horrible taste in my mouth. Were we too mocked and laughed at after we left the store? Not to mention the product we bought come to find out was marked as damaged and put back on the shelf for some reason (Walgreens brand Icy Hot with no roller ball in it and liquid leaking through the cap.) Tl;dr: took forever to get an employee to the front, homophobic/disrespectful behavior from employees, damaged product put back on shelf for sale. read more

This Walgreens used to be the BEST, but recently every time I come here it's horrible. The staff is different every time I come here, and previously it was always consistent and I would always see a familiar face and now I never see the same people. My doctor calls a prescription in and I come in AN HOUR later and they tell me that they don't have anything for me. This pharmacy has gone down hill and it's sad. I will be taking my prescriptions somewhere else from now on, and if you don't like to wait an hour every single time you go to pick up a prescription I recommend going somewhere else. read more

I changed to a different Walgreen location because of the attitude of one on Blaylock. The one at 9600 was better UNTIL they closed the store close to Dunvale. It takes 15 to 30 minutes to get a human being on the phone. I was told VINCENT, the pharmacy manager considers 6 pills as refilled. I was told by someone 7 days ago my presc would be refilled in a day. I JUST went to pick it up and there are 6 pills instead of 60 in it. I called yesterday to make sure it's ready and there are only 6 pills. That is NOT ready. I asked Brian if my prescription would be ready the next days and he just said it should be but there are no guarantees. I've got a handicap and it is a hardship for me to go to the drugstore. This is unacceptable. Called Monday. My prescription WAS ready. Brian didn't bother to look further in the bin. I talked to Victor, the manager who said "I'm sorry that happened sweetheart". I told him he needed to talked to Brian about his snide attitude and LAZINESS (why didn't HE look in the bin) and he said AGAIN, "I'm sorry that happened sweetheart". I told him not to call me sweetheart, that's NOT ok. He took no responsibility for their actions like it was a tornado or something. Also, I'm not sure that last review wasn't a "bit". Most times I go to pick something up there's 6 people in the drive pick up, the other line is CLOSED. That forces you to go into the store spending $ on something else. That's what they want. That's why you get text or calls saying everything's ready when it is not. read more

This is my local Walgreens... The store itself is very clean and always well-organized. The photo department and the pharmacy would get THREE stars if they were to be seperate ratings - they are never adequately staffed, but they do well with the people they have. The cosmetics department ALWAYS has someone willing to help and you can check out there if you want to do so. The cashiers are super friendly for the most part. There are two Redbox machines outside so that's nice. I only wish this was a 24-hour store or at least that it was open from 7 a - midnight - that would be much more convenient for me than the 8 a - 10 p schedule they have now. read more

Is it weird to write a review on Walgreens?! I don't care, I love this place!!! It's walking distance from my apartment and my go to store in the morning when I'm needing a quick Red Bull before work or in the afternoon when I want to run in and out without having to deal with big stores and lines. I go there at least once a week and there has never been I time I've not been greeted when I walk in the door. This store is well maintained, clean, and quick! Great staff. Pharmacy is great and quick. And there are 2 RedBox kiosks just outside. It's part of a bigger shopping center so I always feel safe. Glad it's so close to me!! read more

The joys of having acid reflux! My doctor sent a prescription here (nearest to my home), so was looking forward to picking up my prescription. But the treatment I received was enough to give me acid reflux without even eating anything! My fault that my insurance for some reason doesn't cover the cheapest acid reducer available (???), but the women behind the counter who helped me just recommended a cheaper substitute of the shelf. So I'm ready to leave and tell my partner they couldn't fill the prescription. He tells me to ask for a 30 day supply. So back at the counter I ask for a 30 day supply. Another worker asks about the prescription in question and the woman who helped me before tells me "DRUG NOT COVERED" rudely. I left the store without buying an over the counter acid reducer and felt happy to have acid reflux instead of dealing with an insensitive person. I understand it's busy, I deal with customers face to face but you have to be more friendly. It's one thing going to your doctor and him or her telling you have a medical condition that needs meds to control. Going into the healthcare industry, you're expected to treat people with respect. I'll just have to put up with my acid until I order some from another source online (probably at a lower cost). Two stars because most of the other workers are great and never give my partner much hassles. read more

She refused to let me in and I said I would give a horrible Yelp review she said that's fine.
