Love this location and pharmacy. I don't know why people always hate on this pharmacy. It's absolutely the best! They always take care of me. I've been coming here for 15 years and I've never had a problem. I think people need to calm down and think about their own attitudes before they talk bad about this Pharmacy . I came to drop off a package yesterday at the FedEx center inside this Walgreens. No one was at the shipping counter and I waited for 5 minutes until I got in line at checkout where two employees were working, including Su, who I assumed is the manager. When Su finished ringing up a gentleman, she walked away from the counter to talk to the other employee without acknowledging me. I was completely ignored until I said excuse me to get their attention. Su continued to talk to the other employee until she rudely looked over at me and said "what's up?" Not a smile, not a "hi, how can I help you?" I told her I needed to drop off a FedEx package and she said "okkkaayyy it's right over there" extending her arm and pointing to the section I was just waiting at for 5 minutes previously. I told her there was no one there to help me and she patronizingly told me someone would be right over. She was incredibly condescending and belittling in the way she spoke to me, I'm actually shocked and have never been treated like that as a patron who visits this establishment and pharmacy frequently. The other employee who finished assisting me was also cold and dismissive. I worked in customer service for over 15 years and have never ignored or flippantly addressed a customer with "what's up" when they ask for help. Your employees as well as your manager need better training on how to be a little kinder and more apologetic when you know customers have been waiting awhile and need assistance. Pharmacy has been awful as of late. Long lines for the drive thru and walk in. Calling in to speak to someone is hit or miss. I got disconnected after waiting close to 15mins on hold twice. Then when I do get a hold of someone in the pharmacy I get placed on hold only to be disconnected again. The line in the drive thru tonight was 35 mins. It's a shame...it use to be a really good go to pharmacy a year or two back. read more

Worst customer service ever. Asian Pharmacist receptionist said they don't have a "contract with our insurance provider" and would not fill out prescription unless we paid cash. Total racket. Our carrier is Cigna and Walgreens will have a relationship with them. So sad we received this service in an emergency situation. Terrible. read more

Quick and easy trip. Fair amount of parking. Not busy and able to get back to pharmacy and wait less than 10 mins. So not bad in my opinion.

No clue why now they only have one person working the register and the drive through so you'll show up and see only two people in line but it'll take 40 minutes to actually get a person because they're alternating between the drive-through window and the in-store register. The last four times I've been here it's taken me over 30 min just to pick up a prescription that I don't even need to talk to the pharmacist for. read more

Customer service is non existent. I went to purchase an otc item. They didn't have it in stock. They wouldn't call the next walgreens just 2 miles away to check if they had it. Instead, I had to drive there, stand in line for 35 minutes to find out they were out of stock. Appalling lack of courtesy, they couldn't be bothered to pickup the phone and call. The pharmacy here is a joke. Rude workers and the drive through line is ridiculously slow. It should absolutely not take 10-15 minutes per car. They do not pay attention to medications either. I've been on the same dose for over a year and they still ask why I'm getting two separate prescriptions and wont fill until I get there. Because they don't make a pill in the size I'm on. Change of workers in the pharmacy!! they need to hired people that don't have anger issues better training to work in a pharmacy and love to work with people . Every time i need to pick up my prescription it takes them Over 2 days to have it ready or they are always screaming at customers or they don't understand English good. No matter how calm or patient you are this people are great at making anyone feel frustrated. and the cranky Asian old lady that works there wow she is rude and very unprofessional you are just getting to the window when she is already screaming about something is horrible, and 2 of the females pharmacist that work on Saturdays they seem not to understand English well I try to talk slow so they can understand instead they become rude and start screaming right away and instead of helping they would say we don't have anything for you. I don't understand the need to scream at customers these is a pharmacy not boot camp. Now I understand why they have such low rate they are horrible. I had a problem with a prescription and since no one was behind me in the drive through line, I asked the representative, Caress, if she could see why my medication was not being filled with the quantity and price provided by the manufacturer's coupon. The front staff in this store are friendly BUT don't expect the ladies who work at the pharmacy to acknowledge you. I stood and waited to be acknowledged, you know give them a chance to notice me. Just want to say a quick thank you to Walgreens for welcoming me to the cool kids club! Yesterday I made a last minute appointment to receive the COVID vaccine from the Walgreens in Huntington Beach. The process was incredibly easy! You hop on their website, answer a few quick questions, input insurance info (if you have it), and pick a date/time you're available. I was even able to snag a same day appointment! Once you book your appointment they automatically send you a calendar invite for your second vaccination appointment. When you arrive you check in with the pharmacy and they bring you into a small room where the pharmacist shoots you with a very tiny needle. Painless, I promise! The only complaint I have is that the pharmacist didn't ask me to stay nearby for a few minutes in case of any allergic reactions. Luckily I already knew this was typical protocol and did some last minute nail polish shopping. Nail polish plus a free covid vaccine all in one place? America is pretty damn cool. How hard is it? How hard is it to TRY and accommodate your patients? I say patients because you all think you're doctors. I have 3 prescriptions that I need to pick up. 2 were done 2 days ago. One, I had to wait for insurance until today. I called 2 days ago to make sure they would ALL be ready for pick up this morning. I called AGAIN this morning to give them a 3-hour lead. The female on the phone is so rude, and will not make sure my last prescription will be filled by 10:30 when I leave the area. I have done everything in my power to give them ample time to make this easier on me so I don't have to make repeat trips and they won't help. No wonder all of these stores are closing. You people are rude and unprofessional. I don't like to change pharmacies because I'm on pain meds, and that can cause issues as well, hence the play doctor comment. I'm not one to write negative reviews. However, this pharmacy location is severely understaffed. It's unfathomable how long it takes to pick up a prescription here. Drive thru pharmacy line is routinely 30-minutes+ even when there are only 2-3 cars in line. It's really frustrating. Great location, abysmal service. I would really recommend that the pharmacy manager rethink staffing, training etc... they're losing my business from here on out, and I know of several other former customers who have also stopped using this pharmacy. read more

Came in today to pick up medication for my 2 year old who is very sick. The employee who had my information written on the medication had address and number wrong. They also failed to give me a syringe for my medication and I had to drive back again to retrieve it. I can forgive one mistake but multiple on a child's medication does not make me trust this pharmacy. Should I trust they put the right meds in there for him as well? The employee I spoke to over the phone apologized and stated it was their employee's first day and that is absolutely still no excuse to mess this up. I had a pretty frustrating visit at Walgreens Pharmacy today. I scheduled my vaccination appointment online and arrived 10 minutes early to my appointment. I noticed the pharmacist leaving as I arrived, which I thought was a little strange because I had an appointment scheduled, but I was hoping they would be gone only for a short break. When I went to the counter, it took a while for someone to help me -- most staff ignored me or just walked past, doing other things and starting other tasks. Once someone acknowledged me, they said that the pharmacist had just left for lunch, and that they wouldn't be back for an hour! I asked if they had my appointment on their schedule, and they said yes, so I have no idea why the pharmacist would leave right before a scheduled appointment for a 1 hour lunch break. Another pharmacist was there, but she didn't know how to give the live varicella vaccine, so I had to come back in an hour after the pharmacist's lunch break. I agreed because I needed the vaccine for school, and waited in the car. After waiting in the car for an hour for the pharmacist to return from lunch, I went back to the pharmacy only for the lady who checked me in to tell me that the vaccine wasn't covered by my insurance and would cost me about $200 for one dose! It's a 2-dose vaccine, so I definitely wasn't going to pay out of pocket if I could get it covered elsewhere. The staff here just seem incompetent. It was a red flag to see the pharmacist leaving for lunch as I arrived, as well as seeing one of the staff members forget the door code to enter the pharmacy. They're also not very attentive to anyone waiting for help at the counter, and the person who checked me in should have made sure everything was ready and in place before having me wait an hour for the pharmacist to get back from lunch. I can't imagine I would have had a good experience if I were to have actually gotten the vaccine either. This whole visit at Walgreens Pharmacy turned out to be a huge waste of my time. I ended up not getting my vaccine here at Walgreens, so I called CVS instead and was able to schedule my appointment immediately and get the vaccine the same day. The only good thing is that Walgreens Pharmacy referred me to CVS Pharmacy. I was able to get my vaccine without a problem at CVS, and I had an excellent visit there with very competent and professional staff -- unlike at Walgreens. read more

Pharmacy staff refused to take Apple Pay through the drive thru window. I shouldn't have had to pay anything to begin with, that is. I paid my copay online beforehand on their app and they said they had no record of it. I even showed them my email confirmation and online bank statement that listed the charge to no avail (!). They told me that they would end up removing the second charge after I paid again which I didn't trust at all. This is an awful business practice. They told me I had to come inside to pay in person if I wanted to use Apple Pay which I couldn't due to injury. I waited in a 25 minute drive thru line for nothing. Thanks Walgreens. read more

I called back & told pharmacist my experience- no apology just " we are very busy please hold. On hold for 8 min with no apology. I wish I didn't have to use this location b/c this isn't the first time. If you don't have enough staff don't make customers suffer. AETNA is making us use Walgreens & I will complain to them too. Convenient location to pick up pharmacy prescriptions. They even have a drive thru for the pharmacy although I have yet to use it.

First of all, the tech was too busy staring down the aisle at another customer walking around while taking my paper and typing in my info. Then he tells me it's not in stock and hands my prescription back to me. I asked him if they could order it and he said it will be in Monday (4 days). I call Monday around 5pm to check on my order and it turns out they cannot order it and cannot fill it and didn't bother calling me. I went back to pick up my prescription paper since Walgreens couldn't fill it. I took it to a cvs and was able to have it filled in 15 minutes. This Walgreens location has always had HORRIBLE customer service. The techs and pharmacists on duty are ALWAYS rude to customers. FAR inferior to other walgreen locations. The techs and pharmacists here are conceited and act like you are an inconvenience. I only tried to fill a prescription at this location because they are close to home and I tend to forgive and forget the rudeness. After waiting four days for a medication, I will not forget this time and I will not be returning to this location again!! After years and years of poor service or no service, it's worth driving ELSEWHERE. Any other Walgreens or CVS will treat you with more respect than this dump. NEVER AGAIN. read more

DO NOT COME HERE FOR YOUR COVID VACCINE. It takes forever to get it done because the staff is incredibly disorganized. The pharmacy itself is super ghetto too--it has plastic barriers which makes it look like they're afraid of getting robbed. I had an appointment at 5:20. Customers that came in after me were helped first because they kept complaining about the wait. Parisa, the pharmacy tech, is really incompetent in her role and failed to help customers in order of their appointment. Kevin T administrated the vaccine and I was really nervous because he was scrambling around to get his work done and he seemed scatter brained. Was in today to pick up 2 prescriptions. The pharmacist on duty (woman with dark brown hair) said one of my prescriptions wasn't covered. Me being new to having to get prescriptions, I asked her why and she said I needed to call my doctor but wouldn't give me much info after that. She was very rude and short with me, as if she didn't care at all. The prescription is for my well being and she didn't care whatsoever and sent me in my merry way. I usually have no issues with this pharmacy. Even with my insurance, i was somehow being charged over $50 for an inhaler. I showed a good-rx coupon that was half the price, and was told "this ain't Walgreens. This is CVS" Which, obviously wasn't true.
