We relay on our medical services to provide us with the best customer service and what I got today was disgusting!!They have our health at their fingertips and they don't give a damn!! A pharmacist is supposed to know what happens when you take ADHD medication and what would happen if you cut it abruptly! But today when I call to make sure my medication would be ready because I don't like waiting till last minute the so NOT HELPFUL pharmacist decided to hang up on me instead of trying to figure out a way to help!! I went in this afternoon to get a flu shot. I've lived in the area for 10+ years and this was my second time in the store. As I waited in line behind one other couple as I moved to the counter the tall guy stepped away. We made eye contact yet he didn't acknowledge me until he began a conversation with another associate. He then stated...ill be right with you. He appeared to continue his conversation with her. A couple of minutes passed...I LEFT. My time is more valuable than to wait on poor customer service. WORST experience here today! Came in to Pharmacy at 1:25 for a Flu Shot. The cashier asked if I could come back because they leave for lunch at 1:30. I'm thinking, wait a second, I'm here at your window now-before you have closed for lunch- how long does it really take?? (I, too, have a set time schedule & have to get back to work...not to mention, I am the customer!) Aside from this, the nurse (?) who prepped/administered the shot was loudly vocal & upset behind the counter ...she was quite irritated that she would not make it to Starbucks for her lunch break & had to ask her co-worker to bring her back something. I mean, what an unprofessional team in this Pharmacy...if this is the worst that happens in their day...FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS! As much as Walgreens advertises their Flu Shots-this really made such a bad impression. I work for a big company & will be sure to share this bad review- hoping they lose the contract. This review is for the pharmacy only. I made an appointment online for my TDAP vaccine. I received a reminder yesterday regarding my appointment. I walked in today and when I got to the front, I told them that I had an appointment for the TDAP vaccine. The pharmacy tech/person said, "Oh, our fridge is broken so we can't give out any vaccines." I told him that I had made an appointment and I didn't receive notification that my appointment has been cancelled. He responded that they don't call people with appointments to cancel. He told me I can walk-in to any other Walgreens and get the vaccine. I had limited time today during a lunch break (reason I made an appointment in the first place!) so I couldn't just walk-in to another Walgreens. Made another appointment at a different location. We will see how that goes! read more

Don't come to this pharmacy!!! There are 2 ladies who work here who are totally incompetent and rude!! You are better off at the Ft Apache or Rainbow location. One of them has an accent and you cannot understand her and she pretends she can't hear you on the phone....all the time! This location is horrible as far as customer service is concerned! This is my go-to store when i need a bag of chips, a bar of soap, etc. - it's the closest store to the casa. I'm a little disappointed Walgreen opted to join the masses and have a "frequent buyer" program requiring a card - i've got enough with the various grocery stores ! The beer selection stinks but it's rare that i buyer a 6-er anyways so not a big issue. I like that they have decent sales on sundry items Also have to ding them a star for not being open 24 hours. The prescription situation at this store, is abominable! They only keep your prescription a short length of time and then unbeknownst to you it is removed....They may 'remind' you on a Monday that there's a prescription to pick up, and you go to pick it up on Wednesday, and its gone! This has happened more than once! Also, not that i don't believe that people need time off on holidays, but when it comes to people needing their medication, someone must be manning the store! This wasn't the case this past Thanksgiving, as well as the day after....Then, after that slap in the face, I went to pick it up and it was removed! Worst customer service ever!! Refused to give me a refund or store credit for an item that turned out to be defective after I bought it. I had the receipt and package. Brought back to store 4 days after purchase. Reason for refusal per store manager was because it had been purchased in a Walgreens in South Carolina (I had just returned from vacation). My husband has been needing to pick up prescriptions for the past few months. The first time we were there the lady was extremely rude, gave us attitude when she asked us a question and we didn't know the answer. He's going through his workers comp and she asked for certain claim number that was never provided to us. Instead of helping us she basically told us he couldn't help us. Another 2x we went there we received terrible customer service. You would think we were imposing on them or something. Very disappointed. read more

I'm very big on customer service in any establishment where you hv to deal with the public, and for the most part the staff in there is great with customer service, but the African American lady in the pharmacy dept is just RUDE to me for no reason whatsoever on multiple occasions to the point I had to ask what hv I done to her. What's worse is I'm African American as well, so it's really disturbing to me how/why shes evn dealing with people if she has no people skills. The worst pharmacy ever!!! I get text saying my prescription is ready on Saturday but of course per the usual it's partial cause they can't seem to stock a med that I refill every month. I purposely don't go get the med the day they say it's ready cause it is always partial. I waited till Tuesday to go get my med this time and it's still a partial. How do you inconvenience your costumers that bad!! I expect incompetency and waited and still wasn't ready. You lost a customer! Will never return!! read more

Casandra the Pharmacist is very nice and went above and beyond to find a walgreens that had my Cancer Pain Medicine in stock. My normal walgreens on Ft apache and sunset didnt order my meds in time. Casandra called five Walgreens and found it. Most Pharmacist treat you like a criminal when you try to fill a script. read more

I'm actually sitting in my car in the parking lot as I'm writing this review because I can't wait to get home to do it. This Walgreens has probably some of the worst customer service that I've experienced on the southwest side of town. Not rating the pharmacy but the actual retail portion of the store. For starters I walked in at approximately 9:45 knowing that yes they close at 10:00 PM as one of the associates is walking around the store playing rap music on his phone rapping along.. How unprofessional can you get? Then another associate yells "make sure you guys lock that door" a bit overkill like yes we get it you guys want to go home but do you have to go those leaps and bounds to make the customers inside feel unwanted? Keep in mind it's us who keeps you in business. I was actually helped by one of the pharmacy people because I looked lost. However the same associate guy that was walking around blasting the rap music on his phone ends up helping me.. No greeting just nonchalantly takes my purchase rings me up as he's continuing the rest of his song. No goodbye..no offering of a bag for my item.. Am I in the twilight zone?? This walgreens is the worst!!! I got stuck here because my insurance no longer deals with CVS. Allow me to describe the hell I went through here. First on the saturday before I left for vacation I woke up with signs of pink eye I called my eye doc who faxed over a script it was around 9 am. I waited a bit and called walgreens to see if they received it and when it would be ready. Well I got the nastiest person on the phone she was upset I called to ask about my script because as she said " she just got there and is way to busy to look" I explained that I needed the meds because I was leaving for vacation the next day and I just wanted to be sure she got the fax. She sighed and said yeah fine hold on I will look. She comes back and tells me she got it but they dont have the meds in stock. So I asked her is any other walgreens had it. She told me she didnt know and I should call around and find out. Guess she was to busy to check.... after calling ten different places no one had the meds I finally called my eye doc who called her back with a different script. It was like pulling teeth to get her to do anything. But wait there is more..... The last straw was my hubby called on a thursday to get his script transferred to walgreens from CVS again due to our insurance we had no choice he was told it would be ready at noon the next day and for transferring he would get a 25 dollar gift card. I went the next day at 5:57pm to get my script and his. I was told by Daniel it was not ready. When I asked why he said he didnt know but it would be ready in and hour so I drove home and back again an hour later this time I got mrs nasty in the drive through she told me well sorry but I just got the transfer from CVS and It is not ready it took me all day to get it . I was pissed I told her why in the hell would Daniel say it would be ready if you didnt have it to begin with? This is not fair for me to have to drive back and fourth for a script your not filling? She said it was not her problem... and if I wanted it I would have to wait another fifteen minutes. ... I finally had enough and asked for a manger I was told there wasnt one in ... how convenient. I parked and went inside finally they had my script ready but then wouldnt give me my gift card. I had to argue with them to get it. I have called their corp office and hope something gets done because no one should have to put up with that. On a seperate note I was not the only one as there were several people in line when I went in to the store and mrs. Nasty told all of them their scripts were not ready and they would have to come back and they too complained that they were promised it would be ready by a certain time and were aggravated when they left. So I am not sure what they do there but they are not filling perscriptions. Do yourself a favor go to cvs they are much better and when they say your stuff will be ready it is. They are very friendly and helpfull so just cross the street if you want better service read more

The staff in the pharmacy is the laziest I've ever dealt with! Anywhere you go with a drive thru.... Walgreens or McDonalds... You go inside if you are willing to wait or drive thru for quick service. I can't tell you how much time I've spent waiting for the drive thru girl while she does who knows what! Very handy and convenient place to walk to. It's close by and has just about anything you might need on a quick trip. It's a great little place for toys, food, medicine, electronics, or even clothes! They may not have a big selection of stuff but if an emergency comes up or you need something on a short notice this place is a good place to go. I came here for passport photos. The service was good, quick and efficient. To photos were $11, which is expensive in my opinion. I asked for separate transactions with the other things I was purchasing, and it was no problem. On the second transaction I even paid with apples iPay. Good experience but I will look around for a cheaper price. read more

I've been using Walgreen for our prescriptions since getting out of the military 16 years ago. I've never had service to complain about in all that time until we bought a house across town and forced to use this location. I've been using this newer location for 5 months and it has been an utter nightmare. I'm not sure I can recall all the mistakes they've made, however my biggest complaint is the customer service is an epic embarrassment. Not just one employee but usually a few. I seem to usually always get one lady who is blatantly just disrespectful. I mean there is no misunderstanding how bad she treats people. After complaining 3 separate times and her still being there I have relocated my whole families prescriptions across the street. Sorry Walgreens your lack of care about how your employees treat your customers just lost up another long time client to CVS. By the look of the reviews on this location it doesn't appear that I am alone in my opinion. read more

Now today I was LIED TO regarding a prescription coupon card!! They do not care about the patient, will not spend 1 second of their time helping anyone! Just spent 45 minutes to pickup. I had to call my insurance provider and literally walk this lady teller step by step on how to pull up my account. Then they had to call them back for more questions and then spent the another 10 forcing me to sign up for their rewards program.
