I have dark brown hair, and I wanted to go to light brown. I understood that I'd have to get my hair slightly lightened with bleach. This lady had my hair almost platinum for a shade that was maybe only two shades lighter than my hair. Excessive damage for no reason. Then as she dyed my hair, I kept feeling my hair touch my bare clothes. Long story short, she completely bleached the back of my brand new $90 hoodie. And didn't mention it to me. And my hair was burgundy and very patchy. My hair turned out damaged and not what I asked for at all. I ended up getting a full refund, minus tip, but I wish I could've gotten a refund, taken the tip, and been reimbursed for the sweatshirt. This happened over a year ago but as I read other reviews on the hair stylists here, I figured I'd chip in. I tried the kids department twice and the womens department twice-- NO answer. JCPenney should not do catalog orders. This is only my second one. I didn't get my first order either. JCPenney as a whole needs to fix their inventory and logistics issues. You cant have people order and pay for stuff only yo cancel the order bc you dont have the inventory or show that a package has been delivered to one of your stores only for your employees to not be able to find it. When Kevin started Terrapin Bicycles, he helped me a great deal with my Priority Current and getting a new motor for it. Years later, I remember his generosity. I called up the shop and nearing closing time, Brie, the bike mechanic said to come in and he'll help out. In 15 minutes, he'll got my bike in top shape. It's so important to find "your guy". Terrapin Bicycles is incredible in their service, knowledge, and relationship with the community. Thank the bike gods for them.

When you finally get back to make a purchase you have to look off an iPad, barely anything is displayed. THEN they can't even turn around to grab the product, they have to message someone upstairs to bring it down. The person upstairs packages the products very nicely, just for the sales person to unwrap it, show it to you, and then take 5 min to try and wrap it nicely again. This sales model is so dumb. I have also order ahead online, sat in the car for 37 min. Why would you come outside without the product and card reader. You tell them what spot your in from the link to your order, so why would you come out to the car empty handed ask who I am and take another 10 min to come out with the product and card reader. But mind blowingly people love this place. I say go to an uglier dispo, get in and get out.

I started to asked around and did online searching for a reputable company who specialized in fiberglass and saltwater pools and was very interested in tanning ledge. I found River Pools and Spas in late 2019. They were super attentive and scheduled time to come see me and talk about my goals. They designed my dream that included a waterfall and fire pit. I was impressed with their transparency and there informative website. Their videos and articles touch every question you could possible have and are absolutely a must to review. They will help you understand the true cost of pool installation and set realistic expectations. This is a very large purchase and you pay for what you get. Fast forward, April 2020 and my pool project was complete. This planning and scheduling started in December 2019 and couldn't of been more timely with the impact of COVID. We really enjoyed the luxury of my at home oasis. Where there set backs and challenges, yes! But weather is not predictable, shipment delays due to COVID and nor was my water table requiring some additional stone. None of this was River Pool and Spas fault and their communication was on point. Every time a challenge presented they did what I would expect a company to do, they communicated and did what was right to fix it instead of ignore you. I live on a very busy corner lot and has created a lot conversation on my experiences and recommendations and lead me to share my experience here. I highly recommend them! I will enjoy this pool and my added features for many, many years and couldn't be more pleased. They nailed my expectations and the look and feel I desired. River Pools Roanoke - Extremely Unresponsive…read more We've been trying to reach River Pools Roanoke for over a month now about an inground pool installation and still have not heard back from anyone. We called multiple times during their business hours, left several voicemails, and sent text messages as requested, but no one has returned a single call or message. If this is how they treat potential customers at the very beginning of the process, it really makes you question how they would handle a major project or any problems after installation. This franchise comes across as completely irresponsible when it comes to basic communication and follow-through. We've decided to look elsewhere for a pool company that actually answers the phone and respects our time.

I could understand this if I were paying a large sum of money, but this was not the case. After checking the bills thoroughly and getting my change she handed me back my change without looking up or saying anything. No thank you, have a nice day, bye or even a look of disgust. I must say that I will not be returning to this gas station and will go out of my way to take my business elsewhere. I'm not sure if this woman was having a bad day (she helped the woman in front of me with great pleasure) or if she just doesn't like people of color.
