This Walgreens pharmacy is extremely slow and inefficient. Yesterday afternoon (on a weekday), I waited in the drive thru line 30 mins to drop off my prescription; and I m back the next day waiting in line again (20 mins and counting). This is a 24 hour pharmacy and thusly should be running at full capacity (given we are also in a pandemic). Really frustrating. read more

Let's see not sure if it's because it's the evening but when my cousin was working here it was a lot better . 1st I'm about savings so the toilet paper & paper towels where about 2.50 off deal right , so I enter my information numerous times they say there is no coupon showing . OMG!!!! This pharmacy has gone down to the dumps. My dad had surgery 9/18,and had a post op appointment on the 19th. The dr. put a prescription in for him on the same day,so I kept checking the app,to see if it was ready,unfortunately,it wasn't. I called real early the following morning,I talked to this guy,who was rude and nasty. He put me on hold, and while I waited,the phone rang back,and he answered,as if he never spoken to me,and accused me of hanging up. How dumb did he sound!!He lied and said the prescription would be ready on Thursday,and guess what it wasn't.My sister was told it would be ready on Friday,and it wasn't. Today, the 27th, I called the pharmacy,to check on the status of the remaining prescription,and was assisted by a very nice young lady named Stephanie. I gave her the necessary information,and she tells me,the manufacturer of that medication,no longer has it,but she found another manufacturer and placed the order.She apologized,after I told her this is unacceptable. I was in town to visit family for Christmas and unfortunately I forgot my meds at home. I came to the pharmacy and they gave me 4 days worth of meds which is what I needed all for $3! Service was good even if they're were super busy. All in all a great experience at Walgreens LB! read more

I know this is an otherwise national chain but in a world with so many choices I am happy to have this as my neighborhood pharmacy. I have been a customer for 12 years and I have gotten to know many of the clerks and I am a fan of being a regular. Many of the staff have been there almost the entire time. I was forced to change pharmacies when I changed insurance. I was very happy with the service and care I received from Tracy one of their pharmacists. I have recently returned and I am getting the same exceptional treatment. At this Walgreen's they remember me and what I need. They make sure to keep up with my needs and never need to be reminded to order or renew my medications or anyone in my home. read more

The customer service here is lacking all the way. No one says good morning. They make you wait for long periods of time after you have to search for help. Everyone seems depressed and are rude. No customer service skills at all. 3 people walked past me without offering assistance but were focused on buying bottles of water. After two failed trips to different Targets to get some prescriptions filled ahead of my surgery, I finally came to the 24-hour Walgreen's. First, the pharmacist gives me grief because the prescribing doctor is in Newport Beach and they don't fill prescriptions out of the area. Give me a break! It's not from Portland, it's Newport. Same region! And I explained that I LIVE in Long Beach. Second, because my prescription is Percocet and valium, I'm already being treated with suspicion that I really don't appreciate. The pharmacist kept making comments like, "This prescription was filled out on the 19th." Yeah? So fucking what? I've been busy and didn't need them filled until yesterday anyway. Third, he says he needs to verify this is legit with my doctor. Fine! I invite you to! I didn't appreciate his attitude about it. Yes, there are people who abuse prescription drugs, but I'm not one of them. I had also just gone to the gym, and I'm going to guess that most people who get up at the crack of dawn to workout aren't eating valium and Percocet like it's candy. Anyway. Fast forward a few hours later. Walgreen's calls, but leaves no voicemail. So, I call and they say the prescriptions are ready. I drive all the way over there, and as the girl is ringing them up, she notices that the antibiotic they're prescribing is similar to penicillin, which I'm allergic to. I did get the Percocet and valium, at least. I'm thinking, why couldn't the goddamn pharmacist have noticed this?!! That's his friggin' job! The cashier knew more than the pharmacist? Unreal. They got on the phone and try to reach my doctor. I say I have to go, but call me when it's ready. Once again, they call, leave no voicemail, but we assume it's ready and go. And then we find out that the doctor said I didn't need the antibiotics after all and canceled the script for that. Leave a damn voicemail, Walgreen's and quit wasting everyone's time. read more

This review is in regards to the Pharmacy- Its sure would be nice if someone in the pharmacy would pick up the phone!! I waited on hold for 12 min and finally gave up! Then I call back and am put on hold again, only to be told there were 3 people in line on hold in front of me! Does nobody answer the phone?!?! All I'm trying to do is find out if my prescription is ready, according the the "Walgreen's" Website my prescription is "prepared" and the pharmacist is checking for "drug interactions"- well it's been showing the same status for over an hour! That's a long time to throw 14 pills in a bottle and make sure that they don't interact with any med's I'm currently on (which is none). I will not be returning to this pharmacy, will have to find on that's better staffed and where they answer the phone!!! read more

Got my vaccine here and the staff was all incredibly nice and made my vaccination a pleasant experience. Also thanks to Vivienne and her team at the pharmacy. Oh, their new "Rewards" program SUCKS!!! It's way too complicated and just isn't worth the trouble. You have to accrue thousands of points in order to get a crummy reward, and only certain products apply. Plus they ask for your driver's license just to sign up. Get real. read more

This has been my neighborhood drug store/pharmacy for years. It's super close to my house, has a drive thru, and is open 24 hours. When it was new, it was a 5 star..over the years, it's gotten shabby not only in appearance, but in service. Back in the day, you'd get a 'good morning' when you walked in, and a smile from the pharmacist. Now, you get blank stares and attitude. Too often the lines are too long and too slow moving, it shouldn't be that complicated to run in and buy kleenex. The store is dirty, poorly organized, and the quality of merchandise just sucks. The stock on their shelves resembles a swap meet more than a drug store, and the stuff they do have looks like it came out of the back of a garbage truck. Boxes are ripped, dirty, and open. Sorry, I'm not gonna buy toothpaste when the box has been opened and taped closed again. Gross. They do have propane exchanges, the blue rhino thing, which is the only reason they keep a star. I've switched my stuff over to the CVS up the street and am much happier. read more

The worst! The Doctor gives a prescription and they can't fill it because he didn't say it couldn't be generic. What do I care? Just fill it. I've been running around to other Walgreens because they first said a couple days - I return in 5 they still don't have it and send us to another Walgreens. Now they won't even fill it - This is over the top, meanwhile the little kid at home suffers because of the red tape at Walgreens. We won't be back. Poor employee assistance and poor set up of the store. Due to the layout in the photo center, everyone has to wait for people to be off the kiosk to get things like a passport photo because the back drop is behind it. It just made a 20 minute situation into an hour and a half situation. Could have been avoided. read more

I work in a pharmacy and have expectations of the pharmacists when I go to one that is not my own. The reason I always go an independent pharmacy is because you get the service and care you deserve as a patient. However I was picking up medication for someone else as a favor. I was greeted by a nice technician and a horrible pharmacist who was extremely rude and unapproachable. I expect this though when going to chain pharmacy no care to the patients only the money in their pockets. When leaving another pharmacist came and helped me and was very helpful I could tell she cared. One bad apple spoiled the bunch. I'd never go here for myself and I'd recommend you don't either. Go find a independent who genuinely care about your HEALTH!! read more

My family & I have been going to this Walgreens for so many years and the pharmacy never fails to provide us with what we need. The employees are always so welcoming and friendly. However, there was recently a new head pharmacist named, Derek, very rude. He does not know how to treat customers. I don't know if it's because I have gotten used to their friendly environment, but this guy definitely stands out amongst the rest of them. I called to check in on a vaccine...I was put on hold for 30 minutes and no one ever answered.. so I drove 40 minutes all to be told the pharmacist was on lunch, I get that everyone needs to take a lunch break, but seriously? that's why I was calling- to make sure there was someone there to help me when I arrived.. if someone would have just answered the phone I would have come when the pharmacist was there and not be wasting half of the day waiting for them to be done with their lunch- if this wasn't the only location within an hour drive of me that carries the vaccine I needed for my upcoming trip...there is no way I would ever come here. read more

Came in for a flu shot. Was told wait time would be an hour or come back at 10pm. Came back at 10pm told wait till will be an hour....

So this is the 3rd time I've been to Walgreens for pictures and they have screwd it up all 3 times. Seriously this is ridiculous. They should not advertise 1 hour same day service if in 24 hrs it's still not ready. Lol The manager Sharon is a nice woman but needs to stay focused and make sure we get what we pay for. I had to edit my review unfortunately. But this is what happens when a manager is hired that lacks any real professionalism, friendliness, customer service skills etc. Never had I ever real issues in the past up until my last experience in the store. I had a five star rating before and I was really pleased with my past experiences. It's really disheartening to have one person ruin a shopping experience especially at a store that you regularly works money at. I propose myself on loyalty and I feel if I'm treated well then I'll go back without a doubt. That's why for the last three plus years I've shopped at the Pacific location but the way I was treated this last time I'll not be shopping there any longer. I tend to look at the sales each week to save money on certain things. So I go to certain stores get my sale items and someone it takes me a bit longer if I have other things I'm shopping for which was the case last time and the manager was treating me as if I was doing something wrong maybe because how long it was taking me, having a major back injury slows you down incredibly I just can't move as fast. Anyways idk what he may of thought but he talked to me so rude and instead of treating a customer who spending at least a hundred to three hundred at times each month in that store with the respect and professionalism I deserved he treated me like I was trash. I had never encountered this particular manager because I typically do not ship early in the morning like I was that day but I'll never make that mistake again. The only plus was the black girl who checked me out. She was amazing really thoughtful incredibly sweet professional and just overall a really excellent employee. That is the only reason I have two stars.. they need to fire that other guy and he's the so called management wow. He needs to take lessons from the cashier better yet give her the job stuck him in the back or stocking products so he doesn't have to encountered customers before he runs all the good ones out. I have to compliment on this Walgreens photo department because I'm very please that they took the time to fix my problem. Ever since I've moved the neighborhood I made the switch to develop my pictures here. So far they have turned out great. I order my first 12x18 poster and the quality and image was picture perfect. There for I made again another order but poster was smaller 11x14. This time the picture look like they were running out of ink and you can see the lines going down the picture. I called them and they told me to come in to make a new print. They were outstanding! With no problem and BS they helped me and I seriously couldn't be much happier. Worst drive-thru service ever. I've been coming to this Walgreens drive-thru for 2 months now and every time I come I am waiting for more than 20 minutes in line. Even if there is only one car in front of me I would be waiting for 20 minutes. I like how I can get medication at anytime. But the staff in the pharmacy is sometimes very unprofessional. I go to pick up medication and they ask for name and address. I always hand them my driver's license. Now, if they actually checked the license, they wouldn't ask for my address. I understand, maybe "Is this your current address?" The staff is a hit or miss (I prefer the staff at the Atlantic and 36th Walgreens). Otherwise it's claim to fame is that it's open 24 hours.

Worst Walgreens pharmacy EVER! I made the mistake of getting a prescription here and having it refilled automatically. I could not wait for the prescription to end! I ROUTINELY waited 30-45 minutes in the drive through. The script was already filled! It should just be a matter of getting the bottle and charging me for it, 5 minutes TOPS! Unbelievable!
