Good selection of products and fair prices. For some reason there always seems to be a long wait at the checkout here, even if there is only one person ahead of you, not sure why it always takes so long. But other than that, staff are very nice and helpful. I even asked a complicated question about how to use a healthcard OTC card to pay for products and asked about which products were allowed and they were able to answer it for me (while other drug stores had not been able to answer this same question). Kudos to the staff for knowing the answer and being able to take me to a couple places in the store and point things out to me on regards to which products were allowed and how to identify them. read more

ZERO stars should really be an option. If you value your life, or your families, or pets life, please don't go here. The level of incompetence is staggering. My family came in today to get a refill on a prescription for our dog, Midnight, who has a brain tumor and suffers from mild and massive seizures. Her meds had run out. My daughter called in (to an automated system) to get the refill on Saturday. When she didn't get an email, or any response, she tried again today. When we still didn't get a response we decided to go in and try to pick it up. My wife and daughter went in between 12 and 12:30 this afternoon to pick up the prescription. The young lady at the counter asked for her name, which was given. Then they asked for a birthdate. For a dog. Yep. When my wife responded that we didn't know her birthdate the employee tried to look it up, but couldn't find any information. Now, we have been refilling this since July and the can't find any info. They didn't ask for a phone number, didn't ask any other qualifying questions. They needed a birthday - FOR A DOG. They were told that they couldn't be helped and they had to come back with a bottle so they could get the information. The information they already have in our system under our name. Ok. So we go back just before 5pm. I ask for assistance. I give them a name. They ask me again what the birthday is, to which I reply "I don't know, she has never told me, she is a Dog." THEN they ask for a phone number. Hmmmm. you mean you could have looked it up by the phone number earlier?!?!? Why wasn't that presented as an option?!?!?!?!!?!?!? Ok. So, the first number we try didn't work, so we tried a second number - surprise! They found the record (which literally has the word DOG in the middle of the name). So, we ask if we can get it refilled. They assistant reviews the information and says they have to fill it, and to come back in an hour. An hour passes. We come back and are told they can't fill the prescription because it ran out early. Yes, it did, because our Vet upped her dosage and didn't re-submit a new prescription. That is another review. I was told by the overly smug assistant that we should have tried to fill it earlier. Yeah, kind of lost it at that. I explain that WE DID TRY TO FILL IT EARLIER and they wouldn't assist us. I ask why they didn't ask for a phone number earlier and I am told that they have to look it up by birthdate. YET SHE JUST GAVE ME A REFILL based on a phone number an hour earlier. I then ask why when I had been there an hour ago this wasn't brought to my attention. We would have had time to reach out to the Vet and get the script changed, but they missed that too, and by the time their gross incompetence showed the Vet was closed. Three opportunities to assist us. Three epic failures. Now or dog will most likely start seizing tonight, or go through withdrawls, and it may kill her, but you know, the pharmacist that assisted us thought it was funny and laughed at me behind his little plastic barrier. Please, do not trust these incompetent dullards with your life, or anyone's' life, unless you are out to get them. DO NOT USE THIS WALGREENS. Please, I beg you. This could by you or your relative or pet.... go somewhere where they care and will assist you accordingly. read more

Two employees, Anita and Hengel made my visit so seamless and I was able to get everything I wanted because they went the extra mile. Very long wait times, mean and unaccommodating staff. Mohammed, the pharmacy operations manager, was extremely condescending and made a very humiliating comment toward my person. The operation is clearly in shambles . You can see a long line of Rx patients eat up an entire grocery isle of the store itself. It's pathetic. After waiting for a very long time due to a pharmacy employee being unaware of standard procedure, the pharmacy operations manager came to help. My HSA card declined for some reason so I had to go ahead and call to fix the issue. Once fixed, the pharmacy operations manager (Mohammed) had me go through all the way to the end of the line for me to wait another 15-20 minutes to pay for my prescription medication. I don't recommend picking up your medication from this pharmacy. The pharmacy operations manager needs to train their staff to be aware of all procedures in place so that employees don't have to go ask them basic questions and waste precious customer time. read more

The Pharmacy here is the worst one I have ever been to since they changed pharmacists. I have been using this specific pharmacy for 20 years and in the last couple years they have lost all their good employees. The service is terrible and rude, the employees do not care for their customers. We waited 10 minutes at the window for the assistant pharmacist to answer, to then be told that we had to call the hospital because they didn't have it. I then called the hospital and they had to call the pharmacy to just get them to have the order put in. If you want your medications done right, go somewhere else. read more

Stopped by to get some last minute items 40 minutes before their closing time, was with my brother which just recently had surgery and has a sensitive bladder. You don't know how desperate we pleaded and the respect we gave just to let my brother use the bathroom, this tiny man which gave himself a "manager title", just stares at us and it flys over him, following with denying us and giving us not an absolute crumb of sympathy, never expected to receive treatment like this in the US?!! This is absurd.... Having to drive around and looking for a restroom. Not what I expected from our friendly neighborhood Walgreens. Also, came back and the whole crew was laughing and having a great time. After 20 minutes of driving to find a restroom. Inhumane of you. Ordered prints for Christmas cards, opened them up and very poorly cut. Like I can cut better than this. Was only offered either to fix them- which will become too small or a discount. This week, we have had to call 2x, stop by to talk in person and still not get what we needed. It was out of stock and they could have told us the Walgreens down the street had lots but instead told us everyday they would get some. Pharmacy makes at least one mistake for every three times I go for a prescription refill. Some of their pharmacy techs seem to know what they are doing, but at least half don't seem to have a clue. Once I had to go back three times to get my prescription filled correctly. Last time a tech messed up my prescription, the pharmacist on duty seemed to be having a panic attack about it. This Walgreens gets 5 stars from me for one reason only.... the drive through pharmacy. With 3 kids always with me, a "quick stop" to pick a prescription is exhausting and not so quick. I wish I had transferred to this pharmacy earlier. It is so much easier to cruise through the drive through and not get kids in and out. One time they were even kind enough to bring a large package out the front door for me because it would not fit through the window. This is a poorly run pharmacy. Unbelievable. My 82 year old mom had an appointment for covid booster and flu shot at 2:15. We arrived at 2:10 and I tried to check in. The pharmacist was three feet away from the window where I was standing staring at her and she never looked at me once. She put her headset on and off to answer four phone calls, and just as I was about to say something, a technician came over. He tried to tell me that my mom needed Medicare part D to get the flu shot. Okay, he's misinformed, that's a mistake, no big deal. There was another younger man waiting for his vaccine too. He said his appointment was for 2:00. It was now 2:25. Many 80+ year old people like my mom have aches and pains and can't sit or stand for long periods. So she asked the pharmacist what was taking so long. The pharmacist said that she was trying to complete my mom's paperwork and it would be about 10-15 more minutes. When customers complete the paperwork online, the staff should just be able to transfer that info to their own paperwork. Pharmacist said she was trying to fill prescriptions and do many other tasks, too. The man waiting before us was finally given his vaccination, 30 minutes late. My mom was finally given her vaccine 35 minutes late. I had scheduled my husband for his vaccination at this location too. I told him I was going to cancel his appointment, but he said he'd give it a try. Today, Nov 11, his appointment was scheduled for 1:45. He arrived at 1:35 and was the only one there for vaccination. A little after 2:00 they told him they were prepping the shot. He left at 2:30 without ever getting the shot. I thought Bartell's pharmacy was terrible, but this is so much worse. I understand staffing issues these days, and I try to be extra patient. I also know that corporations realize that if the pharmacy staff can do the job of six people with only four people, even if it angers their customers, they will do that and pocket the savings. These days, it's so easy for people to call Safeway or Costco or anywhere and have them transfer their prescriptions easily. I hope everyone reading this realizes that. read more

This pharmacy is terrible!!!!! I placed an order for a refill 2 weeks ago and it never got filled.....I stopped by a week later to pick up my other prescriptions and the one I ordered still wasn't refilled. I asked why and the pharmacist said it was a mistake and no one actually placed the order. Which I understand we all make mistakes. But I just went in today 09/23 to pick it up (btw I'm completely out of the medication) and they said again someone forgot to place the order. Well they just lost all of my business, I've been using this walgreens for the past 10 years and have spent multiple thousand of dollars with them. This isn't the first time I've had problems with the staff. About 5 months ago there cashier register went down and can only accept cash payments but they didn't state that to me. I was waiting at the window for the pharmacist to bring up all 5 of my prescriptions for about 15 minutes, then they finally told me that the cash register was broken. Now a good customer service representative would've stated the machine was down and cash is the only way of payment prior to me waiting for 15 minutes. Instead they wasted my time.. I swear just about every Walgreens I've ever stepped into feels like it's dirty, filled with food and drink items that are past their experation date, and not very organized when it comes to everything else. Service sucked. The lady that I talked to on my last call in was very nice and helpful, but the man I spoke with before her was horrible. I just recently switched insurances and was not aware that Walgreens does not accept the insurance that I switched to when I called to ask about what the delay was with the prescription I had transferred there. The man who took my call was very rude and short and while I was asking a question to understand what was going on he got impatient and said "yeah ok" and then just hung up on me without even listening to my question or trying to answer it. Maybe he needs a day off? Maybe they need more support so he can fix his attitude? But I will never recommend another Walgreens to anyone here in the state of WA again because what a horrible experience. This has been our Walgreens since we moved into the area in 2014. The service is generally pretty good, we run a lot of prescriptions through and the pharmacists are nice (especially the managing pharmacist, Jamie - he knows us by name and is always super friendly and helpful). They've become a trusted healthcare partner. My wife loves the cosmetics area, she purchases a lot there. All in all a great shop, we'll miss it if we ever move. read more

They acted bothered and put out like how dare I call them and ask to check there stock on an item . I like this Walgreens (for the pharmacy). The pharmacists and the assistants are really nice. I imagine they have to put up with a lot when they tell people they scripts aren't filled because their doctors have said no or their insurance won't cover it today or people aren't happy about the price of their meds. My sister got her wisdom teeth out today, and I was calling this place to ask if they had ice packs that wrapped around the ear, you know, the kind that wraps around the jaw. First of all the automatic answering machine is such a pain. I continued to ask for an employee to talk to, and the machine kept asking me what I needed and then tried to answer questions, it was like an endless loop. Once I finally got to an employee, he put me on hold for about ten minutes, I get it, stores get busy and the customer on the phone is the last of priority, no hard feelings on that one. What I was really frustrated with, was when I asked the employee that finally answered about the ice pack, I got hit with attitude and a "I don't care/idiot tone" that is extremely frustrating, especially over the phone. I work retail, and I know how to answer the damn phone when a customer is talking to me, don't have a monotone voice, and be demeaning when someone asks a question. Answer the question with a peppy and respectful voice, and when the conversation is over, end it with "have a nice day" or "thank you" instead of "bye." read more

Bad photo printing service, i came to print my passport photos from my flash driver, but the guy worked night shift didn't print them for me and he said passport photos must be taken here to be printed otherwise he charged me full price for my own photos. That's weird since I walked in in the morning and could make a print, but at night, that guy was suck! And be noticed that the printing quality was not sharp, i would recommend instant prints from Walmart in 164th St. read more

We recently moved here from Bellevue and have had such a good experience at this store I had to leave a review. I've always liked going to Walgreens for our prescriptions because it's so easy when we travel and their app is easy to use when refilling. I've been a Walgreens customer for over 20 years and I really didn't want to change that. Shortly after we moved to Bellevue the store on 24th street opened and I was excited to have one close to home. It was never a great store, but the pharmacy has been becoming increasingly horrendous to work with. Some of the folks there are nice, but for the most part they were rude, terrible to communicate with, LONG lines, etc. In January one of my kids was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and we were spending so much time at the pharmacy that I decided it was time to break up with Walgreens. I was about to switch pharmacies when I realized that we would only be living in Bellevue for about two more months, I decided to hang in there until we moved and tried out a new Walgreens. My rope was so thin that one bad experience at our new Walgreens would have sent me packing. I'm pleased to report that everyone I've encountered has been awesome!! I'm always in and out quickly and when I ask a question they can answer it confidently. I'm so happy I can stay with Walgreens!! read more
