This Walgreens doesn't seem to ever be fully stocked, I have no idea why, but there are always empty spots on the shelves, usually for the things I need. I normally only come here for photo pick-up and they seem to do that just fine, but that's really all I'd come here for, especially based on the other reviews. read more

I wouldn't recommended it. We took our photos there to be developed and they told us it would be ready by the end of the week. It wasn't ready FOR AN ENTIRE MONTH. Every time we called, we got attitude from the workers. I won't be shopping here for anything again. There's a CVS right down the street from here, much better costumer service. read more

The store is clean. The customer service from employees (non pharmacy) is pretty good. However, I use this store mostly for the pharmacy which will stop going forward. The pharmacy staff and new pharmacist are rude. There use to be an older gentleman pharmacist that was very nice and helpful. I have seen him in at least three years. The current pharmacist staff behaves as if they are doing you a favor by fulfilling your prescriptions. I guess they don't realize they are down the street from other mom and pop pharmacists and a CVS. So, if you are shopping, the store is OK. If you need your meds filled, go elsewhere until they swap out the rude pharmacy staff. read more

I've been going to this pharmacy for over five years. The staff has always been very helpful and nice. Yes, there have been occasional wait time issues, but I've never been to a pharmacy that didn't occasionally have the same. In fact, the reason I keep coming back to this place is because of longer wait times and less friendly service at other local pharmacies. I was shopping with my boyfriend today. While we were in the medicine area looking for cough drops I had picked up a bottle of sunscreen and started messing with the cap a little bit. While my boyfriend was choosing what cough drops he wanted this worker comes in between us and starts restocking the whole section of cough drops, while we were shopping the section. It's fine, we both stepped back and watched her cause it was kind of odd. We are waiting for her to be done and I start messing with the cap of the sunscreen. She stopped restocking the shelves and immediately looks at me and says "are you gonna buy that?" I thought that was a very odd question of her to ask me. I said "umm why" and she replied "cause you really shouldn't be messing with the cap". I wouldn't even be messing with the cap of the bottle if she wouldn't have interrupted what I was looking at... anyway, I told her it's fine it has a safety seal. She was very rude and told me just give it to her. She left her hand open and waited for me to give it to her like I was a toddler in day care. I looked at my boyfriend and he was just as confused as I was. I finally just give it to her and she continues to restock the cough drops. My boyfriend and I are still waiting for her to finish so we can get the cough drops and she says "is there something I can help you with?" in a very judgmental tone. ummmmmmm..... are you serious. We leave the isle and head to the check out. She is called up to check someone else out but was eyeballing me the whole time at the other register. She was very rude and must've assumed the worst because of my age. Although I am an adult I'm still young and can't be treated as a respected customer in her eyes. Very disappointed Walgreens! This pharmacy is terrible. They rarely fill scripts in a timely fashion and are consistently short staffed causing long lines and wait times. Tonight we waited in line for 15 minutes to be told they were not filling anymore prescriptions, with 2 hours left till they close, what? Isn't that what a pharmacy does?? I have been going to this pharmacy for years and in the last 2 years it has really gone down hill. Like stated in other reviews, the gentleman that is the pharmacist is very very nice and helpful. But that's the only reason I even give 1 star. I have waited in the drive thur for more than 40 minutes. Even though they have a mirror in the drive through they don't take you in the order you arrive. (Trust me, they are not attentive enough to see when everyone arrives.) The young ladies that work there are so slow I think they are back manufacturing the meds while you wait. And rude, ugh, would it kill them to smile and be kind. Ok, if you can't be kind, fake it. If there was any, any, any pharmacist between them and 75, I would change, but there's not so I am stuck for now. I don't know if the poor things have not been trained properly but they cannot multi-task to save their lives. My meds are often not ready or complete. If you call in refill and you need your docs ok, that is another 1 or 2 days of waiting and even then you may have to call back and forth to make sure things are getting done. I really love when I go there looking half dead, with a antibiotic script and they ask if I need this today. It's a "freaking" antibiotic I "needed" it yesterday. I normally don't write negative reviews but today I was in line and there were 3 other ladies and we were all just at our wits end. Hands down WORST pharmacy ever. My prescriptions are never ready on time and they have a new young girl who has a horrible attitude. Today is the last time I will ever be filling my prescriptions at this location. Waited 20 minutes for her to figure out my prescription was still being worked on, and this was at 145 pm the day AFTER it was suppose to be ready at 7 pm. I go to this one because of the convenience to my house but it ends up taking even more time. Long story short DO NOT GO HERE. It will waste your time. Worst pharmacists ever. read more

I received a gift card from Walgreens for Starbucks. The card was not activated so Starbucks would not honor it. I took the gift receipt and card to Walgreens and they would not honor the card. I reached out to their corporate customer support and they would not honor the gift card. So, why give a gift receipt? Terrible service! Came here for sales add sales. They were out of a lot of items. Also I bought some socks that had a coupon attached to them. The cashier would not accept the coupon because it expired. She should have given me the discount and went and removed all the coupons I bet the coupons are still on the socks waiting for the next customer to get screwed. read more

I've been going to Walgreens on Redbud and 380 McKinney for over 20 years and these past couple of trips were the worst.The pharmacist Lara was so rude and asking me so many questions about my daughter's meds and I was just there to pick up meds.She didn't give them all to me so I had to go the next day and she was there again grilling me with questions and threatened to call CPS AND withhold the rest of my daughter's prescriptions because she said I was uneducated about my daughter's condition so I literally had to explain all of my daughter's business in front of the whole store and she kept arguing and called the shift lead which I had already complained to the manager the day before. I kept asking her what is her problem.She is nosy and apparently racist .I kept telling her that my daughter has her doctors that she goes to ,I dont need to be explaining anything to her.And she had just received her food from somewhere and was eating and had it all spread out on the counter back there in the pharmacy. I think I will be switching pharmacies after all of these years.No one should have to get upset picking up their meds. read more

This is the worst pharmacy ever! We used this pharmacy for several years and never was there not some problems with our insurance,the meds being out of stock,waiting for hours or days to get a prescriptions filled,rude help!We finally had enough and moved to Walmart at Custer Rd. and 380 ,fast ,efficient service. We were in the area and decided to get a flu shot at this Walgreens ,our insurance covers flu shots ,but of course there was a problem again with our insurance according to them! We drove to Walmart got our shots no problem at all!!!! I would say go to Walmart or CVS . Walgreens cooperate office needs to find out the problem in this location as there is serious issues! The worst pharmacy ever! Long lines and wait every time. Awful costumer service. I went to pick up a prescription and was told that there is another one waiting for me. I asked the person at the window what was my prescription for and without any shame she said she doesn't know but my doctor sent it and I need to buy it. There was no "let me ask the pharmacist to help you" or "why don't you talk to your doc first" or any other explanation. She then very rudely asked for my credit card. The rest of the staff r the same. It seems like rudeness and complete lack of knowledge are important job requirements in order to get hired in this location. read more

Horrible customer service at pharmacy. Always feel like I'm disturbing the employees when I wait in line or on the phone with them for 20+ minutes just to pick something up. Employees always taking breaks when there are long lines. Worst pharmacy experience I've ever had. Will be transferring my scripts ASAP to another pharmacy. read more

My rating is based on the pharmacy. First of all, the customer service is not good. My Dr. sent over 2 prescriptions at 11 a.m. I called at 1:05p to check when it would be ready. Woman who answered phone was very curt in telling me that the prescriptions were in process and I would receive a call when they ready. For the next 4 hours I monitored it by checking my online access to Rx status. The online message showed in process and then "filled" but not ready to pick. After close to six hours. I went to the pharmacy - one prescription was ready and the second one close to being ready - I had to wait about another 15minutes and finally able to pick them up at 6p. While waiting I heard the woman at the counter telling other customers "you have to wait until we call you -- it could be another three hours". Something is severely wrong at this pharmacy to have to wait 6 hours for a prescription. I used this pharmacy often in the past and didn't have these issues so either there is a staffing issue or a management issue. Bottom line is if you need your medicine in a reasonable amount of time, you may want to avoid this pharmacy. read more
