It's not a surprise this location has such a low rating. Pharmacist Daniel is not a big help when I struggled with them attempting to add my insurance. The system was giving an error. I quickly walked outside to get my Rx care team True Script on the phone for guidance/ help for myself as to why this error was popping up. I put the call on speaker, walked back in to the pharmacy and had Daniel talk to them as to why there is an issue. After a quick conversation back and forth with the two and both the pharmacist and I being frustrated, the pharmacist simply said... " We are closed". What????? We are on the middle of solving a problem with the Rx rep on the phone and I am try to get my Rx. I looked at him and explained that my husband had this same issue at a different location and they are able to fix it, I told him o understood that they are "now closed" / 5:00 on the dot and that he wanted to get out of there and get home and that I would be going else where. The Walgreens is fine, but should not be dealing with FedEx packages. I needed to return a package at a FedEx location, so I came into this Walgreens. I screenshot the return label because the link for the QR code was not working. Although I agree with the person who helped me that using a QR code is easier, there should still be a system in place where you can simply print out a return label on a regular printer! I had to go through the Walgreens app and pay for prints on stock paper (!!!) in order for them to print out my return label. Even though it's not much to pay for one "photo," it's the principal of it. It should be pretty simple to send a return label to a regular printer. Especially for a place that sends and receives packages for FedEx! So, if you're going to return packages at this Walgreens, be sure to have a QR code, or you will have to pay for a photo. read more

There is a new female pharmacist there, who is extremely rude!! I wish I could find out her name, but she may be of Indian ethnicity. I had major dental surgery a couple weeks ago, drilling screws into my jaw. My Dr prescribed me pain meds and because she said there were "interactions" she didn't want to fill it. It's not her decision to fill it or not. My pain management Doctor decided that it was safe for me to have this medication. She then asks.. "Are you still in pain?!" and I said, of course I'm still in pain, that's why my Dr ordered the meds. She then replies, "okay I'll do it this one time". Can she even do that??!! I need a new prescription filled and I'm literally afraid to call there to have it filled. read more

if you are smart you will never use this Walgreens for anything....they are the worst of the worst....last time I waiting in their way too long of a wait drive thru and this gal asked me if I had any questions for the Pharmacist....I said no....so she disappears and I thought she was getting bag for my 4 scrips....but she never comes back....after 2-3 minutes I start honking my horn....still nothing...after a least a full 5 minutes this African guy in a lab coat comes to the window and asks if i have any questions....I go ballistic having already answered that question.....there are 4-5 cars piling up behind me....so I thought it was an isolated case....wrong again....i go today and the gal asks me if I have any questions for the Pharmacist.....again I say no....she hangs up the phone they use to talk to the drive in.....and turns around facing the indoor counter....then this ahole with a lab coat named Daniel picks up the phone and asks me again if I had any questions....I look at him and say why are you asking me that....I just told her no (she is standing right behind him).....and he said well I didn't know that....why didn't she tell him...??? so I say they are clueless on how to run a business.....and he said...."if you're going to talk to us like that then don't come back"....oh course that when I cussed him up one side and down the other....he slams the drawer open at me while I'm yelling at him.....I took my 2 scrips and drove off....the ahole didn't give me back my debit card....so in lieu of going back to ask for it then having to whip his ass....I just reported it lost now I have to wait 6-7 days for a new one....I am changing to CVS and you should too....DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THESE TOTAL AHOLES.......!!!! read more

The drive thru pharmacy is so slow, I honestly haven't been to a slower location. It's unfortunate this one is right by our house but honestly it may be faster for me to drive out of my way then have to wait here. It seems like they allow people to just sit and wait while they get their prescription ready which is so rude of not only the customer who is holding up the line but this pharmacy that's allowing it. Waiting 40 minutes when there were only 2 cars in front of me is outrageous. My prescription was ready so I was talked to and out of there 5 minutes later which is how it should be. read more

Plan your lunch break trips very carefully to avoid wasting time. If you get here at 123p but 2 cars ahead of you push you past 130 - oh well. Too bad. Your problem & not the pharmacy's. You will not be taken care of. They also close at 6p now most weekdays so don't work too late & try to come at the beginning of your lunch break. I don't understand what the issue is here at this pharmacy. I called on Thursday, Jan 16th at 9:02am to refill a prescription because the phone system would not let me refill the prescription. I asked my prescription to be refilled and asked for my doctor to be contact right away as 1) her office would be closed on Friday. 2) I leave for business trip on Monday morning and would not be back until Jan 24. We'll I show up Saturday to pick up my medicine and they did a partial refill!!! The rest will be in on Monday. How in heck do you except me to pick up a medication that is life altering when I'm out of the state?!!!! I've had nothing but issues with this pharmacy. 2/18- Spoke with the store manager last week and he ensured me that all my prescriptions were on auto refill. Well NOPE they are not. Had to call in a prescription tonight and the system asked me if I wanted to put it on auto refill. 3/2- called in a prescription. WASNT IT SUPPOSE TO BE ON AUTOMATIC REFILL?!!!!! read more

Me and my Friends were inside of Walgreens walking around, trying to find drinks and stuff to add to the drinks because we were out on scooters the whole day and it was hot but as we were inside of the store, we had a worker follow us around for a total timer 20 minutes until I finally turned around and said something and she told me to mind my own business. She was very rude and I will never be coming back to this Walgreens. I hope that she can understand that she needs to mind her own business, and that I was protecting myself, because I was being followed around by a fifth year-old woman. She was extremely rude, and I will be calling and leaving a complaint. The only reason we were in there for 20 minutes is because we were trying to cool off from being out on scooters. Dear Walgreens: for the love of all that is holy, HIRE MORE STAFF. There are exactly 3 regular non-pharmacist employees who work here that I am aware of. Here are some other fun numbers: -McKinney is the 2nd fastest growing city in America. -The next closest Walgreens are 4 miles and 6 miles away, respectively. -Within a 6 miles radius of this Walgreens, there are 6-8 hospitals. It doesn't matter what time of day you visit. It doesn't matter if you use the drive-thru or you go inside. The following will be true: -There will be a hellish line. -The medication you requested for refill 12 hours ago will not be ready. Even if you specifically asked for it to be ready in 12 hours. Even if they confirmed it would be ready in 12 hours. Sometimes, just for fun, they decide to hold up the entire drive-thru line while they fill the prescription of one person. Added fun: you're trapped in the left lane behind that person while in the right lane, two cars get helped and are on their merry way. You're still sitting there. P.S. the three sad employees don't get paid NEARLY enough for the amount of rage they must have to put up with from people like me. So don't blame this on them. Blame this on a corporation that apparently doesn't understand supply and demand. read more

This is our neighborhood Walgreens and it's decent. It's just another box store that looks the same as all the others. I could be in another city in another state and walk into the same store. It's typically clean and the employees are......well they're high school kids that don't give a crap! The photo department is great, they've been really helpful! read more

Submitted photos that I needed ASAP and had pickup time of 9:20am. I received no call or notification that their system was down. When I finally followed up at 1pm they said they have no way of printing. As I needed them today it was very disappointing/frustrating. Manager offered no solution and had a "don't care" type attitude which in turn made me mad enough to just cancel. Lucky the Walgreens is not my only option and would rather give my money to another company. read more

After being hung up on, twice, by the Pharmacy (never got a chance to even tell them what the issue was, so it wasn't a customer issue), I figured I'd give them a review. The call was prompted by them calling me to tell me they had something ready, but not knowing anything about something they were holding "pending". Turns out I need a "consultation" (likely an error, since it is a prescription repeatedly filled). Would be nice if they were proactive and called, since they could call when they weren't busy, to avoid calls when they were. I have had many prescriptions filled here. I don't mind waiting, but it is almost impossible to get in touch with anyone to get any help, unless you go into the store. Quality of help varies wildly. The "chat" function on the company website is useless, since they refer you to call the pharmacy for anything beyond basic questions. I am fortunate to have good insurance, but I have noticed in businesses where you don't pay directly (Doctors, Pharmacies, etc) you are often treated as if they are doing you a favor. I think if one was actually paying the cash price of the medication or service, treatment would be different. Can you imagine being treated this way when shelling out $300 (or more) for something? read more

Absolute worst Walgreens I've ever been in. At any given time of day or evening, they are understaffed. Today was icing on the cake - 6:15pm...waiting 20 mins in drive thru pharmacy to pick up a prescription. The car in front of us was not moving!! Got out of drive thru line and went in. 2 people ahead of me, one person working store counter AND drive thru window. Waited 20 additional minutes only to get to the counter and the incredibly rude, inconsiderate & unprofessional girl working tells me prescription wasn't ready because insurance didn't release it yet. However, we have a text and email saying it was ready to pick up. Her response...we don't send those, they come from corporate!! Are you kidding me!?!?! I asked - so it's filled but you just can't release. No! "We can't fill it until it's released." Told her we'd be back tomorrow at 9am. As I'm leaving the store, 7 people in line at the front, one person working. Where is management and why is this store ALWAYS understaffed? Our previous visit - the store has a lady named Kate working the front counter & she mocked my sister when she asked how her day was. My sister was sick and could barely reply but this lady felt it was funny to mock her voice. I can assure Walgreens corporate is getting a phone call tomorrow. I can handle a poor experience when it's the holidays - they are worked all hours and dealing with customers in retail can be a challenge. But to be told the texts that your prescription is ready is pointless because it "comes from corporate" - unacceptable!!! Good luck Walgreens. I stood in line for an half hour to drop of my prescription last night, went back today and they had misplaced my script! Evil place! No matter what your prescription is, it will take at least an hour to fill. I HATE going to Walgreens. Even though it's closer and had a deal where you can get mail order prescriptions there. The last time I went, my husband had dropped off his prescription several hours earlier. After more than 20 minutes in the drive through (I was the only car there, the entire time, and sending texts to hubby about how much he was going to owe me...) I left without his medicine because they hadn't filled it yet. I give it two stars because the OTC and other items inside the building are fine. I've used this Walgreens since I moved to Prosper. The PHARMACY service has gotten worse and worse. Today was the worst. The text system contacted me that my prescriptions were ready. This is the 3rd time I've arrive to be told that my prescription was not ready. Even worse, I was told that I'd already picked up my prescription. Oh, there's more... I left the drive thru to enter the store to clarify the problem. I was ask to sit down in the chair and NO ONE EVER CAME OR REACHED OUT TO TALK TO ME! I finally stepped up to the counter and the pharmacist lady acted as if I was bothering her because I just wanted to know what the status was. I actually felt sorry for the little checker, but the pharmacist lady was negatively irresponsible and uncaring about customer service. Wish I could give her half a star. read more

These pharmacy workers are overwhelmed, overworked, short staffed, and highly frustrated ... in my experience. Despite this... they are trying to be nice and be helpful. Appreciated. However, every month for the past 7-8 months there is a different issue or complication with the only prescription I fill there ... causing long wait times and several return trips. Every month. How can that be? (Can't find it. Oh ... right there all along. - Filled brand name. Wait for generic. - None in stock. Come back in 3 days. - Tried to close for lunch - after I had been waiting in line. - Have to redo it due to using a GoodRX code. Come back later. Etc...) I was ever hopeful that "the next month" all would go smoothly but no. Changing pharmacies. I wish their staff best of luck ... but they may want to change pharmacies, too. I was very disappointed with the lack of help from Pharmacist Boomie (sp?). I had some questions about the allergy/cold products behind the counter and she kept trying to get rid of me to avoid discussing medicine and the ingredients. This was very frustrating since my son is asthmatic with a sensitivity to dye combined with epileptic so I have to make sure to get the best information. One time after leaving in the middle of questions she just acted like she was trying to work while poor Tony tried to get her to come over. Once she finished shuffling some papers she came back and told me the main difference between the medicine behind the counter and the ones on the other side was because you could make meth with some. Seriously?!?! Diane also tried to also avoid me and acted like she didn't know the pharmacist's name when I requested it and then ran to pick up a phone call. The only good thing going for this department was Tony. He was a ray of sunshine and very nice. I feel sorry that he has to work with such an unprofessional group that tries to avoid customers. Fortunately for me there are plenty of other pharmacies in the area to chose from. read more

This is the rudest Walgreens pharmacy I've ever been to, not only is the pharmacist rude but the techs are rude as well. My husband went the other night and waited in the drive through - there was still a few minutes before 9 o'clock (btw,the website said the pharmacy closed at 10) they told him they were sorry that they were closing in a few minutes and they could not give him his prescription he would need to come back in the morning which he was leaving town now w/o his meds- very rude. Every time I call it is like I am bothering them. If you're looking for a pharmacy, keep looking. read more

Bita was the pharmacist on duty who was eating while attending to my husband, not only is that unprofessional but rude. this location has a bad reputation for service, but being as its about 2 mintues from our house and the price is very fair we decided to send our prescriptions here. Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined my husband becoming a victim of malpractice by your "pharmacists"! His prescription was ready and packaging was correct so he paid, like normal, and went home not thinking his antbiotics would be something else. He opened the packaging on next day when I woke him up, as the normal time, around 7 am to drink his breakfast shake and take his medication that he normally takes 3 times a day with every meal. he took his medication as normal the realized later on that the medication was under someone else's name! - take this medication 1/2 before meals. his normal medication is to take medication with his meals 3x a day. the label on the bottle is for gemfibrozil with 600 mg and his normal medication is an antibiotic clindamycin 150 mg. huge difference! called pharmacy (i have record of all calls to this location from my personal and work phone including names and conversations), and not any sign of remorse was shown. i also informed them that heavens forbid my husband would have been pulled over with this medication for, "martha", on his person that could result in a criminal charge. All because someone at this location doesn't pay enough attention. Another review on line shows that this isnt the first time this has happened to someone. Walgreens needs to fix their issues with their irresponsible, rude, and unethical employees and find some good well hearted people. my own belief is that a pharmacist is someone who chose that career move to help people not make them afraid for their lives! malpractice is not okay and certainly from people youre supposed yo be trusting! diane, kathy, bita and all pharmacists there should really change their attitude or get another job- something must be done...walgreens your reputation is on the line look at your reviews at this location have you no shame?!?! read more
