This review is for the Photo Department that was staffed by Mary Ann and Kenjge. Fantastic service! I just wanted to go in and out of that store to print one 4 X 6 photograph. I walked up to the photo kiosk and tried to interpret what I'm supposed to do next. Mary Ann quickly greeted me and helped to go through all the options. It was so nice of her. And then I printed out the photo. Mary Ann was assisting another customer with passport photos. But no problem, Kenjge (sp?) stepped up to the plate and offered "I can help you". He got my 1 picture, I paid, and left the store. I think it took me a total of 4 minutes! Best experience ever. Thank you for your friendly and prompt service! read more

I dropped the prescription for my 2 yr old son and the pharmacist named NHU said she will give it to me in 15 minutes and I checked in at 15 minutes she said it is still in making process and then after 30 minutes NHU discovered , actually the supervisor discovered that is not even started or validating the prescription then. Then this pharmacist NHU went into make the medicine and said will be done within few minutes and yes then it came after 15 minutes. I always go to CVS and this time dropped here and it was horrible experience. Would not come here again. read more

The staff here seem to take their time and are not that friendly. They seem to be thorough but not enough that they take as long as they do. I really wish they would work with a sense of urgency and keep you informed on what is going on with your medications, like when you need a refill or that they put it away after 2days. read more

Very bad store. Had a very bad experience here. After handing over the prescription, they asked me to come after 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, they mentioned they do not have one of the medicines. I asked them to give the rest, and they went ahead and stamped the prescription, and then told me that they dont have the rest in stock as well and will have to order to get it tomorrow. I need the medicines then itself. I told them that I need it today and wanted the prescription back, but they said they have stamped it now and I will have to get it from walgreens. After arguing about this finally they agreed to talking to another pharmacy on phone, where I can find the medicines. read more

The worst service I have ever experienced at any pharmacy. They are disorganized and understaffed every time I do go there. Last time I was waiting for a prescription they said it would be a half hour wait, after 50 minutes I went up to the counter and they had lost the paperwork and had to redo everything. This is not the first time something like this has happened. Something goes wrong every single time I do go here. I recommend going to another pharmacy or another Walgreens location. You are better off driving across town to CVS and back, it will save you time overall. read more

I came here to make a poster and a banner. I was told that my banner and poster would be done by 5:15. I went to big 5 for a good 45 minutes to kill time so when I come back to pick up my prints, they would be some what ready. I come back and NOBODY even printed my banner and poster yet. Maybe if I came here to print regular 8x10's I wouldn't mind waiting but not for a poster or a banner. That takes approximately an hour the reason why I did it ahead of time was to avoid waiting. On top of that, when I explained the situation to the manager and asked for some type of discount for the inconvenience THEY caused she was giving me a bunch of attitude. I use the pharmacy here as it's so close to my home. Customer service here otherwise is ordinary. Today I went get a passport size photo and I was helped by a lady called Maryanne I think. When I saw the digital print I could see that my head was tilted. I pointed that to her and asked if we should take another. She sounded very impatient and said she'd straighten it up during post processing. When the final print came out you bet it was still tilted. All of that attitude and 2 copies of passport sized pictures for $11.99+tax. I'll still use the pharmacy since its convenient but photos or other shopping I'm going somewhere else. read more

Erica and all the other staff in the pharmacy are fantastic. Everyone in the store is very helpful. The area that they stand out is that they are not trying to sell you something but rather focus on making sure you have a great customer experience. Can I not give any star to this branch? They don't deserve a star. On Feb 24, past 6pm, came in to browse while waiting for a friend I am having dinner with at Chilis. While looking through at the candy aisle, staff filling in the stocks didn't even bother to move the cart, as if she did not see a customer. Then a customer passed by and she said, can I help you? What a b****! She tried to ignore me and to think that we are both Asians. I know she is a Filipino by her accent (when she asked the other customer) A bigger disappointment at the register. The amount that the cashier rung up totalled $39 something which I know that the items I got is way less than that. The cashier insisted that he's sure that's the total amount. I said, I'm sure, it's not. So he billed me, I paid and told him I will check my receipt. TRUE ENOUGH, he overcharged the sunblock which was only $3.99 and he charged me $12.99!!! I gave it back to him, he gave me refund WITH NO SORRY at all. Is this how customer service is all about at this Walgreens? Thumbs down!!! read more

Walgreens VIOLATES HIPAA rights!! I am COMPLETELY appalled!! I was in a motorcycle accident over a week ago and cannot get Walgreens on Calaveras in Milpitas,CA to fill my pain medication for my broken bones...why? Because my doctor does not want to violate my HIPAA rights and Walgreens Pharmacy's Manager, Lisa, insists on knowing all of my medical information!! After yelling at me over the phone for about half an hour...she told me to have my doctor prescribe a different medication, and told me EXACTLY which medication to have him write it for. She said if I did this, she would fill it. Then, after going all over town the next day, (my doctor is in a different city), broken and in immense pain, I did as she asked and then she got upset because my doctor prescribed a different brand of medication from the one that she wanted me to get, it was the same medication, just different brand. When I took it back to her, she said, "This is not what I told you to get!" (Really?? Is she getting a kick back by the manufacturer???) I apologized profusely, explaining that I asked my doctor for the brand that she wanted, but he gave me a different one...she was still upset with me and told me that she would not fill it unless my doctor told her my, and I quote, "history, the diagnosis, the treatment plan", etc. I told her, "I was hit by a car and am broken...that is the diagnosis and the plan is for me to heal!" My doctor gave her all of the info that he legally could so that she would fill it, she then called me and said she was refusing to fill it and told me to find anther pharmacy...after over a WEEK of being in pain, suffering from being broken and beat up, and running all over town to suit HER!!! Come to find out, direct from Lisa, that Walgreens Calaveras Pharmacy in Milpitas has had multiple audits recently and I guess that pharmacy is not doing what it is supposed to do...she mentioned being concerned about having to go to court. So...Walgreens Pharmacy does some shady transactions with medications, gets audited and busted for it, and that gives them the right to violate my HIPAA rights??? Way to go Walgreens!! Guess I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on...too bad, this had been my family's pharmacy for generations...guess this proves what Walgreens thinks about Family and Community!! read more

I have to say how eternally grateful I am for this Walgreens. My infant daughter has a severe milk allergy before I found out I just thought she was a colicky baby if her eyes were open she was crying, then one day there was blood in her diaper I panicked the doctor said it was a severe milk allergy. I tried nutramigen and even though she was happier she would writhe when she ate and spit up most of it she lost weight and was at the 6th percentile for weight at get doctor visit. Until I found PurAmino. She gained 4 pounds in a month and was the happiest baby ever. Only problem is you can only find it online until I found it at this Walgreens I believe it is the only place in Northern California that carries it. I don't know what we would so without this Walgreens. Ordering online waiting for shipping is sometimes not a option.and every time my husband or I have gone we are very impressed by the kindness of the staff. So very very thankful! read more

He said the photo is a pass to him even one of my ears is missing in the photo, and said I should take care of my hair when I was waiting, but he said nothing when took the photo. The Pharmacy is managed horribly. I have picked up meds here many times and it is always so s l o w ........ but the other day was more than I can stay quiet about. When I got to the Pharmacy drive-up there were 2 cars ahead of me. It took 19 minutes to be first in line. It then took 6 minutes for 1 of 3 pharmacists to bother to come to the window. BE AWARE THAT THE DRIVE UP IS SERVICED WHEN ALL THE CUSTOMERS INSIDE HAVE BEEN SERVED. How horribly managed is it that they have 3 people working there and only ONE it tasked to handle the cash registers, and the priority is NOT to have 2 people work BOTH inside and outside customers? I moved all my scripts to Walgreen's because of pricing AND the drive up window. At this point, I am rethinking my decision - I don't believe this very bad management is worth my frustration and wasted time. read more

Walgreen Pharmacy Milpitas makes me wait over 40 minutes for filling prescription. Not quick service. Price is much higher compare to Walmart Pharmacy. The exact same antibiotics costs me 300% more at Walgreen of Milpitas in Calaveras Blvd compare to Walmart Pharmacy in Milpitas. I wish this Walgreent Pharmacy has a customer service telephone number for consumers to call ahead and ask for specific time of arrival. So that we do not have to wait for prescription to be filled. read more
