I am very sick. My doctor tested me and i have Flu - A. My doctor told me it was essential to take two doses of Tamiflu today. She sent the prescription in at 2:00. She said it is very important that you take one dose as soon as you pick up the prescription and the second when you go to bed. I checked on the prescription using the APP and it said it will be ready at 4:30. Then at 4:30 the App said they were running late. To make a long story short, my wife was waiting for the prescription in the pharmacy. At 7:00 they slammed shut the gate and they were closed. You have got to be kidding me. They deserve less than 1 star, been here 6 times and keep giving them chances to get better with their service for pharmacy but they keep forgetting to fill my order or drive thru wait times are an hour. They can only give prescriptions when the main pharmacist is in site so even if they leave to the rest room they can't give you your prescriptions! What a joke of a place. read more

I understand that these are different times. Stores are short on help. However, ever since I started using this store for my prescriptions, before the pandemic, I have been totally unhappy with their pharmacy service. The drive thru line was actually giving COVID tests. So everyone behind these people taking the test had to wait all the time it takes for that to happen, now since no tests are available, I thought the line would be shorter. So today, I go to pick up my prescription, there are 6 people waiting in line at the drive through, and 7 people waiting inside. I really need a place I can go to that I don't have to spend 1/2 hour waiting in line. read more

I've been coming to this pharmacy for the last 5 years. My wife has been going for the last 10 years. While I can agree with most of these reviews about the staff there is one employee who stands above the rest. A young man named David Ramirez helped us today with our wedding invitations. He walked us through the photo kiosk and while they were printing we looked for mct oil. No one in the store had even heard of it. In fact every employee looked at us like we were making it up. We went back to David to get our prints and asked him. He said "oh yea no problem we don't have it in store but here it is on our online purchasing" gave us a list of brands and prices to choose from. The reason I'm writing this review is to bring attention to this guy. He deserves a pay raise or promotion. I'd even hire him at our company if I had an available position. David gave us better customer service in 20 minutes than my wife has had there in 10 years and had heard of a common product used for one of the most popular diets where as the pharmacy staff stared at us blankly literally with their mouths open as is someone finally forced them to think. I do not recommend coming here for any pharmaceutical needs. The staff seems entirely computer illiterate, when asking your phone number they can't handle more than a single number at a time. It shouldn't take 4-5 minutes to communicate your phone number. Just imagine the time it took to also get down my SSN and address. Furthermore I'm here in the early afternoon on a Monday. There is nobody else here, and the staff looks like they're just lounging around. She said if I wait here it will be 45-60 minutes, if I leave it will be 2-3 hours. I said I had one errand to run at Lowe's a couple minutes away, she said I had to physically be in the store if I wanted to wait only 2-3 times what I've come to expect from ANY other pharmacy I've been to, so instead of being able to drop off a prescription, run my errands and then pick it up like I can anywhere else, I'm going to have to make an entirely separate trip. What is wrong with this company? They absolutely do not care about anyone's wellness. The pharmacy is so under staffed that you have to wait forever to pick up your meds. I'm on hold on the phone now trying to get my 6 year old son's prescription transferred to cvs because A) walgreens only had 2 of the 10 day supply in stock and expected me to come back another day to pick up the rest and B) cvs faxed Walgreens the transfer request OVER 3 HOURS AGO and walgreens hasn't responded yet. When I called to find out why walgreens hadn't responded yet, the idiot who answered tried to brush me off. When i asked if they even received the fax, he told me only a pharmacist can check and they're too busy to talk to me right now. HORRIBLE!!!! I told them that cvs didn't allow them to get a flu shot because they are minors and they have to see the primary doctor. So i want to make sure that they have a different policy. Went in here to get a vaccine for shingles. Filled out a pre-registration appointment online and went to the store. After going to a window that said vaccine check-in, I waited for a few minutes and finally a pharmicist with a mask that didn't even cover his nose, told me rudely that I should go to the next window over. Once someone finally waited on me there, it took 2 more people to try to get me checked in for my appointment. Finallyafter 20 minutes of them trying to figure out how to register me, they said my medicare information wasn't going into the computer??? Anyhow, since it had now been 20 minutes and they weren't even close to getting me registered, even though it only took me 2 minutes to do it online earlier, I just gave up and left. Went to CVS Pharmacy down the street and got checked in, got my shot by a very professional pharmacist, and was given verbal and written information about follow up, and was on my way home after 6 minutes total from the time I arrived. It is worth the extra drive to CVS because in the long run it will save time and frustration. Walgreens isn't up to the task. read more

Terrible! If you rely on your covid test results or your covid test to be on time DO NOT go there. There system is messed up and your appointmen including conformation email can be voided at the day of your appointment. They will tell you to come another day even if you have a conformation email with an excuse that it was a system mistake...Absolutely Unacceptable! What a horribly ran establishment. It's not rocket science folks. Went there to pickup medication and wasted my time waiting about 30 minutes in line, they didn't have it correct. Lesson learned! So I call to confirm before I go to pickup up a second time. Wasted another 30 minutes as the order was still wrong which was opposite of what I was told on the phone. I called and wasted my time another 2 times for a whopping total of 4 visits and I still don't have my medicine. Keep it and shove it all up in your you know what Walgreens. I will be contacting my doctor and changing my location to something non Walgreens. I'll never recommend them, especially this location. Get some damn management and supervision ASAP and make sure your phone guidance matches up with the folks working the floor. I like this Walgreen's. Most of the bad reviews seem to be about the pharmacy which i have not been too. But the people at the front counter are nice. This location just doesn't have a much of a selection as some of the others. I do however find it odd that the protein bars are right across from the toilet paper though. Almost like some sort of commentary or that they think you'll have a lot of toilet time after eating one. read more

I have never been treated so horribly in my life. Ill mannered and rude staff, I waitied in line for over 30 minutes. My appointment was at 3:45 I waited from 3:30 to 4 before I was even acknowledged while standing in line. I gave the pharmacist my id and voucher then was given paperwork then stood in-line again for 20 more minutes then sat for another 20 minute before they even gave me my flu shot. I spent 1+ hour here for a flu shot. They need help on a full spectrum. I do not recommend for prescriptions or vaccines just go to your PC or other pharmacy. read more

Absolutely the worst service out of any pharmacy we have ever been to. There are always long lines, out of stock, etc, but a new low has been set at this one. The staff in the pharmacy other than one tech... dont care. My pregnant wife needs the same injections every 28 days as a result of a high risk pregnancy. They are now endangering her life and the baby by not answering calls and filling the wrong prescription multiple times. Waiting on hold for over an hour to confirm the medication is ready then going to the location to wait 30 minutes in line to find out it's wrong again. 4 days to get the prescription once, 30 days later it's another 2 day experience. For me they sent me home with a controlled substance that wasnt even prescribed to me, the DEA should be checking up on this pharmacy. I took it back and was told they couldn't take it back but I could dispose of it in the waste receptical. Something needs to be done about this location before someone suffers physical/mental/loss of life because of their incompetency. read more

I had a 1:10 pm appointment on 11/18 for a COVID-19 booster. The WORST customer service ever!! Waited 15 minutes at the window just to check in for my appointment and being completely IGNORED by staff. Asked multiple staff why I wasn't called for my appointment with no answers. Elderly people being ignored even though they had an appointment. The pharmacy staff took a person that DIDN'T have an appointment and let her cut in front of many of us that did. The pharmacy tech called me in at 1:55 pm for my 1:10 pm appointment only to be pushed aside by a patient with NO APPOINTMENT & the vaccination tech allowing this. THE WORST STAFF EVER!!!!!!! As caretaker for my 92 year old mother I HAVE to deal with this place since it's her pharmacy. And just when I thought they could not disappoint me more, they have done it again. Her medication was called in at 11 am, by 3 they had not called to say it was ready. NO WAY they will answer their phone (I waited 40 minutes), drove there, they told me that there was a "hold" on her prescription because of a listed allergy. No problem, I get it, safety first. But NO CALL to say there was a problem, and NOT answering the phone? Unacceptable. The clerk told me "they only call if there is an insurance problem". So, if it means they don't get paid they will take the time to call. But if there is ANY other issue, then you can sit and wait. HORRIBLE attitude from the staff every time I go there, as if I'm an inconvenience for doing business there. Been this way for years now. Had to fill a prescription last night at around 1:00am and I remembered how amazing this Walgreens used to be so I dropped in. Handed over my 'script to the pharmacist who was a very nice and helpful woman. They needed to update my address since it had been so long since I was there last and attempted to add my insurance but the "system was down" or something and I was told to come back at 2:30am when it was re-booted. Ehh not great but okay. I come back later and run over a glass bottle which exploded like an IED and did literally send glass shards flying in all directions in their very front parking space in full view of the counter and door and now have glass embedded in my tire. The very front spot. Visible from the inside. Nobody thought to remove a bottle. Trash. From their own lot. Right outside their front door. Right next to a trashcan. Nobody? I go in already pissed and the pharmacist tells me they don't take my insurance but I could wait until morning to go to (insert list of places that does) or pay out of pocket. Why would you not check to see if Walgreens accepts my insurance when you were adding it in the first time and have saved me the added time in pain waiting for a 'script fill and saved me the money out of pocket being basically forced into a situation where I either have to cough it up (literally and figuratively last night) or continue suffering? Real nice woman but that one oversight not checking the insurance at the time I first handed it to her cost me more time in pain and over $100 more out of pocket. Asked the kid who was supposedly the manager why nobody thought to clear the glass bottles in the parking lot on my way out. He told me he dosen't think Walgreens owns the parking lot so it's not their problem. read more

i don't usually tend to leave negative reviews because after the pandemic and working in the medical field myself, i understand how most companies are short staffed and over worked but this pharmacy doesn't even deserve any type of consideration since they're not considerate when it comes to patient care whatsoever. i've been going to them for almost a year due to being the closest pharmacy to my house BUT every single time i've gone to pick up my prescriptions i've encountered so many issues and i was extremely understanding of them until the last incident i had. i take medication for panic attacks, i go every month and pick up my meds here and the last time i went they told me my insurance was out of coverage which was absolutely not true, i explained to the lady that i'm a military wife and that there's no reason why i shouldn't have my insurance active, she said she couldn't administer my meds and that i needed to get in contact with tricare so i did... tricare said they didn't understand why she would say that when my insurance had NO issues. they gave me all my insurance information so i called again... multiple times and no answer. The next day i decided to show up with all the information and they stated that it wasn't a problem with my insurance but their system and that my insurance benefits were not populating so they couldn't dispense my medication unless i paid out of pocket and the bill was $700. I explained to them Tricare told me to give them the pharmacy phone number line so they could tell them all the information and so they could see everything was good with my insurance and they would pay for it, they refused and told me to come back the next day. I called the tricare literally crying out of frustration because I was on my last pill and they were refusing to give me my meds unless i paid a ridiculous amount of money, they got ahold of the pharmacy and put me on a three way call and the pharmacist DENIED everything and said that i misunderstood them and that they would start prepping my meds right away... I literally heard him say it. 10 min later I get a text message saying the "pharmacy is getting my prescription ready". Now this month i'm having the same exact issue with my birth control.
