Shay is the kind of customer service person that all corporations dream about! Sweet, nice, fun, knowledgeable and soon to be mom made our trio feel at home! Then here come Misha! I drove over at 7 p. m. tonight to the Sally Beauty Supply Store to resolve my issue, I had last time with this Gray Magic Solution I purchased and I added to the one box of the Ion Color Brilliance Deep Shine Permanent Hair color for Shade (4 Natural Medium Brown). The price I paid last time was $10.99. This hair color is very expensive, it is a specialty brand name Ion is their hair color line of salon products that is sold at this Sally Beauty Supply Store. I went to the front cash register and I talked to two of their women employees. Moesha and Adrian both of these women their hair color was partly pink and black and this other Moeha's hair color was a blonde streak in the front and dark black in the back of her hair color. I didn't say one word to these women employees. They both told me their hair color is very popular and is trending now in the beauty world. I said okay whatever. I explained to both of them in detailed information that when I added one packet of this Gray Magic Solution to this Ion Color Brilliance Permanent Hair Color Shade (4 Natural Medium Brown) with the one tube of the Hydrogen Peroxide and the Developer that is already located in this applicator bottle. I have to mix both of these things together with the one packet of the Gray Magic Solution. This Gray Magic Solution was sold to me by one of their women employees. I can't remember her name now. She said to me this packet of this Gray Magic Solution will cover some of my gray hair at my roots completely. She never told me that when I added this packet of this Gray Magic Solution it will change to an awful Orange Color and ruin the Hydrogen Peroxide and the Developer Solution in the hair color applicator bottle. I was very angry when I received this results. I explained again to these 2 women sales clerks. This Sally Beauty Supply Store does Not cater to their customers at all. It bothers me that both of these women sales clerks did not give me a credit refund to my credit card account tonight. Adrian she said in order for me to receive a credit refund to my visa credit card account, the Hydrogen Peroxide and the Developer has to not opened up. I said I was angry today. Then I said to both of these women sales clerks if I would have applied this awful Orange Hair Dye to my hair I would be looking like Carrot Top this comedian. I said I dislike Orange Hair because it doesn't look good on me at all. I didn't get a Credit Refunded to my Visa Credit Card Account tonight. This Sally Beauty Supply Store in my personal opinion they just care about their profits not their customers. If they would have cared about me tonight, I would have received a credit refund to my visa credit card account today. I shop there sometimes not that often due to even though their Hair Color Products are a good brand like Ion Color Brilliance Hair Color I believe their products are overpriced. I am seriously going to think about if I want to continue to shop there in the future. I will probably take my business elsewhere. If a business doesn't care about me personally I don't want to spend my money at that business. read more

So I usually go to the Sally's on Sycamore all the time and because I was going into walmart I stopped in to grab some hair color. The girl that checked me out said let's check your account for coupons and she says wow you have alot stacked. She says you never use them? Well the people at the other Sally's never told me I had any coupons. So she was able to add all the coupons together and my purchase was practically free. One thing I dont reccomend is asking hair dye advise I learned the hard way. The girls at the Sycamore Sally's reccomended hair color remover. After that didnt work she says you need to bleach it. That destroyed my hair so in the end I covered it with black. Not what I wanted but only option. I had to go get a haircut to chop off all the damage. So do your own homework on color correction, dye etc dont ask these people they dont really know anything besides ringing you up read more

For a whole week, my hair was going through drastic changes, from Super Saiyan Blonde to Pippi Longstocking Red; I needed something to temporarily turn my hair Black because I had a wedding to go to and I didn't want to shock anyone with outrageous Intense Red hair. So I walk in, asked Mika (I didn't know her name when I first walked in) if she had any products that could turn my hair black and she directed me to a series of options (it was black mousse btw). I bought with the quickness coz I was crunching on time, then she __ told me I could do my hair in the store and pointed to a mirror (Never have I ever thought that was a possible option!). So I squeezed (pressed) that nozzle, put it in my hand, slapped it on my head and styled my hair INSIDE SALLY'S BEAUTY SUPPLY! -- WHILE PEOPLE WERE GOING IN AND OUT! -- IT WAS COOOOL! Mika also helped me out by doing little touch ups on some spots I missed and cleaned me up making sure I looked fresh to death! I would never recommend this place because of its unprofessionalism and and its inefficiency and ability to solve a problem ... 2 weeks ago I made an order by phone for curbeside pickup store, the employee who attended me made two mistakes in my order....., I invested my time in searching, comparing and deciding which clipper and trimmer to buy for a person to do their job wrong ... I never asked her prices because already knew how much I was going to spend, but she told me the price of the CLIPPER and the price of the TRIMMER when she gave me the price of the trimmer it became a little cheaper than I had rightly thought. for which I wanted to make sure that my order was ok and I told her "It's the trimmer that is all metal" and she made sure that if ..... so I ordered a BALDING CLIPPER and the SLIMLINE PRO but this employee took my name wrong and my order was written by PROFILIO SOLANO and SLIMLINE 2,An hour later when I picked up my order, when the employee gave me the bag with 2 machines, I saw that it was not what I had ordered and I immediately told her, but this person only said that she could not do anything and that was what I had done. tidy and just call customer service..... from that same day I call and call and after waiting an hour at home call they tell me that they are going to call me but they never do .... it is two weeks and until now they cannot make the change .... I made my order that way because I need those tools, if I did not need it urgently I would have made my purchase online without any problem.... It was my first time visiting the Sally's in Oceanside, don't usually go to that location since I resign in Escondido. The staff was very great and helpful. I was looking for a good shampoo for my oily hair and they recommended a good shampoo and conditioner. They also recommend a dry shampoo and got some pretty good tips. Not only was the customer service the WORST I've ever experienced, my friends and I are constantly followed by the Spanish girl as if we are stealing yet never asked if we need help. I'm very unhappy with this store. I don't even feel like it deserves a star. I was never asked if I needed assistance. I had to look for the employees that worked there and when I found them and asked for help, they couldn't look more bothered that I asked for help and interrupted their conversation. I love the fact that this location is so close to me, but I rather drive further and WASTE my gas to get to a different Sally's then to deal with these rude employees that clearly don't like their jobs. I called today to see if they carried a product that I needed and the girl who answered the phone (who clearly does not like her job) was completely useless, rude and unhelpful. Glad I didn't waste my gas driving here for nothing. I think a course in customer service would be beneficial short of her finding a place she'd rather be instead. All I have to say is the employee by the name of Annabelle that works in the store on main and c street in Hesperia CA is extremely rude and very unprofessional I shop at this location very often and I have never been treated so horrible by any of the other employees. I'm pretty sure she is the store manager at this location and she definitely doesn't know the first thing about managing a store or how to treat customers with respect and common courtesy . I was shopping in there today and another employee by the name of Samantha was helping decide on what colors would be okay to mix together when out of no where Annabelle walked to the end of the isle where we were at and asked me if I changed my mind on a specific product as she pointed at the product which was down closer to where she was standing I said excuse me what was that and she said did you change your mind on this item as she was pointing again at the same item I proceeded to tell her that she may have had me confused with someone else because I never even walked towards that item nor did I ever have it in my hand then she said once again did you change your mind because I just seen it in your hand it was then I realized she was basically accusing me of shoplifting at that point I said um no you didn't see me with that in my hand because I never picked that up I looked at the other girl and said did you see me pick that item up she said no but I did just put a bottle back right there at that point I looked at the Annabelle expecting that she would the apologize or something for assuming something that wasn't accurate but she still just said okay well no big deal I thought u had it in your hand that's when I asked her her name and explained to her that I shop in that store often and spend plenty of money in there and the way she just spoke to me was very unprofessional and not okay at that point one would think she would have apologized or something but no she still just basically was like oh well. This place has a lot of good products, but the team members there are next to clueless. I went in today to get hair dye to dye my hair pink for the first time, not knowing what i was doing. I asked the woman working there if i need one or two boxes of the dye as well as the pastel product and she said two of each. I dont know anything about products but if a hair dye you're selling requires developer, and you dont see the customer buying developer you should be inclined to inform them the dye theyre using requires developer. All in all i spent $31 on dye and pastel mix in and i went home and had my friend dye my hair. Immediately as shes putting it on we notice theres little to no pink at all. And in the end we used two boxes on my medium, pretty thin hair and i came out of it with zero dye. I called to ask if there is anything i can do, get an exchange or whatever, and the woman told me i could come back in and get developer and she would give me two boxes of dye in exchange. So i went in. The girl at the counter didn't tell me i needed to bring the empty boxes in, I'm not really sure why i would need to, and then she asked if i had a receipt. I don't know im lucky i brought it even though she told me i just needed to come in. Anyways, i think the team members need to be more willing to help customers with consulting them on whats best for their hair, otherwise they're gonna have way more problems like this in the future. read more

But they stood by the products they carry with no hesitations! I wish I had got the women's name that helped me so I could give her a shout out, because SHE really deserves these 5 stars. Before coming to the store I checked the site to see what time the store closes, it said 8 pm & the sign on the window says 8 pm too. I came into the store at 7 pm, with my sister to look at hair dyes. At just barely 7:30 a clerk came up to me and said "Do you need help, because we are about to close in a couple minutes." I thought I had lost track of time and been in there for an hour. Shocked, I said out loud, while looking at my watch "oh wow what time is it? I thought you closed at 8" The clerk then said "Yah but its getting real close to 8!" & walked up to the register and stood there. RUDE AS EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still can not believe how she treated me, as if I was inconveniencing her! Technically I had another 30 minutes to shop if I wanted. Never have I ever been rushed out of a store 30 minutes before closing. Maybe 5 minutes before closing, but 30 minutes? Come on now.....if you are going to work retail, please learn some courtesy/customer service skills!!! I hope someone at this store actually sees this & corrects her extreme rudeness. Despite low reviews I have always liked this place and found them to have great customer service and very helpful and knowledgable. The girl that usually helped me out had started beauty school and was taking a break before she went back and so I like it that they employ people that are professionals in the beauty industry rather than people that don't even know anything about beauty. read more
