I have been filling my many prescriptions at the same Walgreens since they opened 7 or 8 years ago...possibly more? Although I have had some problems who hasn't? They used to have a Pharmacist named Ryan and I would get a call from him or other person at the store about my prescription information that showed they really cared about me. Pharmacy is a joke. Ordered refill online and was informed it would be ready Tuesday...went in Thursday (2 days after) and was told it wasn't ready yet. On another occasion, again ordered refill online. Checked Saturday hours online and went to store to pick up order. Pharmacy closed, sign said "sorry, Pharmacy is closed" (during scheduled open hours). No explanation, nothing. I changed all of my prescriptions to another provider. read more

I ordered pictures online to this Walgreens. I received the confirmation email and then an email telling me that my order was ready to go. I went to pick them up, went to the photo counter and told them my name and patiently waited for my order. The sales associate was one of the most rude people ever. He was standing behind the counter and I had to wave him down to get him to help me. When I finally got his attention, he gave me this look like he would rather do anything than help me in that moment. He then proceeded to tell me that my order came through but was in "limbo" and didn't actually print. I asked what that meant and he goes, "I don't know..." with this blank stare on his face. I then asked what I should do and he replies, " well I'm gonna cancel this, so maybe re-order them if you want them." So 1st, when you work in customer service, you might want to actually want to serve customers...or at least act like it. Secondly, when there is a problem with the product you provide, you might actually need to know why that problem is happening and how to fix it. Third, if you work in the photo department, I would think that the employee would know about the photo printing machines & not look to me like like I am an idiot when I don't understand why my order didn't print and like there is something I can do about it. And lastly, maybe just TRY and help me figure out what to do instead of staring at me like I can figure out what the problem is with your system. I know this is long but it this experience was truly just frustrating. If you want some sunscreen or makeup, fine - this walgreens will do but if you want help, do not go here. All I wanted was some basic pictures for my older aged aunt and I was left with questions and no help at all. So proceed with caution. read more

Horribly understaffed pharmacy. Called to see if my prescription was ready, waited 25 minutes on hold and then got hung up on. Drove down and there were 7 people in line. Worst pharmacy, lines have 10-20 people and drive thru has 7-8 cars in line. Long waits, close for lunch and other random times. Now they are closed indefinitely with no explanation. So your prescription is not available, you have to go elsewhere and start all over. I'm sure they'll try to use Covid as an excuse. read more

Needed a transfer from one insurance carrier to another for an imperative prescription. Pharmacy Representative took my information and never reached back, as promised. Found that the request for approval was never placed with the doctor. Therefore, the prescription was now four days overdue. In-person attendant then said she could not find me in their system, at all. After finding my information, required a member # that I did not have on hand to move forward with contacting the doctor. Upon calling the next day, the Pharmacy Representative answering the phone was unbelievably rude and short. Using one word answers, cutting me off mid-sentence in an extremely unprofessional and unhelpful manner. If you need professional assistance in a timely manner, I would steer clear of this Walgreens. read more

I think it's odd how far apart some of the reviews are for this Walgreen's location. When my daughter and I travel to California for her field hockey trips we know we are going to have to go food shopping and from time to time we will also need to stop in a place like Walgreen's for other items we forget. Well, this year's trip was a bit of a packing debacle and we forgot a bunch of stuff and didn't realize it until AFTER we went food shopping. Thankfully this place was close and we stocked up on sunscreen, Gatorade (which was on sale), some additional snacks we couldn't find in the supermarket, a pair of sunglasses for the girl, and a hat for me. We were in and out quick, the prices were fine, the staff were helpful and friendly, and we got what we needed. The pharmacy here is laughably incompetent. It's virtually impossible to pick up a prescription in less than an hour at any time of day. They've mixed up my medications on multiple occasions, only partially filled orders, and lied about faxing my doctor for refills (I know because he's told me). Worst of all the pharmacy staff is rude, condescending, and seem to take some perverse joy in making customers wait while they have their cigarette breaks. Unbelievably awful place to get prescription medicine. They are rude, understaffed, and often OUT OF STOCK of regularly required medications for days and weeks. And they don't care to improve. Honestly I should have checked the reviews before even wasting my time. I've never had such a disgusting experience at a pharmacy as I did today. The girl that helped me gave me attitude from the beginning she opened her mouth. She then gave me FALSE information multiple times. She honestly is probably the reason that pharmacy sucks so badly because she can't do anything right! You'd think someone distributing and working with medication would learn to actually open her eyes and ears but I guess not. Have now called twice with a simple question! Get through the que "there are two people ahead of you". Then it picks up, some man says hold and it goes to ringing AND then it cuts you off! Went through that twice! At a time like this you'd think these pharmacies would be all hands and all staff on deck! This is essential! I had a interesting experience at this store today. A couple of days ago I dropped off a script to be filled (I needed more of this medicine). Today I went to pick up my prescription they told me that they were not going to fill it so, I ask for the script back and i'll go to CVS. The script was for an antibiotic for a tooth. This pharmacy is a red hot mess!! This Walgreens is one of the most dysfunctional drugstores I have ever visited. Their automated telephone refill service is continually broken. Since they are drastically understaffed, refilling your prescription by phone can result in an hour long wait before someone picks up your call. The pharmacist is the rudest pharmacist I have ever met. After waiting forever in line at the pharmacy during the afternoon, at 12:30 the windows were all closed. I asked what was going on. The pharmacist said they were all leaving for lunch. I asked if they could finish the people in line. He said no; that they were hungry now. I have to agree with another reviewer on here, Crystal is AMAZING and you (Walgreens) have a real gem *pun intended* in her!!! I am pretty sure she is the ONLY one who actually cares in the entire place. I have spoken with several people who work in the pharmacy and they all act like they do not have time for you and are too busy and overwhelmed with work to offer you anything more than in/out service. I understand that might very well be true but it is off putting when you are treated that way from the get go! Crystal takes the time to listen (wOw) and understand what you are asking without the "rush you out the door" attitude. Attention upper management: give that girl a raise because she is this locations saving grace as you can see by the reviews and she is the ONLY reason I am giving it 5 stars. Considering how hard life can be when you have serious health issues and/or providing care for people with them, bravo to you Crystal!!! I give the pharmacy team at this Walgreen's the highest possible rating. Prescriptions are hugely complex because of the many changing insurance policies. I visit the pharmacy about twice a month. My health insurance keep changing their policies about newer medications. Walgreens always seems to stay on top of these changes. I use the Walgreens.com website to order refills. I signed up to get status text messages. The text messaging system works beautifully. The web interface is a little klunky, but you can't please everybody. All in all, this Walgreen's deserves five stars because of the people. I truly respect and admire them. I like that the pharmacy team recognizes and remembers me although they always confirm identity as a safety measure. (Walgreens is upholding best practices. Masks. Hand sanitizer. Social distancing. Protective Plexiglas at the pharmacy windows and registers. Staff wears gloves.) read more

The Palm Springs hat and shirt ware were reasonable at 15 for two or 8 a piece, but their remaining selection was pathetic. The pharmacy at this location was once outstanding but is now absolutely terrible. I received an e-mail from Walgreens yesterday informing me that my prescriptions were ready for pick up at this location. I went online and paid for the prescriptions and Walgreens then sent me a confirmation that they had received my payment and that all I had to do was drive through, provide the pharmacy employee the code and pick up the prescriptions. Well, when I arrived at this Walgreens, they did in fact have my prescriptions ready but they claimed they had never received payment and they would only release the prescriptions if I paid them there on the spot. After arguing for a while, I finally paid them cash for the prescriptions and drove home. (I have kept my receipt showing my cash payment.) Once home, I checked my credit card online and sure enough, they definitely had also billed my Mastercard. So, I ended up being ripped off. I have tried calling the store to speak to the manager, but am put on hold for long periods of time and then no one ever answers. I have sent a note to the Walgreens Consumer Relations Department at their corporate headquarters -- we'll see if they respond. read more

Dropped a Fedex parcel on June 10th at 7pm was told by the guy who took my parcel that it would be picked up the next day. Told him I need to make sure it was as the docs were very important. He also said he was going to e mail me a receipt. I DID NOT Receive A receipt from him! Then i get a call from the receiver that when they tracked the package it says it was stuck at Walgreens! I called Fedex and was told that they pick up on Saturdays and do not know why that particular parcel WAS NOT picked up. I called Walgreens and spoke to a John and said that i can pick it up as the package was still there. He asked for my name and i gave it to him. When i reached Walgreens Gerardo Ramirez would not release the package to me as the package was not in my name. I already gave him my ID and my business card! I told him that i was the one who dropped it Friday and since they did not do their job correctly and did not send out the package on Saturday I have to pick it up and drop it at Fedex hub!!! He said he was doing what he was supposed to do. I explicitly said that I told John i was picking up the package and when John asked for my name he knew that the package was not in my name! But since i have given him the tracking number and enumerated exactly what time i dropped it and described to him the one who took it from me and the one who was going to help me but was told to take his break - John realized I was the actual person who dropped the package. I RECOMMEND THAT GERARDO RAMIREZ be retrained as he did not have sympathy for the customer! He knew I was in a hurry as the Fed EX hub last pick up was at 4:14pm! He also asked me the same question over and over again - Am I the shipper or the receiver? AND i only have the same and one answer NO! and my name will not change it does not matter how many times he asks me!!! EITHER THAT OR FEDEX SHOULD have their own people there that know what they are doing as clearly this GERARDO RAMIREZ DOES NOT!!!!!! I suggest to all the people who read this review to BEWARE OF IGNORANT, INCONSIDERATE people like GERARDO ! read more

I have to say when I began yelping it was all about the products and business. Then I realized it is all about the people who are there that REALLY make a difference. I went to Walgreens today and have been for the past year and I once again got Crystal as my pharmacist assistant and associate. I cannot tell you how easy she has made every transaction and answered every question I have. She has gone above and beyond her call of duty at her job to provide you with answers and comfort right to the check out process. She makes sure you log in to rack up your points or helps you know you can redeem them. To who ever her boss is, you have a good egg in Crystal. She is about the patient and customer service. Another reason I come back to Walgreens. BTW, (all the girls at the front do an incredible job) I cannot believe Crystal can multitask and keep her smile on the entire time it is truly a representation of good selection for customer service. I went to Walgreens with my parents as a child and have continued going there as an adult until now. I was there this morning at 10:15am, they had one person working the window as a line built up at the pharmacy. I waited 8 minutes and on my way out I passed a line of 7 people waiting to for check out at the front of the store. I drove to CVS on Sunrise and Ramon, I went to the pharmacy window where a customer was being helped and a young lady behind the counter saw me arrive and immediately asked if she could help me. The pharmacist was extremely helpful and I received the customer service one expects from a business that wants my hard earned dollars! read more
