8/21/25 went to pickup two prescriptions medication -drive thru. Both medications were handed to me with my medication name and my name on the information page stapled to the paper bag containing bottles. Open the package later in the evening to find someone else medication bottle instead of my medicine. Serious error that could be life threatening. Patients beware. read more

PHOTO SERVICE: I printed some photos here and they turned out very poorly. The sides of each photo were smudged or incomplete and there were little splotches of color on each picture. The service was fast and the employees were very nice- I will keep coming here, but not to print! read more

I've really tried to love this pharmacy since it's the closest one to my home but I haven't quite been able to see eye to eye with the staff persons yet. I've gone here multiple times and there is almost always an issue with the orders that I place online. I don't think the staff understands their own lingo that the company uses on their website. If you order items online but for pick-up in store, you would think that saying "I have an online pick up in-store" would make sense - but it doesn't. Though I do appreciate the staff helping me to the best of their ability, it doesn't exactly help that they have a junky old, computer software that doesn't recognize the difference between photo order, online order shipped to store, and online order pick-up in store. Perhaps, corporate could start with fixing that. Overall, some of the people that I've met there have been friendly and do try their best to help you out. Thus, 3/5 stars. :) read more

This Walgreens is fine. Having had lackluster experiences at our previous Walgreens pharmacy in Carrollton, we have NOT used the pharmacy at this Walgreens. Let's be clear on that. I see the pharmacy has pissed some people off in other reviews, so heads up - I've avoided that and can't speak to it. My quick stops here have been smooth and friendly. Helpful and friendly staff. Photos turned out fine. They've had the random stuff that I've needed. No complaints. Better than A-OK. Well... they *could* improve their beer selection. It's weak for sure. Stop at Goody Goody or Specs down the road for more alcohol selection (obviously), because this place is mostly a Piss Lite beer stop. I understand why this place has 2 stars. The rudest staff. John specifically is one of staff members that threw a fit over me not wearing a mask and denied me my vaccines. When I asked him to show me the policy he said Mask up or go somewhere else! After that he turned away, literally turned away, and would not meet my eyes. This is the type of psychotic antisocial people Walgreens employs. Then everyone wonders why more people don't get vaccines. Tried to get a prescription for my sons ADHD medicine filled here. After several back-and-forth with the doctors office and trying to apply a coupon because this is a really expensive medicine the pharmacist was less than helpful and honestly rather rude. I have been fortunate not to have any issues with this pharmacy. My family changed to this Walgreens because we were having so many issues with the nearby CVS. My prescriptions are always fulled quickly, usually before promised, which is very nice. They always call me before putting a prescription back, if I've forgotten to pick it up. If there is an issue with the insurance, they call me and let me know. I wish the people were a bit more friendly (smiles), which is why I gave them one less star. But, overall, I have been fortunate to have a solid B performance from this pharmacy/store. read more

The staff working at the Pharmacy are outstanding. They worked with me to find alternative options to lower the costs of an Rx my insurance no longer covered. I was feeling sick, angry and exhausted but the ladies who worked with me remained pleasant, informative and professional. They had 6 days to fill my RX and they did nothing. When I got there, they didn't have the meds in stock and didn't bother letting me know beforehand. This was all the whole spending 15 minutes waiting in the drive through with little to know explanation of what was taking so long. Terrible customer service. read more

Today I went to my local walgreens and I picked up my Rx as I have always used their pharmacy. I have always been loyal to their brand and for these reasons I will never step foot into one of these locations again. When I picked up my Rx this afternoon, not only did it take over an hour and a half to get them filled, but they didn't return my Driver's license. I received a call stating that they accidentally didn't return it through the drive through and said that I could come pick it up and they were open until 9pm. I proceeded to call to make sure they had it available in the pharmacy so I could pick it up in the drive through. I was spoken down to by the Indian pharmacist that was working and he wouldn't even look for it and immediately said that it wasn't there. Ignorantly he began to argue with me so eventually I just hung up the phone. I called back and asked to speak with the manager and the same Indian man refused to let me speak to a manager. I again had to hang up on him to call the other number at the store where I spoke with the manager. I believe he was an assistant manager because he put me on hold and then he said he doesn't have access to open the safe. My question to that would be how would my license getting there if nobody has access to get in it. This is a very poorly run store and I will continually work to make sure that this pharmacist is reprimanded in proper fashion. I work in the medical field and this is absolutely NOT okay to treat people like this and withhold someone's property when clearly a pharmacy tech called me confirming they had it and apologized. Also today my 29,000 reward points were not able to be redeemed because the pharmacy didn't know how to redeem them. This place is a nightmare. Buyer beware!!!! I recommend CVS. That's where I'll now be taking my business unless this pharmacist is fired as he should be for such unprofessional practice in medicine. read more

The pharmacy has disappointed me several times. I came by earlier to pick up my daughters prescription and they told me it would be an hour and a half and couldn't tell me the price of the prescription except that it was an "expensive drug". Then changed their story to say it would be 20 minutes and that the drug would cost me $2.29. So I left and came back to a 30 minute wait line in the drive thru with 4 cars in front of me. My daughter was throwing up in the car so i couldn't go in to wait in line. All in all, they don't have it together and their customer service needs some help. read more

Today I went to the Walgreens Pharmacy to obtain my immunization form that I have lost. One of the pharmacist was very rude and told me that he cannot help me. The other pharmacist ignored me completely. I went to another Walgreens in Little Elm to get a second opinion. Not only were they able to re-print my immunization form, but I didn't even have to go back to The Colony Walgreens where I took the shots. The staff at The Colony Walgreens pharmacy, they don't care about customer service. They are rude and not professional. I am never going to go back to that Walgreens ever again. read more

The people that work in the pharmacy are shockingly rude, except for one. They treat you like you are an inconvenience & less than a person because you need prescriptions. The lady with the really short hair is the worst!! I've nicely asked her simple questions on multiple occasions & every time she immediately gets an attitude. They are horrible even when it's slow, they make a lot of mistakes that are a pain to deal with and act like they want don't want your business. I don't even want to give this place one star but I have no choice. This is the worst Walgreens pharmacy I have EVER used!! I've been a very loyal customer but this Walgreens makes me want to change Pharmacies. After reading all the reviews I would think that Walgreens company would try to make changes and make customers happy! He finally walks over after sorting pills ignoring that I'm standing at the counter and doesn't apologize for the wait or say anything to me except "yes?" We moved to the colony this past year 2016. We have always filled our medications at Walgreens. So we have been filling them at this location. I can't tell you the level of unprofessionalism at this pharmacy. They questioned me and made me feel like I abused drugs when I was filling my dogs seizure medicine, there is always a 15 minute wait, they don't acknowledge you when they are literally standing two feet from you. The guy pharmacist is very rude I don't know his name but he is Indian. When ever I bring my script in he treats me like I'm nobody, and I'm wasting his time. We have decided not to go back to this Walgreens again! I work in sales and hospitality and I treat everyone equally!
