Horrible customer service in the drive thru!! unbelievable long wait rude at the window by time you get to the window terrible service

I stand in lines of 6 or more too often. One lady will stand there and talk for minutes while people are waiting. I can't stand how, they call a code 21 for alcohol and they come running. Knowing there is a line of 6+ but than can't come out of the satisfaction of customer service. Yet, they let you stand there like peasants. I'll never shop here again. Came to pick up photo prints. Cashiers at the front were busy and there was no one working the photo register. Had to wait 5 minutes for someone to notice me. They called over the intercom for someone to help and no one came until a cashier at the front no longer had a line. I definitely wish they were better staffed. read more

Tried to schedule a covid test via their website. Its stated try later due to site updating. Its been updating all moring. Went to drive through to see if they would do a test. The young women asked what time was my appointment. I told her your website was not working. Like a robot she stated i had to make appointment through website. I asked how I was supposed to do this if the Walgreens website was down. Her reply was I had to schedule through website. Unbelievable. No apologies, no recommendations. I've been filling my family's prescriptions here since we moved to the area. Experience has been average but fine enough not transfer on account that they offer drive thru pick up. Most recently, I've started using their photo services, the app makes that very simple and convenient. However, during my last order I had the most awful experience. The woman who was assisting me was extremely difficult, denied me a few of my images, then charged me for them anyway. I didn't think much of the amount I paid but when I went to check my images (never walking away from the counter) I noticed the images I agreed to pay for based on her ridiculous demands were not all there. I then told her, and in a very condescending manner she stated everything was there. I then said, no and she insisted. She must have counted my images 5 times before walking to the rear shelf to grab the missing enlargement out of another envelope. Came bck and said, I told.you it was there! I was like seriously? By that point, I had enough of this womans attitude so I proceeded to pout out she over charged me and I wanted a refund. She looked over the amounts several times and actually took a sheet of paper to work out this math problem lol... then proceeds to mumble she doesn't even think she should give me a refund because I used my rewards dollars to partially pay for the order. After several minutes passed she asked for my receipt (which I didn't have because she never gave me one, she said she couldn't give me a refund without a receipt, SERIOUSLY?! After contacting CS to report her behavior I ended up leaving, without my refund or any of my photos. I wasted about 40min dealing with this woman needless to say, this woman, by the name of ANGELIQUE was was a real piece of work. I will never spend money here again plan to transfer all my regular prescriptions and do NOT recommend this store to anyone. read more

Walgreens - The very condescending assistant manager at s. Tracy walgreens - Drugstores Near Me - Tracy, California

Waited in line almost 30 minutes only to be told that the drive-thru closes at 7:00pm due to "overwhelming volume and staffing issues". I was the 7th car in line at 6:40pm, finally got up to the window at 7:10pm and they closed. They helped the car that was RIGHT in front of me, I saw them give her medication, then that was it. They pulled down the shade! I was the last car and I had waited in line since before closing. I had no idea about "early" closing as the website still shows closing time of 9:00pm. I checked before I headed there. The store manager, not pharmacy manager, was courteous enough to come outside and let me know that the pharmacy "wasn't going to help me because they close early now". She didn't want me "sitting in line for nothing". ALL THE CARS IN FRONT OF ME WERE HELPED THEN THEY JUST PULLED DOWN THEIR WINDOW SHADE WHEN IT WAS MY TURN. Terrible! My suggestion to Walgreens: Have someone place a sign behind the last car in line - just like they do at grocery stores - then help whoever was already in line, obviously PRIOR to your closing time. Especially when the hours posted online are not current. Take the time to update the website, too! I never had such terrible customer service at Rite Aid and I'm so bummed they closed. I went to get my son prescription at 9a after his surgery and they stated they would contact me to pick it up once it is ready. I called at 125p and they stated it was ready but of course hours later no call. Then the woman stated we close in 3 minutes for lunch and I say I'll be there. I get there exactly at 130p and they say sorry we are on lunch. Really what kind of customer service is this? It was your mistake to begin with when you state you will call a customer when meds are ready! You have the audacity to close at 129p knowing I just called and have been waiting for these meds for over 4 hours! This location is so Unprofessional, and has lack of customer. I hope one day you need Pain meds after a procedure you deal with an incompetent staff as yourselves. read more

This review is long overdue. I used to live within walking distance of this Walgreens and would stop in if they had something on sale that piqued my interest. The employees on the front end were friendly and helpful. I docked two stars for my interaction with the pharmacist that gave me my flu shot on 1/29/14. He was extremely unprofessional and rude. I'm naturally thin and he made a snippy comment about how the needle was going to go right to the bone b/c my arm was so thin. I have a very weak stomach and don't take shots well so this was very upsetting and it made my stomach turn and I felt faint. I should have got up and left but I stayed as he had already prepared the shot. He didn't hit the bone- thankfully but the guy was an a$$. As a result, I decided I would NEVER return to this pharmacy for a flu shot or any other needs. He shouldn't be working with people. read more

I dropped off my prescription at 12p and I was told it will be ready in 45 mins, i came back at 6p and the guy told me to wait because he had to put the sticker on and made me come back around in the line. There are two Walgreens in Tracy, one is a smaller store, and this one on S.Tracy Blvd is the Larger, & Newer store. Both stores have great, helpful personnel, & friendly employees. But the Store on S.Tracy Blvd is larger, brighter, and has more product on hand. When my friend in "Faith" (we are Christians), who I have known for over 50 years (as well as the whole family), told me about their experience in this store, I was a bit surprised and concerned...My friend is new to the area of Tracy, and everything to my friend is just lovely about the Community of Tracy. Until my friend told me about some rude incidents that had occurred at this store. My friend told me that they had always treated every employee at this Walgreen with Respect, and Kindness...So it took my friend aback when they discovered that one employee at this store was making disparaging remarks about my friend's character to other Male customers. What Puzzles my friend the most is that every encounter with this Walgreen Employee was a positive one, being that my friend did not know this individual, and is new to the area makes it even more Baffling to them. While this is a wonderful, wonderful store, and a credit to the Community of Tracy, it only takes one rotten apple to ruin the whole lot. We all will be praying for this individual's salvation. #MeToo. read more

Very convenient for people who live in south Tracy. I go in there often and browse around. Great selection of chap sticks. I cruise the nail polishes right as I walk in. Customer service is very friendly. I purchased 2 5Hour energy drinks but it didn't ring up on sale as the tag showed. The cashier told me to grab tag and she gave me sales prices. My gosh!!! We just bought halloween candy marshmallow mice today. It looks cute for halloween treat. Bought 2. So my kids can try it first. My son ate one of them..and i just realize its expired!!! Date was april 2018!!! How can you sell halloween candy that is already expired!!' Called the store.. only gave us refund .. and 5000 points? .... like i need 1$ refund. So, one bad experience and one good experience equals 3 stars from me. I ordered some Christmas card prints at this location. It was my last stop from an evening of Christmas shopping. A seemingly easy transaction ended up being a quite frustrating and long process. Only to be left unresolved. Let me explain. The "Photo Specialist" (or lack there of) got my order as requested, and rang me up. As I get into the car, I take one of the cards out to take a look at my Christmas card, and there's a black line that streaks right across my daughters face. I then grab them ALL out, and they are on EVERY SINGLE card. A dark black line, right across her face. As I return to the store the "Photo Specialist" is helping a customer at the register. He see's me and immediately recognizes I am the one who picked up the Photo Cards and says "Oh great, what happened". I told him "There's a black line that's across my daughters face, I'd like to get these reprinted" And he replies "Ah, shit. Just wait over there (points to photo center), there's a lot of customers I have to help right now"... not very friendly, right? I walk over to the photo center and patiently wait for him to help the other customers. About 5-6 minutes later, he looks to see what happened. It LOOKED like he attempted to try to fix the problem. He says he couldn't get my photo back, because at the end of each day it gets kicked out and it's not in their system anymore. WIsh i had known he was bull$hitting me at the time. He made me "Re-Order" them on their little computer, only to waste an additional 15 minutes of my time. The template I used was not offered on their computer. GREAT. So his resolution: Go home, go online and re-order them. Then come back and pick it up. WOW! Irritated by the situation, i said nothing. And left and figured - if I have the time to do it, i will. (It was 10pm by this time, and he says, we're open til 12am) I just left in disbelief of his customer service (or lack there of) The next morning, I went back to get a refund for the cards since I didn't have the time to re-order them the night before online and drive back to Walgreens. I told a woman I'd like to get a refund for my Christmas cards, because of the line on my daughters face. She goes, oh wow! I'm so sorry about that - let me reprint them for you. WHOAH! she said REPRINT THEM! WOW! The guy the night before REALLY played me for a fool. Unfortunately I've never worked at a Walgreens, and didn't know how their system worked, and assumed he was telling me the truth. SHE PULLED UP MY ORDER AND REPRINTED THEM ON THE SPOT! I found out she was the manager, and told her about my experience. My experience with her was like night and day. I can see why she was promoted to be manager. She was great, and helped me right away. It all really depends who's working while you're there. One day i was unlucky the next I was lucky. Hopefully the manager who helped me has a word with her "Photo Specialist" to either improve his work ethic or find a new job! read more

Yesterday was my second time picking up a Rx here through the drive thru and yet again I was given excellent service. It was a different pharmacist/assistant and they were both very kind and prompt. They acknowledged me immediately and had great customer service. This location is a bit further from my house, but totally worth the drive. Shopping inside is always pleasant as well. The staff here are quick to ask you if you need assistance. They also have a great variety of things here and it is clean and organized. read more

Called the pharmacy and the first thing said to me was "don't care". I don't know if this is a pharmacy clerk, technician or a pharmacist but whoever "Craig" is, but whoever you are, you need to get your act together and be BETTER than THAT. I'm so disappointed in how I was treated today. Honestly, I don't really care about being greeted when I walk in a store or asked for assistance, as long as I do not get disrespected. Unfortunately, after my experience today, I'm boycotting the store. I had been in the store for about 5 mins, when the cashier kept paging for security checks in the aisles my nephew and I were in. At first I didn't think it had anything to do with us, until I realized we were being gawked at through the security mirrors. At that point, I felt rushed like my presence was really unwanted and I needed to get out of there pronto. But there was one item I couldn't find. When I asked where to find it the associate helping me reluctantly brought me to the aisle As if she wanted us out of the store ASAP. She proceeded to tell me that I could check out at the cosmetics register since I had so many cosmetic items. Mind you, she never made eye contact with me! She was too busy staring at the contents inside my cart and purse! She was blatantly staring at my cart as if she was taking a picture for her photographic memory. When she was confronted for her behavior and the excessive "security check" pages, she told us that she couldn't tell us because it was "private". Then, as she walked away with her back turned, gave us the most insincere apology. It wasn't exactly what she said that offended me. It was more about how she said it. Her body language and tone showed so much disdain towards us. As if, our presence was clearly unwanted. I don't like throwing the race card around, but it's hard not to, when the employees are more concerned with surveilling certain customers, then giving proper service to ALL shoppers. At checkout, the cashier told us to just ignore it and that she didn't know anything about the security checks. Her attitude showed that she couldn't care less. When we asked to speak to a manager after paying, she reluctantly paged Angelique who was conveniently too busy to come out. I'm suspecting it was the same associate who was staring at my cart and purse.To play Devil's Advocate, it is possible that the security checks had nothing to do with us being in the store and maybe they were not necessarily checking up on us. But the way that the associate was staring down at us, not making any eye contact, as if we're not even human beings who deserve to be properly acknowledged makes the claim questionable. read more

I've been in the drivethru lane for over 25minutes and at the window for over 5minutes without anyone even acknowledging that there is a customer waiting. I guess the car in front was waiting as her prescription was being filled and very inconsiderate of the people waiting behind her. It should be a policy to have people wait at a parking spot like McDonald's when their order is going to take a while. Still waiting as I'm typing this and there are four cars behind me already. This is for the pharmacy. I have shopped here for a few years and its been just a normal Walgreens nothing too exciting. However recently I had a prescription filled here where I was shorted half of it. The prescription was so cheap I wasn't really concerned about it. I called them up for the refill the next month and while I was refilling it I casually mentioned that in case there's an issue refilling it I only got half of what I was suppose to get last time. When I went to pickup my prescription they didn't charge me for it and gave me the rest of my prescription I was shorted the month previous. I never asked them to do this and I knew there was no way I could prove it, however the pharmacist took my word for it and made sure I was taken care of. You will not get better customer service from any other pharmacy in Tracy. They might make a mistake but they are right there to fix it for you. I recommend this place, plus it has a drive thru window for pickups! read more

Pharmacy is very disorganized, Slow, Rude, Unprofessional, and lazy. Learn some people skills. If the doctor faxes you the prescription 2 weeks ago, you should have it ready. If there's a LINE of customers, get off your computer upkeep, & start waiting on the customers. Don't drag your feet, when the customer says they have to be somewhere in 20 minutes. Horrible experience I went there as a new patient to fill a prescription. The first cashier I talked to couldn't be bothered to deal with the insurance forms, back at the end of the line. The second cashier was clearly annoyed at me when the insurance wouldn't cover the whole diffraction of the treatment. The pharmacist couldn't be bothered to make herself understood. She walked to me, vomited her spiel super fast on the counter and didn't repeat when I asked her to, even though she is legally required to. No way in hell I'm every stepping into that store again. read more

They seem to be getting better in the pharmacy. I had previously given them one star but they recently have been getting my requests correct and not longer abusing my contact information. They still do auto refills way too early, which allows them to be paid more per year by my insurance company as they actually squeeze 14 months of refills into a 12 month year and I end up with too much medication. read more

Update on previous reviews and they still are awful. Been trying to get heart medication refilled for 2 weeks. 1st they call a rheumatologist I haven't seen in two years to refill medication provided by current cardiologist. Obviously denied. Once they finally contacted the correct doctor, suddenly my insurance coverage isn't working. Copay goes from $10 to $350. I told the snarky chick with jailhouse tats that she needs to recheck because I've had this several times. She literally walks away and helps two more customers then comes back and says I need to come back after I talk to insurance company. I told her I'm out of heart meds and have been due to their errors and they are going to kill someone with their horrible service and mistakes. She smirked and told me to come back tomorrow. Next day I call my insurance company that dictates I use Walgreens, and they said the pharmacy must have entered it wrong, go back there. If I'm alive next year I'll update again, since I'm stuck in Walgreens hell.. read more
