The staff were nice and professional as well as friendly and the place was overall decently stocked up. Was the closest to a grocery store I could get unless you take the CatTran to Safeway in order to get groceries. However, this still worked out in the end and was good to get snacks and other decent stuff at if you need food.

The store was full of female customers who were in need of assistance and I watched as we all got ignored and told to wait so they could talk more. They do not give you eye contact if you're not a man. A woman had to go out to her car to get her husband to talk to them for her. I was in the store about 20 minutes looking for duct tape as I'm working on repairing a few things temporarily and was not able to get help to find it in the store. I'm extremely disappointed in my customer service experience and how Walgreens hires people who hate women is disgusting.

I neglected to write a negative review on 4/26/22 when getting a COVID booster, I had to return to the location and get someone to document my booster after the tech forgot to annotate my booster on my card. The Walgreen's response "My Bad". I get it, a simple mistake - but in the aggregate across the past ten months, too many "simple mistakes". I have had another booster appointment scheduled today, for a week, only to be called moments ago by Anna - who was polite, but she informed me the system double, and triple booked appts and that I was now cancelled. Walgreens offered no proposed solution and deterred me from coming in by chance someone would cancel - they indicated that was highly unlikely. This location has created numerous other inconveniences for me over the past 10 months - that went undocumented. Not this time. Goodbye Walgreens at 3200 Speedway...I can only hope you're a franchise and my google and yelp review coupled with my bad mouthing you at every BBQ and cocktail party either forces a change to your business practices or drives CVS to replace you. There's only one person at the cashier when there's 10 people in line they schedule you for a vaccine and then you come in and they say you're not scheduled. I have made multiple attempts to contact the pharmacy to check the status of my prescriptions, but each time I have either been placed on hold for extended periods (20+ minutes) or had my call disconnected without ever speaking to anyone. Most recently, on Tuesday, March 24, 2025, at approximately 8:14 PM, I was on hold for over 20 minutes with no response. I then called the main store number and requested to speak with a manager. The individual who came to the phone identified himself only as "the manager" and refused to provide his name. When I explained my concerns, I was simply told to call back the next day to speak with the store manager, which I found dismissive and unhelpful. When I was finally able to reach someone in the pharmacy, I was met with a very rude interaction from the male pharmacist. His tone was unprofessional and made me feel as though I was inconveniencing him simply by calling. I even referenced the in-store signage encouraging customers to be kind to staff, and asked what expectations exist for how customers are treated. Unfortunately, his demeanor did not improve. I understand that pharmacies can be busy, but repeated long hold times, lack of communication, and discourteous behavior are unacceptable. I have also noticed that other customers have shared similar experiences in reviews, which suggests this may be an ongoing issue. I am not looking for a generic apology--I would like to see meaningful improvements.
