Super fun brewery with good beer and decent food. They have an excellent patio and garden area where well behaved dogs run loose and get to join in in the fun. Everybody hanging out was fun and Friendly. They might want to work on service a little bit. They were busy and also don't have table service. They also don't walk your food all the way out to you if you are out back in the beer garden. You need to go get it from the server. We were not given napkins and there were none on the tables. I also went up to the bar to pay my bill when there was 1 other person inside the bar besides me. I went in a couple of times and was not attended to while staff were present and just came back a couple times later. So super cool and good place, but service could improve. read more

This is our favorite place to get a beer in the valley!! They have good beer and friendly staff! But our favorite things about it is the huge outdoor area with plenty of seating, fire pits, outdoor games which we LOVE and the fact you can bring your dog! We also enjoy playing darts on their indoor dart boards as well when it's too cold/rainy to play the outdoor games. We always recommend this place and is now their favorite place as well! read more

The stars are for the beer alone. Great brew! The place is brand new so it kind of feels like you're drinking beer at your buddies garage. But, the bartender was very nice. Once they get the place up and running I think it will be a great place to hang out and have a couple brewhahas. read more

The pesto pizza is very good, and brew maid Kelly is very nice, as is the owner Ross. This is a really nice place to meet friends, hangout, and drink. Out of all the beers it is really hard to pick a favorite as my mood changes another brew takes top spot, you cannot go wrong here, Great Quality, & Great Tasting beer. Located this place in an industrial area. Have a limited selection of beer and a small food menu. Only 7 people in the place at 6. We each had a beer and ordered a pizza. The pizza was a combo and very good. They bring you paper plates and flimsy plastic silverware. We asked for ice water but, they don't have ice. Water is self serve. read more

Get a flight at their taproom located, ironically, across the street from a Budweiser distribution center in Medford. The owner's son was working the bar when my husband and I came to visit. He took us on a mini tour of the brewery, and although the smallest brewery I've ever toured, it was so fun. It's dog and person friendly and I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a good beer and a down to Earth atmosphere. I enjoyed it! read more

Walkabout is the all around venue for any occasion. I worked as a bar tender for years and had the workers requested more than any other beer. Recently I started attending events at the brewery. For a fun trivia night or an occasional concert this is the place to be. The food brought in is always on point and the beer is the best in town. Just tried the new special Crack a fruity at the Fret Drifters concert. Great beer and such an awesome night. This family owned business is doing it right! read more

Very sad day for my family here. I have told so many people about this place and brought them with me to enjoy the atmosphere...until today. Everyone was enjoying their day with no one and I mean no one had their dogs on a leash and everyone was fine with that. The kids were running around playing fetch with friendly dogs and having a blast...out walks a blonde girl with a pit and has him on a leash. Most dogs went over to greet who they thought would be a new friend. Wrong...she immediately in a rude tone said "can you put your dogs on a leash" we were stunned but did it. She didnt say it to anyone else, so we thought okay then we cant be singled out and let them back off. She then said it to everyone and said she worked there *again in a super rude tone*. I have been here many times and no one working there has ever said a thing about having the dogs on a leash, especially when they arent bothering anyone. She ruined this place for me and the others as well. Everyone with a dog left within 5 mins and complained. It is sad because we loved this place. If you work somewhere you need to speak in a respectful tone about a policy and not be rude to people that have been loyal customers. It was her day off and clearly wanted to ruin people's time. Not how you keep customers. She should have had better customer service even off her shift, if she had a problem. No one else working there had an issue. If it is a strict policy then everyone working there should have been informed and been told how to handle it. We will not be back after being treated like that. read more

C'mon son... I came here for a brew and grub. I ordered the nachos, because you can't fuck that up. I could have spent 8 dollars at the gas station and got 20 times more nachos of the same quality. Stale chips, unmelted cheese, and pickled jalapeños. Man cheese can't be so expensive that you gotta skimp so hard. I would pay 2 dollars for the nachos. Not 8. The service wasn't so bad. As Others have said, an ironic location across the street from a Bud distributor........however the little guy brews some great beer, I've had bottles and draft beer at other bars, but today was my first time at the brewpub. Won't be the last, owner was real personable, and the young lady behind the bar was very nice. lemon Ginger was flavorful, same with the Session IPA, the regular IPA, and I was given a taste of an upcoming brew that was fantastic, and 9% ABV....woohoo, bring a designated driver! read more

I'm late with my review. I found Walkabout early last summer. Found it by accident, as it was far down a street that had little on it but the Western Beverage distribution warehouse and the First Student bus barn. In fact I wasn't even sure what I had seen.. We had to back the car up and take a second look. I don't think they had been open too long. The inside was small and it has a very local hangout feel to it. There is an outside that simply a picnic bench under the glaring sun. The inside was small benches or stools at the bar. I have some mobility issues, so both seating arrangements were far from ideal for me. I chose the bench. I think we got a sampler on the beer. They have good beers and ales. For food the choice was pretty limited. I believe we got a hummus plate. The server was a nice woman, friendly and helpful. Overall I quite liked it. I think we caught it when it was still wobbling into itself and would like to go back and see how that's gone. I really support these small brewers. I recommend anyone to go check them out. By now, it's quite likely that the amenities and food are greatly improved. I'll be heading over there again, soon. read more
