After waiting FIVE DAYS for a response, I was told: * There was a "hole" in the tire * Because I had to drive on it to get off the interstate, I "couldn't prove" it wasn't my fault * Therefore, nothing would be done Translation: I was dismissed and effectively called a liar for handling a dangerous situation exactly the way you're supposed to. Let's talk numbers, since that's clearly the only language spoken here. This is a ~$100,000 vehicle. The tire in question is a budget Nexen tire worth roughly $200. Your own business cards advertise $100 referral fees. White's Auto Mall chose to protect a $200 tire instead of a customer. As a direct result: * I am moving all warranty and service work to another dealer * I canceled my upcoming Ram order * I switched to Ford You didn't lose me because of a tire. You lost me over principle, accountability, and a complete lack of customer advocacy. What makes this worse is the safety implication. This was a steer-tire failure at highway speed. Dismissing a customer because they followed proper blowout safety procedure sends a dangerous message: it punishes safe behavior and incentivizes unsafe actions just to "preserve evidence." That's not how serious safety issues should ever be handled. No concern for safety. No escalation. No attempt to help. Just delay, dismissal, and indifference. If this is how White's Auto Mall handles customers after a serious interstate safety event, buyers should think very carefully about where they spend their money. Apparently this dealership is doing well enough that it doesn't need repeat, loyal customers.

I had a major evap leak detected and repaired. When I got home the check engine light came back on. We have had our Kia serviced with Wyatt Johnson in the past and it was a hit or miss experience. My Positives: I took my Subaru Forrester in today for a recall on the brake system and spring coils. I also had them replace the rear windshield wiper, since that is a Subaru only part. Marvin checked me in, texted me with an update, and called me when the repair was completed. This guy was really overly great and helpful in the process. He was spot on, almost to the minute, of how long it would take to get the repair done. My critiques: When I initially called to schedule the repair I was a bit turned off by the person on the phone (don't recall her name) because I have a 1hr 45min drive to the dealership and asked about the time-frame of the repair. I was told I would have to ask when I showed up at the dealership. Typically dealerships will quote me the "billable labor hours" of the repair, which at least gives some indication of the overall time. When I got in my car it smelled like cigarette smoke. As I have asthma, I'm overly sensitive to smokers and this was a bit of a turn-off.

It has now been a week, and despite multiple attempts to reach a manager, no one has followed up with me. There is a significant price difference between the Limited and LE trims, approximately $7,000 to $10,000. Given the circumstances and the lack of communication, I feel compelled to share my experience publicly and pursue further action, including filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I was dealing with a stressful…read morestarting/starting issue on my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and he went above and beyond from start to finish. If you know anything about these Jeeps, the battery is hidden in a terribly complicated spot under the passenger seat. He came out, tackled the difficult reinstall, and thoroughly tested everything. Before he even got here, he gave me so much extra information and honest advice. He admitted he was worried it might be more than just a dead battery, explaining that he'd hate to just charge me $50 to drop it in if it didn't fully solve my underlying problem. He truly cared about fixing the actual issue, not just taking my money. When the battery couldn't hold its charge, he jumped the vehicle to explicitly prove that the starter and alternator were still healthy, giving me peace of mind and information I never would have had on my own. He even came back 2 days upon request to make sure the new battery was completely installed and good to go. He did so many things he really didn't have to do, and his honesty and work ethic are hard to find these days. He has definitely earned a loyal customer, and he will be my go-to mobile mechanic from here on out. Do yourself a favor and call him!
