He does…read morethe absolute bare minimum, gives no guidance on how to fix your pool/spa when there's chemical imbalances and issues, and has absolutely zero personality or customer service skills. I live 2 minutes from the store, and will have to go to the Weymouth or Brockton location instead because of how inept of an employee he is. And this isn't just from one interaction, I've had at least 5 with him now where I go to get my water tested, and he just offers absolutely no guidance whatsoever. Wish him a good day? He'll stay absolutely quiet. Ask him how the day is? Stays absolutely quiet. No chance of any decent human interaction whatsoever when he's working, you might as well let the customer work the testing station and do self-checkout. I'll take the 15 extra minutes to get to the Weymouth or Brockton location, at least I know they have actual human beings working behind the counter (Granted the weymouth one is having staffing issues), but I've yet to have a bad experience with those locations yet. Just wish I didn't have to avoid the one two minutes down the road because of this one employee who is just absolutely atrocious to work with. I don't often want people reprimanded or fired, but please send this employee back to training because you are going to lose customers.

BEWARE: No Returns Accepted Here!…read more Absolute rip off of a pool store. Bought 2 Polaris freedom robots from this place($1,800 each). First one was on 8/11/2024. That unit broke on 7/15/2025. Never made it through one whole season. On the MFG website it has Leslie pools as an authorized repair shop. I go there and was told it's 1 month to fix and they didn't have a Polaris freedom in stock. This is why I bought a 2nd from central pools. I buy the 2nd one on 7/21/2025. Used it 3 times. On the 3rd time the unit stopped moving. Same exact error as the first one. Unit broken on 8/2/2025 (11 days). Go to return this piece of junk unit and was told to go pound sand. Argued with the owner for over an hour. I bought the only one they sold last year and the only one they sold this year. But the owner tells me he sells these all the time. He gets his Polaris from Hopkinton MA but doesn't restock a hot selling $1,800 item for 11 days?. The stories this guy comes up with are unreal. He should have been a Science fiction, author. FYI to anyone who cares, this place knows nothing about polaris vacuums. Everything they told me contradicts what Leslie Pools said. Owner wasn't even sure if the battery can be replaced and they can. It was equivalent to arguing with a child. Guy would just bring up other customers examples to justify why your situation or complaint isn't valid all while refusing to take back and return the crappy product to his distributor. He'll respond here saying how it's not his fault why the product broke or how it's not his fault I bought it and blah blah blah. Bottom line is he can 100% send this back to his distributor and is refusing. Unfortunately he's sold a junk product to a business owner who deals with MFG and distributors on a daily basis. My husband was having a civilized conversation with a fellow member the day after the presidential election when suddenly the director of the fitness center broke in uninvited and launched into an unprovoked verbal attack based on false assumptions about his political views. After staying away for a year and a half, we recently considered rejoining because of a health need for specific classes that are not available elsewhwere. However, the management refused to speak to their employee about his bullying behavior or to mediate in any way. I would not recommend this club to anyone who expects to feel safe and respected.
