The carpet is stained and the bar up there was still slimy from I don't even know when. So glad we brought our own cleaning products. And if that wasn't enough, because it has a bar downstairs the parking lot was full, so our guests and other people coming for our event had to park a block or more away. AND their lot was so difficult to get in and out of to start with. Never again, wish I could get a refund!!

No music or TV noise as well. WHAT THE HELL KIND OF BAR IS THIS? Who goes to a bar to not speak to anyone? I was confused. I had to whisper to the people I was with because we felt like we were disturbing people. Let me say this again, "we're in a bar but no one is speaking." The only saving grace was the poor bartender that had to endure this hell was pretty good looking so I just looked at her while I drank 1 drink and immediately left. I feel like I am a pretty good judge of a dive bar since I frequent them very often. This was one if the worst bars I have ever gone to. The irony of the whole experience is that as we're leaving, some loser started playing the jukebox and played that horrible hillbilly overplayed song, "I Love This Bar." What does he love????? They are so friendly to me and my wife. Not too many bars in Rhode Island are as friendly as the ones here in Charleston South Carolina, but this one sure is. Although I have never personally tried the food, a customer at another bar told me that lower level has excellent food. Next time my wife and I go to Rhode Island, we are going to eat there. Okay, so you dont come here looking for a wide beer selection, good food or high class entertainment. This is the last stop on your way home or a bar to perch and play Keno. If you're in the Valley Falls area (why would you be?), and see a dim yellow light lit at what appears to be an old church on a shady street and an Open flag blowing in the breeze, stop in! It's a bar so don't go expected 5 star food, but do try the Fall's special, a bacon cheeseburger with fries, always delicious. The other food is good as well but I'll always go with the special. We sat down at the bar (which is a step up with chairs placed on the platform to reach the bar) next to a guy who was deeply inspecting something. Closer look and it was Alex and Ani bracelets individually wrapped in clear plastic wrap. Hey to each their own- no judgement on my part! Then the bartender gets in on the bracelet inspecting. They spend the next 45 minutes debating over bracelets and which ones se is going to buy off this guy out of a plastic bag on the bar. She finally let's me in on the 'secret'- they are prototypes so they can be sold real cheap. She bought about 5 off this guy! He was on cloud 9. I loved the whole interaction but not enough to buy those bootleg bracelets! This place is intriguing. A grill stored inside. A full fridge and the atm squished in a little cubby whole. The bar area is all see through glass where you have liquor stored next to dog bones! One leather recliner on their back patio. This place makes no sense but makes perfect sense to the dive bar unwritten/upspoken code of operation. I loved it. The bartender impressed me when I asked for a girly drink. The bartender was in training and her trainer was sitting next to me drinking! Got to love it! She was super nice and wanted to learn how to make a new drink she was asked to make. Don't expect much but it's a place to grab a few. Nothing fancy but does the trick.
