    Cortados

This is an ok coffee shop... 5-Stars for atmosphere & 3-Stars for drinks. That gives it 4-Stars over all. There is lots of seating inside and out with spaces for working/studying more inside and relaxing outside. Its also a great place if you want to take some nice IG photos. The staff is friendly and make drinks quickly. But the coffee drinks themselves are just ok. We both had Cortados this time and they were a little tasteless and too hot. Drinkable but not worth coming back for. Last time I came in alone and had a Flat White that was terrible and I dumped it out. I did not have time to ask for another but I'm sure they would have remade it. Wall Writers is located in an office complex but in a good way. There is plenty of free parking and in the afternoon and on Saturdays you can park right at the entrance. The restroom is located in a separate building across the courtyard and watching people search for it can be mildly entertaining LOL It is a nice place to work with plenty of natural light and a wonderful patio for enjoying nice weather. I just wish the drinks were a little better. But because of the convenient location I will probably try it again. Maybe Ill try something iced?

finally tried wall writers! loved their seating options! they had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating so perf spot to study or get some work done. Very relaxing vibe. i got their ube latte and it was decent, pretty balanced flavor and not too strong. reasonable price as well, it was $6.5 Curious about how their matcha tastes!

Beautiful outdoor coutyard with tons of birds chirping and many seating options. Had their flat white. Tasty but pricey. Comes in a tiny little cup (smaller than a sbux tall). Chocolate almond croissant warmed up was flaky and delish.

This is an excellent coffee shop in one of the office parks in Irvine near spectrum. There is a lot of great indoor and outdoor seating, although it does tend to get busy. On this visit, I had the caramel banana latte, which had a very nice flavor and was not too sweet. The only complaint (and I'm not docking points here), is that the bathroom is not within the cafe, and you have to get a key card from the staff in order to use the restroom (can be difficult if there is a long line to order).

A beautiful coffee shop that's located outside the One Digital Corporate Building in Irvine. At first it was a little tricky finding where this is, but as long as you see the building you park in the visitor parking and head towards the building. You will see the shop that has a beautiful outside seating area with tables and full body swings. The inside is very nice and artsy as well. They have a few seasonal drinks and a good amount of drinks listed and I had tried the iced Pandan Latte and the Salted Caramel Latte for a hot summer day in the OC. While I felt like the drinks were both just ok and maybe a little on the watery side, they might not have used cold espresso so the drink tasted very watered down. Even thought that may be the case, still worth visiting and checking out this beautiful cafe whether to rest and enjoy a break or to get some work or study done.

The matcha latte varieties here all involve syrups except for the standard matcha latte, rather than using fruit purées as a substitute, which already makes me lose interest in most of their offerings as I'm highly health-conscious and unnecessary syrups aren't part of my diet. The standard matcha latte that I got didn't taste good at all, as in, the matcha didn't taste good, so I ended up simply enjoying the bottled water I got along with the matcha latte. The staff is pretty friendly but nothing super memorable. The vibe is weird because there's lots of big tables and not much of an area to wait for the order to be ready. I didn't enjoy being at Wall Writers Coffee and won't be back in the foreseeable future.

A friend recommended this coffee shop, so I knew I had to stop by when I was in the area. The store itself is located in a large business center, so it's hard to stumble across it unless you work in the area or if someone tells you about it. Because it was in the business center, I didn't have high expectations for the ambiance but it's actually really nice. The store is bright and modern with big windows. There's plentiful indoor and outdoor seating options and the seats are COMFY!! They offer a variety of different lattes that all sounded delicious. I'm a huge ube fan, so I got the ube matcha. Flavor wise, it was really good, however, I've had better ube lattes elsewhere. My husband got a drip coffee and was very impressed though. I took a sip of his coffee and you were really able to taste all the different notes of the coffee--it was definitely one of the more flavorful black coffees I've tried. Overall, this is a great coffee shop that I'd recommend!

Love their coffees and matchas. I wish they didn't close soo early! It does get packed, but there are tables and seats if you want to study/get work done!

I wanted to have some delicious coffee at a nice cafe for the weekend. I decided on this place because it had great reviews and looked like it had a good atmosphere, and I arrived around 11:30 AM. Since it was the weekend, it was packed with people like a party, and almost all the seats were taken.I ordered an avocado toast and a coffee, then sat down at an empty table. The coffee and food came out pretty quickly, and the staff were friendly. The coffee was tasty, and the avocado toast was absolutely delicious! If there is one downside, it's that they don't seem to have air conditioning. I even saw some people leave because they said it was too hot. Also, there were no power outlets at the tables for charging. These days, cafes usually install outlets so you can charge your devices even if you're far from a wall, right? Luckily, I had a portable power bank with me, but it could be a bit tough if you come without one.The parking lot is spacious, and though you have to walk a bit to get to the shop, the overhanging trees make it feel like you're on a trip, which is nice. However, the music and people talking make it quite noisy, so I wouldn't really recommend it if you need to do something quietly by yourself!

Wall Writer's Coffee has been on my personal spot to try as a work study store. I finally went here at around 12:00 pm on a Saturday and it was definitely busy. The order line went out the door so we needed to wait a bit before we could order. For seating, all of the spots inside were already taken at that time. Outside seating had a lot of options in the courtyard. The courtyard had a good vibe but it might be hit or miss with seatings with shade. At the time I went, I was able to grab one of the last remaining spots with shade. While there is WiFi, if you sit further out in the courtyard, the signal might be weaker. For parking, there were a lot of spots in a plaza. As for the order, I personally got the iced Carl's Blend from the pour over menu. It stood out because that was the only dark roast. The pour over was pretty good. My girlfriend got the Pandan matcha latte with oat milk. Unfortunately, that wasn't so good and only tasted like oat milk. Stick to the coffee and you should be fine. American Express is accepted here.

    * my go-to spot whenever I have a full day of studying ahead and want an early start (open 7am-3:30pm everyday) * bright space from all the natural lighting * can easily move between indoor and outdoor seating to change up the scenery (but outlets are limited) * their seasonal menus (with plenty of milk substitutions) make every visit exciting! * serves food/pastries as well 9/10

A chic cafe with artistic modern themed interior design that has upbeat music playing in the background moderately loud and ample seating both inside and outside for those wanting to stay and enjoy their coffee. The staff is nice and fast with their service. I ordered the hot Ube latte, which was not too sweet, hint of ube, and creamy.

Iced ube latte. Magical colors and it tastes fantastic.

This coffee shop is extremely well-hidden but it is hardly a secret. There were at least 30 or 40 people there during my visit. The interior is big and the patio is even bigger. Both the interior and exterior are very attractive. Three words: iced ube latte. It is drop dead gorgeous and absolutely delicious. And it is served with small ice pellets? Are you kidding me? This is a fantastic drink and I will crawl over crappy regular ice cubes for it all day long. Free parking. You have no excuse for not trying this lovely place out.

    Do they have WiFi?

    Yes they do!

    Parking is located where?

Right up front right by the coffee place , during the week is hard to find parking because of open business but during the weekend it's easier to find parking. Oh by the way they are close Sundays

Do you sell bags of your own coffee beans?

Yes we do. Just ask our barista and they will grind the beans to your specifications or get them for you whole.

    Is there gluten free pastry?

No. They serve sourdough bread for their avocado toast if you can tolerate it.

Are the parking free? Can I bring well behaved dog and sit outside?

Yes. There is a courtyard. You could sit outside. Free parking everywhere.

Are there any bike racks or appropriate places to lock a bike? And where is such place located?

Not that I remember. This is located between two office buildings, so if there are bike racks.....they are not visible.

Can anyone post some directions for how to find the shop? Drove around for a bit, including in a parking lot that seemed like it was for an office, but could not find the shop either from Irvine Center or from Gateway. Thanks!

NOTE: It's a bit difficult to find. It's in between some office buildings. Directions: From Irvine…

Is that art from el mac?

Yes, the interior has a couple of pieces by El Mac

Which syrups for you lattes are vegan?

All the syrups aside from anything with caramel and white mocha are dairy free!

    Can you bring dogs inside/outside?

    Yes

Are there wall outlets available for working with laptops?

    Yes

    Is there a bathroom accessible?

Yes. Ask the cashier to give you the key badge.

Do you allow dogs in the outdoor seating?

    Yes

I'm planning on studying here and wondering if there are any outlet cords?

Yes that have outlets near the far left side where it looks like bar seating. They do not have outlets attached to the tables

    Do they take Apple Pay?

    Yes

    Is WiFi available?

    Yes it is.

Are you open for indoor seating?

Yes we are open for indoor seating!

    Are your bathrooms open now?

Not yet! We are at the mercy of the building and waiting for the receptionist to be back. I’m so sorry

They also had several outlets for to charge devices if needed and delicious air conditioning. The baristas were very friendly and kind and the atmosphere felt very comfy and relaxing. I especially liked their very chill music playlist. I ordered: - iced matcha latte w oat milk and vanilla (barista recommended) - banana oatmeal with cinnamon, peanut butter and choco chips - plain bagel w cream cheese I really enjoyed the iced matcha, it is probably one of the better ones I have in OC. The matcha was super smooth and with the addition of the vanilla it created a sweet happy layer to it. I need to come back to try the other drinks! The banana oatmeal, while looking very tasty, didn't pass my satisfaction meter. The oatmeal in the bowl was cold and it was a thin layer of oats that laid on the bottom of the bowl. Presentation great, but for 9$, I would have wanted there to be at least 1-2 more scoops of oats in there to make it worth it. The plain bagel with cream cheese, I really enjoyed. The bagel was huge and it has a good toastiness to it. Additionally, the cream cheese was very light, not too rich and it helped make a delicious carb. Overall, I would definitely come back here to try other drinks and pastries from their menu! I also loved that the parking lot is easy to access and there are ample spots! Definitely try this spot, if you're in the area!

It's just because I don't know what it means to practice financial discernment when it comes to fresh bread. And welllllll, look at who's back at Brio Brio Bakery & Cafe again...... I used to come here way more often back when I had recurring appointments in the area, but these days I rarely ever find myself in South OC. Tonight, however, I had a last minute opportunity fall into my lap when I was invited off the wait list to attend a Yelp Elite event at Onyx Golf. Naturally, I had to make an "unnecessary" bakery detour before moseying my way over to the actual main event. Listen -- you have your priorities and I have mine. We listen and we don't (critically) judge! Upon arriving to my old stomping grounds, I immediately went for my usual: the hojicha Basque cheesecake. Some things don't need to be reinvented. It's still rich and creamy as ever, and it's basically the reason I still come back to this place. Since I don't get down here as often anymore, I figured I'd live life a little more frivolously and grab some items I haven't tried before, such as their prime beef curry, kurobuta miso sausage, honey toast, and a GF brownie. My plan for a sweet treat quickly evolved into a larger commitment of carbohydrates, but honestly, I'd like to think of these items as a gift from past me to future me. Brio Brio is also running a promo right now where you get a free cookie with purchase during certain hours. I just want to be fully transparent that I don't remember what those hours are or how long the promo is running, just that it's a weekday ordeal. I know, incredibly insufferable Yelp Elite reporting on my part. You'll simply just have to go in and ask them about it or look for the signage near the register, and then purchase that item you need to qualify for the deal to begin with. Consider my review a very detailed advertisement about a potentially complimentary cookie that idk how to explain the sourcing means for. Lmao, my bad, y'all. Either way, it was refreshing to visit again after all these years. If you're stopping by Brio Brio, you really need to get the hojicha Basque cheesecake. That's singlehandedly the menu item I'll keep coming back for, even when it means I'll be suffering in rush hour traffic on the drive back home.
