You know how you feel like when you're in love? Well that's exactly how I feel whenever I get a Blackberry Mountain Rock with the cheese cap haha it's so good! 10/10. Service was fast. The establishment is very cold especially fantastic for this hot July weather and the establishment is pristine. If I lived in Tustin you bet I would be there daily. I'm excited to go back and try new drinks in the future
Clean, bright, and classy interior! No music was playing when I went, so it was quiet. Seating is mostly seat pads for waiting, small talk, or grab n go - not a study or working space. Staff is friendly & greets upon entry. Ordering is done through one large tablet, and drinks came out surprisingly fast. Minor observation - there's so much glare on the screen during the day being directly across the windows, but not a dealbreaker. The menu mentions that hot teas make the wait time a bit longer cause they heat it'll up. Topping options are somewhat limited, but that's perfectly fine for me since I always choose aloe vera. They also offer soy and oat milk alternatives, though the menu notes that dairy provides the creamiest texture for their milk teas and encourages you to stick with dairy if you can have it. Mountain Rock Oolong Tea Latte is a solid option. The HNT Trinity Latte is an interesting option if you're indecisive. It combines three different teas into one drink, and I could definitely pick up both jasmine and oolong notes. Overall, a clean and efficient tea shop with friendly service and quality tea - will stop by again when I'm in the area!
Service was great and I was able to customize my order, however they only have oat or soy milk for any milk substitutions. I had the matcha jasmine tea, which mixed was delicious and refreshing. The matcha is combined with what looked like a foam, delicious. I asked for no sugar and ice. The ambience was very welcoming, very cute and simple inside but very inviting.
This yummy tea spot is definitely worth a try for people who appreciate tea quality and care more about it than toppings. Highly recommended over The Alley at Spectrum. Really appreciate their fruit tea selection since that's my go-to drink. They even put the quantity of fruit they use in each drink (e.g., 1 peach, 40 blackberries) Passion Peach tea is so good! It's excellent quality and made with real fruit. I recommend starting at 50% sugar if you like drinks to be less sweet, then work your way down from there. Blackberry Rock is also delicious and would be a hit for oolong lovers. Keep in mind they put around 40 blackberries inside so you'll be crunching lots of seeds (I wish they would remove about half the seeds). 50% is a little bitter to start with, so I recommend starting a step above. Also hope they'll use bigger ice cubes - the small aerated cubes melt too fast. Was really disappointed by their topping selection, It's really bold to only have 4 options, but as I mentioned, for those who don't care for toppings or get the classic boba each time you're fine. Service is fine. They're quick and focus more on making drinks than taking orders (plenty of iPads to order on, can flag them down if you need help/have questions and they're nice about it) and there's a fair amount of seating inside. Maybe not the best for studying due to lack of space, but okay for short and small social gatherings. Lack of topping options would be the reason HN Tea won't make it into my OC favorites, but I will return when I'm around Spectrum and craving tea without toppings.
Came here and ordered through the self-service kiosk, which made the process super easy. The space itself is very clean and aesthetic, and service was impressively quick. I also appreciated the portion sizes. The drinks come in big cups and feel worth the price. We ordered the Sesame Latte and the Mountain Rock Oolong Tea Latte. Plus, there's plenty of parking in the lot, which is always a bonus. That said, the drinks were a bit of a letdown. For the Sesame Latte, the green tea and black sesame combo didn't work well for me, though I could still distinctly taste the black sesame. The oolong tea was very light and ended up tasting watered down. Unfortunately, the boba was also disappointing. Too hard and not the chewy texture you'd expect. Great setup and efficiency, but the drinks didn't quite hit.
We came in on a Tuesday evening. There was no line inside and ordering was quick and easy on the screen. I ordered the Mountain Rock Oolong Tea Latte at 0% sugar with boba. Usually getting a tea at a boba shop at 0% sweetness means you can really taste the tea. However, the oolong flavor is barely present. I'm not sure if the drink is watered down from melted ice or too much soy milk was added, but I do wish the tea stood out more. The boba was the biggest disappointment. The center of the boba was hard, as if we had received boba that was sitting out for hours. Unfortunately probably some of the worst boba I've had.
This place is sooo good and super refreshing--perfect for hot weather when you need something to quench your thirst. The spot itself is really cute. It's a small boba tea shop with a simple, clean interior (which I actually love--it's not overly decorated or cluttered). It's a great little place to meet up with friends and just hang out. Service is quick and easy. You can order online for pickup or use their kiosk in-store. The staff is friendly and always greets you when you walk in, which makes the experience even better. Now the drinks... SO good. I got the passion fruit peach green tea, and my husband got the pineapple green tea. Both were super light, refreshing, and not overly sweet at all--which we really appreciated. Honestly, we finished them wishing we had ordered more. Safe to say I'll definitely be a regular here. Highly recommend giving this place a try--it's 100% worth it!!

If you're looking for tea/boba that is all natural with no dyes or flavored syrups, then this is the one lace for you! I was very impressed that this tea house offers healthy teas, versus the typical types with tons of fake flavoring! I love the decor, and was shocked to see it was completely empty! It is super aesthetically pleasing and looks like a great place to bring your laptop and work or study. I highly recommend HNTea!!
I honestly don't know how to even give this place a 0/5. We ordered 10 drinks on 5/29/2026, shortly after 12 noon, for our workplace celebration of our patient care excellence. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a happy celebration turned into a complete disappointment. Almost everyone complained about the drinks, and most of them ended up being dumped in the sink because they were simply not drinkable. To make matters worse, I tried calling the store at least 10 times that afternoon and could not get ahold of anyone. I even called the Tustin branch hoping to get another contact number, but it only directed me to an automated text link. The experience at the store itself was just as disappointing. On May 15 at 11 am, I personally went to get 4 drinks. The bathroom was extremely dirty, and the entrance glass door were covered in smudges and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages. We spent company money to celebrate our team's patient care excellence, and instead it turned into a disastrous experience. We are extremely disappointed and would like a complete refund.
Ordered the Mountain Oolong Milk Tea and the drink didn't quite land for me. The tea itself was on the lighter side, so I didn't get much of that strong tea flavor I enjoy. The boba was also a bit overcooked, which made the texture a bit mushier. I'm hoping it was just an off day, because the shop seems promising, but overall this visit fell a little short. Overall quick service and nice interior as well.
We were in this plaza for food so stopped by this boba shop to grab a drink. The decor is modern and chic. The drinks were refreshing and boba was chewy. Staff was friendly and I ordered via the kiosk.
Stopped by to get a drink when we were getting food from another store in the same plaza. Got pineapple green tea with boba. The boba was tasty and chewy. I was able to customize the sweetness and ice level. The order was taken on the kiosk as the barista makes my order. The interior space was nicely decorated, but felt a bit stuffy because the airflow was not so good when we visited.
I liked my experience at HNTea! At their old location, the boba wasn't 100%, but something clicked when they moved to their new Alton location. You can actually taste the quality of the tea and the freshness of the berries. I tried the blackberry tea, which uses fresh blackberries and a simple syrup. The flavor was excellent, and the price was pretty reasonable for the quality. There are also more seating options at this location, and it feels more open. I was impressed, and I'm looking forward to my next visit! read more

Came in on a Sunday afternoon and there were customers in line just not the long lines you would expect on a hot summer day, which is a plus. I ordered the Boba Treasure, but made the mistake thinking it was the boba milk tea, common in other shops not realizing it was just milk no tea. That was disappointing that there didn't seem to be a boba milk tea option, only one where the boba is an add-on, but that's fine. Nonetheless, the milk drink was good, boba good consistency, shop clean with okay seating. Definitely, could use tables with chairs that face one another, hard to have a nice conversation when the chairs are all facing the counter or facing a wall, but that's also fine. Some other tea shops that are unjustifiably popular, such as Omomo in Tustin, have way more uncomfortable seating and this shop is vastly better than Omomo is every aspect. It's definitely impacted by the location as a lower traffic retail strip, but this made for plenty of parking, quiet place and quality service and drinks. Would be happy to return for another visit to try the teas. read more

This spot popped up in my reviews while I was in the area so I decided to stop in and grab a quick drink and honestly I was pretty disappointed. I ordered their coconut cloud matcha boba and it just was not good. The coconut water mixed with the matcha and cold foam was a really weird combo and the flavors just did not work together. It was trying to be sweet and bitter at the same time and the balance was completely off which made it hard to enjoy. Definitely not something I would ever order again and probably not a place I would return to. There was also no one there which already felt like a bit of a red flag especially during what should have been a busier time. To make it worse this drink was actually recommended to me as one of their favorites and I just did not see it at all. Not for me. read more

The Mountain Rock Tea Latte is my personal standout and one of their most popular drinks. Service is quick and efficient. The self-ordering tablet is a plus. Of all the boba places I've tried so far, I love that you can really taste the tea flavor in their drinks, because it tells me I'm not just drinking straight sugar. I got the Mountain Rock Tea Latte at 25% with no add-on's and it was still the right level of sweetness. Prices for the organic tea look on par with the other places, around $4-6 The employees behind the counter were very nice and greeted me when I came in. I ordered from a kiosk and my drink came out relatively quickly. The store is nice and clean and there's tables and stools to sit at inside. Overall, I was pretty impressed and will be back again to try all their other organic tea flavors. read more
Boba- 6/10 bobas were half good half ass. Half were super soft and the other half were hard asf in the middle. Which means there were probably two separate batches mixed into one. Not coming here again b/c of the boba. Drink- 10/10 mountain rock tea latte at 75% sweetness. I really liked this drink! Thankfully the girl recommended 75% sweetness not 100% bc that would've been too sweet. Service- 10/10 the girl who helped me had phenomenal customer service! Cost- 6/10 $6.94 in total with boba. While waiting for my lunch to be prepared at a location next-door, I popped into HNTea. It was my first time here and the order taker/cashier at the front was so nice and friendly. She gave me some good suggestions and then ultimately I ordered the pineapple jasmine tea. I like it a little less sweet and she was able to accommodate that. Very cute and relaxing interior with some seating.The drink was perfectly made with the right amount of ice, sweetness and crushed pineapple along with the jasmine tea blend. I think the cups are also very cute and aesthetic. I would definitely come back and try some other drinks. There's a parking lot out front, although it can get very busy, especially during the high peak time like early in the morning and lunchtime with all the tech and business office buildings. read more

I got one of their popular drinks - jasmine green tea latte with boba 50% sweet. Pros: Easy parking. I went on a weekday afternoon, and the parking lot in this plaza was hassle-free. I loved the ambiance, and there was a good amount of seating inside (probably not a place I would study/ work at tho). The tea itself was light and floral, and it was just the right sweetness for me. Service was also great. Everyone was friendly and welcoming right when I walked in. Cons: This might have been my mistake of ordering boba, but I found the boba a bit too tough just as others have said. While the tea itself was good, the boba was just a huge miss for me. I'll still be back to try their other drinks (maybe without boba this time)! read more
First time trying HNTea. The girl working was a total sweetheart. Ordered the milk tea. The flavor of the tea is good and the boba has a nice chew. Could have used a little more sweetness as the sweetness level was a bit bland and even after asking for some additional syrup on the side it didn't really help. HNTea Organic Tea House is a modern tea spot in a plaza with other stores. The parking lot is a good size and it is easy to find parking. Came here on a weeknight with some friends to hang out. We were greeted upon entering and it was not busy. There are a few tables I side and it is very quiet, making it a good place to work or have conversations with friends. I ordered the ManCoco Yellow Treasure with 50% sugar and whipped cream. The drink came out quickly. It was well-balanced and not too sweet. Really enjoyed the mango and coconut flavors. It also came with crystal boba which was good. Overall, giving HNTea Organic Tea House a 4/5. Service is good. The place is clean and quiet which is good for hanging out. It is on the pricier side for the size of the drinks, but the ingredients seem to be high quality. Recommend to anyone looking for a good tea and boba spot. read more
I believe I have been to a different HNTea before and this is a newer location. There's a little bit of a seating area but this place is more dedicated for take away drinks instead of being seated inside. They have a good selection of organic teas and variety as well. I'm always a fan of milk teas or lattes in this case so I had ordered a Golden Black Tea Latte and a Premium Matcha Soy Latte. I had also added the agar boba for the black tea latte for texture. The teas were both very good. Just make sure to shake well before popping the straw in so you really get to enjoy all the flavors. read more
Love the clean and pretty interiors and large menu offerings at HNTea! Tried the Passion Peach Green Tea and it was very refreshing and a great afternoon pick me up. Boba had nice flavor too but was a tad chewy for my tastes. Still enjoyed the drink though! Service was prompt and friendly... Will definitely come back when I visit the plaza! read more

Cute little place, little seating area inside and kiosks are available for ordering. The matcha was good however, ordering 100% sweeter was a mistake on my part, I'd recommend 75% and it would be the perfect drink. The HN Tea was good as well, but not too keen on the agar boba. HNTea Organic Tea House is serving up some Healthy and Natural teas! They have two locations in Irvine and are well known for their organic loose leaf teas. This location is located in a smaller plaza with other food businesses. The parking lot is on the smaller side but there are a good amount of spots. Inside, they have a gorgeous modern interior that's very minimalistic and earthy. They have two machines for ordering and a couple of long tables for seating. For their menu, they have a variety of options of seasonal fruit teas, lattes, coffees, and cheese cap drinks. Wifey and I got the mountain rock tea latte and the berries mountain rock tea. Both drinks were very refreshing and we could taste the quality of the teas. Overall, we enjoyed the drinks we got and could taste the healthy and natural flavors. The staff here are very friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back to try some of their other menu items! read more
Decent tea, very good service, probably won't come back since there are plenty of good options in the area. Mountain rock tea with cheese cap: very sweet even when I got 50% sugar. I could have definitely gone down to 25%. I typically get 50% at most boba places. Boba was fine. Because you have to drink with a straw you don't get the full cheese cap (foam) taste. This was my first time trying this boba place, and I really enjoyed the drinks here. There's a self-service kiosk at the front where you can order your drinks and customize the sweetness and ice levels. It's very spacious inside, and there are a lot of tables with outlets nearby, making it a very cozy study spot. I ordered the premium matcha soy latte with 75% sweetness. They use high quality matcha and you can definitely taste it in the drink. The matcha flavor wasn't too strong like at other places I've been to. There also wasn't any unmixed matcha powder at the bottom which is a common problem I have with matcha-based drinks. The strawberry jasmine green tea tasted very fresh. It was obvious that real strawberries were used instead of strawberry syrup since there was no artificial taste. The boba texture was also perfectly chewy, and the honey added some extra sweetness to the drink. Overall, I would try this place again. The drinks tasted great and I really liked the interior. Unfortunately, the location is a bit inconvenient. It's located right next to a busy road so it's difficult to get in and out of the parking lot. Other than that, I think this is a great boba spot to try if you're looking for drinks with fresh ingredients! read more
