I've come here many times over the years. It's one of my favorite coffee spots in orange county. I stopped by while doing something.church stuff early in the morning on July 4th. Interior is clean and staff was friendly and professional. Restrooms are always clean. Good choices of teas and coffee and also some food options available all day. Plenty of patio seating shared with several other businesses and also parking is available shared with other businesses. However, it is sometimes difficult to find parking if the other businesses are busy. Highly recommend this spot.

Great favorable strong Turkish coffee that shakes you up. It's good to have a jolt when we stumbled into it early in the morning. Coffee lovers come and go for their morning refresher to last a day or few hours. Interest aroma and strong coffee wakes up my senses and palates. Pastry is good as well.

Nothing like a coffee order on Christmas Day! Nice barista was patient while I decided what to get. I love the cozy wooden accents everywhere as well as the coffee grinder in store. No charge ports so come charged! There's also a little living room couch to wait while they brew :)

Kean coffee is so cute!!!! Met here with some cohort mates to get work done, and everyone was so incredibly friendly. I'm really impressed with the staff. The Turkish latte was also really good! One con: I didn't see any outlets, but I also didn't check the whole store.

Amazing as always! White chocolate mocha with oat milk and a white chocolate mocha with raspberry infused- tastes like a delicious warm treat! Service was quick, helpful and ambiance as quiet and calm. I never regret a stop for coffee here.

We stopped by Kean Coffee in Tustin and had a great experience--the staff was friendly and service was quick, and the affogato was excellent with smooth, rich espresso over creamy ice cream that wasn't too sweet; simple, high-quality, and I'll definitely be back.

    Almond Croissant

Saturday Morning, the place was packed and most tables were filled. It gave me Starbucks vibes from about 15-20 years ago. Ordered the almond croissant and grasshopper. Grass hopper was a mint and vanilla combo. This ended up being an odd combination where the mint and vanilla were slight but muted. Overall it was interesting, but it wasn't something I would ordered again. The almond croissant was a run of the mill almond croissant, for 5 bucks you can probably find other options. Overall vibe, possibly visit again when I'm in the area for a regular cup of coffee.

If you are in the mood for a strong coffee, this shop is wonderful. I come here when I really need a caffeine boost.

The coffee was flavorful and you get what you are expecting. Some coffee places describe a coffee and you don't taste their flavors which is disappointing. Mocha was undoubtedly mocha! My friend ordered a breakfast treat that said was delicious. It was a bit crowded even for a weekday but it's close to downtown so wasn't surprised. Service was quick.

Delicious options of sweet and savory.

This is one of our favorite coffee stops in Tustin and Irvine area. A convenient parking lot, clean restrooms, and plenty of seating are available at this location. The staff is very nice. They have a large drink menu and a great variety of baked goods. We ordered a drip coffee and a mocha on this visit. Sometimes the drips are better than others. Today's drip was my not our favorite, but it wasn't bad. The mocha was delicious.

Can we just stop and appreciate when you are at a loss of what to order and the staff can make a quality suggestion. I couldn't just order a latte or coffee, that's too basic for here. But I also couldn't decide and the barista after asking a few questions suggested their Turkish Latte with cardamom. First time for everything. It was DEVINE! The flavor of the coffee, oatmilk, and cardamom was earthy and the perfect temp. I was sad I had gone with a small.

I tried to buy this coffee there, they do not sell it to the public and did not know what beans were used.

Since there are quite a few espresso selections sold as beans, I was wondering if you can choose which roast gets used for your drink? Or is there just one that gets used for the drinks, and the rest are sold beans-only?

For our espresso drinks, we exclusively use our Golden Mean Espresso Blend, but for our brewed coffees we rotate among most of the single origin coffees we have currently roasting, as we really specialize in single origins. If you want to choose a… Read more

    Do you sell gift cards?

There is no WiFi service, so there are no extra outlets for laptop users. This coffee shop encourages non electronic communications amongst its patrons.

Are any of the gluten free baked goods also dairy free as well?

Our gluten free Chocolate Banana Bread is also vegan, so no dairy :)

Do they have nitro cold brew?

    Yes- on tap :)

Would the caffe mocha or Mayan mocha be vegan if ordered with non dairy milk, or is there something in the mix/syrup that prevents it from being vegan?

Our house made mocha sauce does not contain any dairy, so our Caffe Mocha with non dairy milk would be vegan, yes. The chocolate that we use for our Mayan Mocha may, however, contain dairy, so our Mayan Mocha may not be vegan. We will double check… Read more

Our server was very warm and helpful. For two of us we ordered one heavier dish and 3 on the lighter side and I actually left pretty stuffed. The menu is always evolving so I'd love to return, but for this visit we started with the bread and ham butter. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the ham butter imparted so much flavor. My favorite item that we ordered was the Galician Octopus. The thin slices were perfectly executed and the flavors underneath packed a punch. I would pass on the Gambas al Ajillo. While the shrimp were large, I found myself wishing that they had some char. The Summer Squash Salad was a perfect complement to the other dishes. I found the squash ribbons to be unique, the dressing to be light and fresh, and the inclusion of small bits of cheese to impart just the right amount of saltiness to the dish. Because we were celebrating my birthday, they gave us a complimentary slice of the basque cheesecake with a candle in it. Typically I'm not a big fan of this type of cheesecake, but theirs was wonderful and we ate the whole thing. I'm always appreciative when a restaurant does a little something extra for a special occasion. Extra props to our server because she noticed the gift that my friend brought for me and took it upon herself to inquire about the occasion and bring the dessert. It's those little touches that mean a lot.

Ambiance: Fat of…read morethe Land is exactly the kind of place you want for a date night--small, cozy, intimate, with dark wallpaper, velvet accents, and a warm atmosphere that makes you want to linger. Service: The service was excellent from start to finish, and you can tell a lot of thought went into the overall experience. Food: Must Order: The piquillo peppers. Without question, this was the standout of the night. They were stuffed with juicy Iberian pork, had just the right amount of heat from the peppers, and sat on a crisp fennel slaw with a tangy dressing that tied everything together beautifully. It was such a balanced dish that I was wiping every last bit of the dressing up with bread. The rest of the savory dishes all felt like they were about 75% of the way there. * Octopus: Cooked perfectly--not chewy at all--but it wasn't seasoned, so all of the flavor came from swiping it through the citrusy mojo vinaigrette underneath. I wanted the octopus itself to have more flavor. * Bread with ham butter: The bread was good, but the butter leaned more toward green onion than ham, and I wished it had a richer, more pronounced buttery, savory flavor. * Gambas al ajillo: The shrimp were well cooked and nice and large, but I was hoping for that classic punch of garlic. Instead, the oil tasted mostly like oil with a little heat, and the shrimp flavor dominated. I wanted the garlic to completely infuse the oil--or honestly, just cover the shrimp in minced garlic. It needed a bigger garlic payoff. Dessert: The Basque cheesecake was phenomenal. If bread pudding and cheesecake had a baby, this would be it. We ordered a double espresso and started dipping each bite of cheesecake into it, which was the perfect ending to the meal. Pro tip: do this. It was so good. Overall: While the atmosphere, service, and a couple of dishes were fantastic, I'd probably only come back for the piquillo peppers and the Basque cheesecake. The savory dishes all felt incredibly close to being amazing--they just needed a little more seasoning and refinement to go from promising to truly memorable.

The menu looked incredibly tempting, and the vibe was giving Long Beach hipster... in the best way. I was immediately into it. Before we even get to the food, let's talk about the drinks because they completely stole the show. The Berry Bloom Shrub Soda was bright, refreshing, and unlike anything I'd had before. The Horchata Signature Kyoto Iced Latte was absolutely phenomenal. If you've never had Kyoto-style coffee, it's a slow-drip cold brew that's brewed one drop at a time over many hours instead of being steeped all at once. The result is an incredibly smooth, naturally sweet coffee with almost no bitterness. Combined with their house-made horchata, it was easily one of the best coffee drinks I've had. I later grabbed a Black Strap Molasses Latte to go, and that was just as impressive. For brunch we ordered the Steak & Eggs, French Omelette, and Hokkaido Milk Bread French Toast. Every plate that came out looked like it belonged in a magazine. The Steak & Eggs was ok. Since it's flank steak, a couple of bites had some inedible gristle, but the chimichurri was bright and flavorful, and I'm so glad I substituted the crispy house potatoes over fries... they were great and fried to perfection. The French Omelette was good. I was excited for the caviar, but the flavor was mostly overshadowed by the aged cheddar. The real surprise was the toast points. They were unbelievable!! Somehow like the buttery layers of a croissant transformed into perfectly toasted bread. I could've eaten an entire basket of those alone. The Hokkaido Milk Bread French Toast was delicious as well. It leaned a little sweeter than I personally prefer, but the milk bread gave it an incredibly soft, rich texture that made it hard to stop eating. The staff was exceptional. I can stress enough how grateful I was for friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful staff throughout our meal. My only disappointment came after I got home. I impulse-purchased a jar of their orange marmalade because I couldn't wait to spread it on a warm croissant. Unfortunately, the lid was covered in rust, and the jar wasn't sealed. I'm not familiar with the canning process or safety requirements, so I wasn't comfortable taking the risk and ended up throwing it away. That was a real letdown. Even with that hiccup, I'd come back to try some other items on the menu. The Kyoto-style lattes and Berry Bloom Shrub Soda alone are worth the trip, and next time I'll probably explore more of the menu. Spending over $100 for brunch set my expectations pretty high, but the drinks, atmosphere, and service definitely made this a memorable stop. If anything, I'd just skip the packaged marmalade next time and head straight for another Kyoto latte.
