Mehhh....got some burgers and needed to deluxe it to get lettuce and tomato ($1.50). Food took a little too long and the fries were cold. They must have plated the fries too soon. A Cheese Burger with unmelted cheese? Chili Burger with only a smattering of canned tasting chili? Service was attentive but the prices are a little too high just for a diner. Ambiance is a 50's-60's vibe with music from the 60's so that was ok. read more

Went here last Saturday, January 20, 2024 for a late breakfast. Had been wanting to try this place since it opened, and this was our first chance. We were barely greeted by the maitre d' who just dropped the menus onto a table, turned, and left us. No "Enjoy your meal" or any pleasantry. Not a big deal. We looked at the very ordinary menu and saw servers going to other tables with food, etc. Even saw a server carry food BACK to the kitchen. Did not get any attention, not even a "...be right with you..." The restaurant was not busy at all (around 10:30 am), so that was no excuse. After 10 minutes we decided to abort the mission, picked up our coats and left. There are many more better choices in the area. Very happy to have a nice diner run by nice people right nearby. Pancakes with bacon, sunflower seeds & other stuff were very good, and the breakfast cuban was also great. Ordered a latte and they asked me if I wanted it strong or not, which seldom happens. We will be back, just wish they were open a little later. Recommended. read more

Been there several times and they NEVER disappoint. You can order Breakfast lunch or dinner ANYTIME of day. The food is generous and our waitress was polite, cheerful and helpful with the menu. There were 5 of us. We had an order of mozzarella sticks with tasty sauce, 2 real meat turkey hot sandwiches with all the trimming, a generous hot roast beef sandwich also with all the trimmings, and an order of 8 medium pancakes and crispy bacon. Also, steak and eggs with great homestyle fries. Three drinks, a piece of homemade apple pie and a chocolate shake. Price was S116. (we took 2 doggy bags home) There 1950's décor is really impressive and a walk down memory lane, along with the videos! Plus we were eating with Elvis, James Dean, Marilyn and Bogart! I saw the reviews on here, and live close to the diner, so I decided to give it a try. I sat at the counter and was truly shocked at what I saw. The waitresses were just complaining about the kitchen staff and the host the whole time to each other right in front of customers and loud enough that on member of teh staff whow as taking a phone order had to ask them to walk away. The kitchen staff messed up multiple orders, either forgetting items and one order came back because they didn't fully cook the pancakes and they were still doughy. I watched a waiter cough into their hands and then pick up people's food with their bare hands without washing their hands or putting on gloves. The kitchen staff was seen wiping the sweat off their faces and then handling people's food barehanded. A customer finished eating and when the plates were cleared the staff member went to wipe it down and said "Ehh tht's good enough". Wait staff would get mad at the managers and the host for letting them know they got sat and one waitress said she refuses to help any of "those non English speaking people." That someone else had to take that order cause they couldn't understand "whatever language they speak." This place has an amazing decor and they need process management and employee relations consulting or maybe just better employees. I ended up just getting a coffee and then leaving. Glad I was made to wait and got to see all of this before I touched the food. read more

Best breakfast I had in a while so I am very pleased to have found this little gem. The breakfast wrap is sooo good, it's perfection in a wrap! The home made corn beef hash is amazing, best I've had in the area. Did not disappoint and will be back for more. read more

Wait was a little long , but once our waitress showed up she was excellent. Food was good too, price was fair. Only thing I didn't really like was having melted American cheese slices on my cheese fries, was hoping for nacho cheese. Otherwise everything was great. I'll be back! read more

Picked up the Greek Salad with grilled chicken for lunch today...Such a large portion and is DELICIOUS. Can't wait to go for breakfast!!!!

All to Go. A BLT with fries and a chicken noodle soup. Simple fare done very well and quickly. No club sandwich, a hearty amount of bacon and lettuce on two slices of well toasted bread with the sufficient amt of mayo. Hats off to the staff. Ps it includes pickles and coleslaw! read more

I try to give this diner multiple chances, but they disappoint every time. On one occasion, I received chicken noodle soup with my grilled cheese instead of the normal tomato soup. 2 days after that incident, I attempted to place an order at opening for pickup. However, I was told the chef was late and that she would not be taking any orders. The outside of the diner is far from inviting. On top of that, the staff is not so friendly. It's evident that whoever owns the diner does not know how to run it. There are better diners in the area that I will be taking my business to. read more

Been there before and all was good. We thought this would be a regular stop but this time was pretty bad.Our first burger,a month ago, was very tasty.Today, it looked like some kind of pale meat and not really good.It was nearly tasteless. And the bun was soggy. But also disturbing was the waitress didn't get much of our 5 orders correct.We had to ask for the trimmings that go with the meals and there was a constant mixup as to who got what. Not a big deal but still annoying.They are very nice people but we were disappointed. I'm leaving this feedback because we want to see them do well as a new business.Hope this might help and that they (unlike some other diners) do not cut corners on food quality. read more

First time trying the new local diner. Went for a late breakfast. I ordered an omelette w home fries and English muffin, omelette was overcooked , home fries and muffin solid. My sister ordered the french toast and it was very plain and disappointing. If ya can't nail breakfast you have work to do! Cool 50's motif and friendly waitress. Nice to have a diner on this side of town. I've had breakfast there twice and it was wonderful. Great to see a diner these days that still has a counter to sit at when you're alone. Very reasonable prices, and the workers seem glad to be there. The best things about it for me, it's not too fancy, and the prices are very reasonable. We had breakfast for two and it came to $32. That beats the heck out of $69 at that Tick Tock diner in Clifton. read more
