I was in the mood for Chinese and ordered from this restaurant. I called in my order of the shrimp and broccoli lunch special. When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. I walked into a clean, kept restaurant and was greeted by a very nice lady. She grabbed my food and I paid and left. When I ate, the food was very good and had a good portion for a lunch special. I had a really good experience.

Boneless spare ribs with pork fried rice. Covered general tso pork fried rice and hot sour soup. I ordered a lunch special.

I must say I've been looking for a good chinese food in the area and my friend recommended me this place and I must say 5. With this covid 19 is pick only at the moment my lunch meal was just $15. This will be my to go to!! I'm so happy I found my spot!

Red Bowl is my new favorite Chinese/Thai place to get delivered to my job. I have never dined in so this review is based solely on their delivery. Their lunch specials are great and their prices are really reasonable. Lunch specials are between $5-$7 and they all come with the option of pork fried rice, white rice or brown rice and wonton, egg drop or hot and sour soup. Their food is really fresh tasting. I have yet to try something I don't like. Their delivery is a bit slow but maybe because the trip from Wallington to Clifton is a bit far. They usually take about 30-45 minutes so they're not like your typical chinese delivery place that always comes in 15 minutes.

I like this place! I feel like it's a step up the regular Chinese food places. I had the general tso tofu with vegetables fried rice and it was really good. Lunch special, which is everyday not just Mon-fri. I ordered there and got my food in 10 min, no issues. Probably might be my new go to Chinese spot.

It was me and my friend and we were served by the owner, who was very attentive and friendly. He made sure our food came out great and also came by to make sure. I had the Thai basil chicken with jasmine rice. They ask you what level spicy you want and I did 4 which was perfect for me. We tried their spices and oh lord! Are they hot lol. Yummy though, they're made in house. We also had the chicken dumplings to share and they were good too. The sauce that comes with the dumplings is pretty tasty. They have Thai juices however I stayed away due to sugar but the owner suggested I do unsweetened ice tea with half lemonade. It was perfect not sweet at all. If you're looking for authentic Thai food near by, this is your place!!

Clifton can brag on a number of delicious Asian restaurants offering everything from traditional staples to contemporary fusion. Located on a busy Parker Avenue, I've been coming to Clifton Thai for years and stopped today for lunch. The vibe was welcoming and relaxed. It was a special treat to see both owners and their daughter after 2 years. Greeted by Tony of the husband/wife duo team, who takes the time to get to know the regular customers, I was seated immediately by the window. With the brisk temperatures, I started out with the chicken dumpling soup consommé, which consisted of a Clear Broth Soup, Cellophane Noodles, Scallions, and Napa. My main meal was Pad See-Ew with Tofu from their lunch menu with a soda. During my meal, the other owner, Jib (pronounced: yeep), dropped by with their 10-month-old daughter to catch up. The food has the perfect texture, which remains tastefully delicious and authentic using the freshest ingredients. The service was spot on and the price very reasonable. One can't go wrong here if you want to try good Thai food, which I continue to recommend.

Some of the best Thai in the area. The duck is delicious (I don't eat a ton, but I can normally finish the full order!). Drunken noodles and pad thai both fantastic. Service is also wonderful. The people are incredibly friendly and clearly love what they do. I can't stress enough how good Nimman is. We've eaten here around 5 times so far since they opened up!

The restaurant is tiny and immaculate. From the chairs to the plates to the artwork - everything fits perfectly together (although the "classic rock lite" coming from the speakers might shatter any illusion you had that you'd been transported right into the heart of Bangkok). The food was incredibly vibrant with just the right amount of spice/heat with some other magical components (that's missing from the other local Thai spots we've tried in the past) that had us savoring every bite. The Thai iced tea? Phenomenal and the perfect 'balancing act' while having a dish of spicy food. At first we complained that the portion-size was small but we'd left... stuffed. Our server (Andrew, I believe) as well as one of the cooks that came from the back? Absolutely lovely people that made our most recent visit all the more memorable. Street (metered) parking. Decent pricing. Without a doubt - worth a visit!

We started with the fried Spring Rolls, perfectly paired with a delicious and light sauce. Entrees were Masaman curry (w/chicken) and Pad Kee Mow. Both were excellent. Pad Kee Mow has this incredible Smokey flavor and was perfect vegetarian style. Meat would have distracted from the flavors. I have to comment on all the fun details in the decor; right down to the fun, Thai movie posters in the restroom, and even the little decorative tray they bring the bill on. All of it adds to the experience. Shout out to Alex, our waiter, who is very good at his job! If you find yourself in Montclair, don't miss this fun, little place.

We ordered the green curry and pad kee mao, and both were packed with flavor. The pad kee mao had that smoky wok-char flavor with perfectly chewy noodles and just the right level of spice. Also loved the fresh coconut water to cool everything down between bites. Big shoutout to Stephenie, who took amazing care of us throughout the meal. She was warm, attentive, and made the whole experience feel extra welcoming. Definitely a great vegetarian-friendly spot in Montclair if you're craving flavorful Thai comfort food.

We have an assortments of appetizers, the eggrolls, were pretty standardish, the chive pancake was less than good and shumai was hard, but the curry puffs were the bomb! The star of the meal was by far the red curry, I usually add to my comments not to americanize it (as in reduce the heat) but I didn't this time, and the level of heat and flavor was spot on! Withouth this dish my rating would have been a 4, as 4.5 is not an option. RUN DON'T WALK TO THIS SPOT, I'M SO SERIOUS…read more This is the best, most authentic Thai food I've eaten since my vacation to Thailand (Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Koh Samui) with my husband in 2024. I truly can't even name a favorite off the menu because everything I've tried here is elite lol Pad Thai, Massamon curry, pineapple fried rice, tom yum soup. Omg literally just get ANYTHING on the menu and it's gonna be a BANGER. Fast, efficient, and kind staff too. HIGHLY recommend!

I'm being generous with a 3 star rating for this place because some of the food is OK…read more I'll start with good - tom yum soup was decent, egg rolls were pretty good, red curry was OK, oad thai was OK. Not so good - curry puffs were tasteless, fried calamari were meh. Not good - duck salad had dry overcooked duck, green curry with beef was barely edible and had a funky sidekick flavor reminiscent of stale bucket water after the floors were mopped with beef that they threw in there, which was dry and super chewy. Water they serve is straight out of tap and I doubt it's even filtered as it had smell and taste that didn't have any hint of filtration. And a 20% automatic gratuity added to your bill for a group of 5 plus. Had to ask 1 waiter for a check 3 times. Got it finally after asking another waiter. First and last time for me in this establishment. Those posting 5 star reviews probably never had good Thai food. This place doesn't hold a candle to restaurants like Pimaan Thai or Wyckoff Thai. Lots of room here for improvement.
