I was in the mood for Chinese and ordered from this restaurant. I called in my order of the shrimp and broccoli lunch special. When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. I walked into a clean, kept restaurant and was greeted by a very nice lady. She grabbed my food and I paid and left. When I ate, the food was very good and had a good portion for a lunch special. I had a really good experience.

Boneless spare ribs with pork fried rice. Covered general tso pork fried rice and hot sour soup. I ordered a lunch special.

I must say I've been looking for a good chinese food in the area and my friend recommended me this place and I must say 5. With this covid 19 is pick only at the moment my lunch meal was just $15. This will be my to go to!! I'm so happy I found my spot!

Red Bowl is my new favorite Chinese/Thai place to get delivered to my job. I have never dined in so this review is based solely on their delivery. Their lunch specials are great and their prices are really reasonable. Lunch specials are between $5-$7 and they all come with the option of pork fried rice, white rice or brown rice and wonton, egg drop or hot and sour soup. Their food is really fresh tasting. I have yet to try something I don't like. Their delivery is a bit slow but maybe because the trip from Wallington to Clifton is a bit far. They usually take about 30-45 minutes so they're not like your typical chinese delivery place that always comes in 15 minutes.

Mongolian beef was good except more vegetables then beef. Pork fried rice was super bland and the rice was hard. Eggroll was really good though. Also ordered the schezwan spicy peanut dumplings. The portion was huge except there was no dumplings, they were wontons. They were swimming in oil and had almost no filling. Definitely not what i wanted. On to the next.

It was me and my friend and we were served by the owner, who was very attentive and friendly. He made sure our food came out great and also came by to make sure. I had the Thai basil chicken with jasmine rice. They ask you what level spicy you want and I did 4 which was perfect for me. We tried their spices and oh lord! Are they hot lol. Yummy though, they're made in house. We also had the chicken dumplings to share and they were good too. The sauce that comes with the dumplings is pretty tasty. They have Thai juices however I stayed away due to sugar but the owner suggested I do unsweetened ice tea with half lemonade. It was perfect not sweet at all. If you're looking for authentic Thai food near by, this is your place!!

Them I kept telling him about my cashew allergy and he was like did you put it in the online order and I said yes but can you make sure he kept saying if your wrote to it's fine the cooks will see. That's not reassuring. Now as for the food. The pumpkin curry was good and the curry puffs were good. The fried chicken dumplings were super flat with no filling. Complete waste of money. The drunken noodles Barry had any noodles and were oily with no flavor. Probably won't be back here. Fried Thai Chicken Dumpling 2/10 terrible no fillings -Drunken Noodles 3/10. Not a lot of noodles and no flavor -Thai Pumpkin Curry 8/10 this was good -curry Puffs 9/10. These were also very good

My husband and I are huge fans of the crispy curry chicken with coconut rice. It has such great flavor. We also love the garlic chicken wings. I know, garlic typically is very potent, however, they make a nice sauce that makes it less overwhelming. I love this place! Ps- if you like spice, like really hot source, ask for their spicy chilli sauce. It's VERY hot!

The restaurant is tiny and immaculate. From the chairs to the plates to the artwork - everything fits perfectly together (although the "classic rock lite" coming from the speakers might shatter any illusion you had that you'd been transported right into the heart of Bangkok). The food was incredibly vibrant with just the right amount of spice/heat with some other magical components (that's missing from the other local Thai spots we've tried in the past) that had us savoring every bite. The Thai iced tea? Phenomenal and the perfect 'balancing act' while having a dish of spicy food. At first we complained that the portion-size was small but we'd left... stuffed. Our server (Andrew, I believe) as well as one of the cooks that came from the back? Absolutely lovely people that made our most recent visit all the more memorable. Street (metered) parking. Decent pricing. Without a doubt - worth a visit!

We started with the fried Spring Rolls, perfectly paired with a delicious and light sauce. Entrees were Masaman curry (w/chicken) and Pad Kee Mow. Both were excellent. Pad Kee Mow has this incredible Smokey flavor and was perfect vegetarian style. Meat would have distracted from the flavors. I have to comment on all the fun details in the decor; right down to the fun, Thai movie posters in the restroom, and even the little decorative tray they bring the bill on. All of it adds to the experience. Shout out to Alex, our waiter, who is very good at his job! If you find yourself in Montclair, don't miss this fun, little place.

We ordered the green curry and pad kee mao, and both were packed with flavor. The green curry was rich, creamy, and comforting with fresh vegetables and tofu soaking up all that coconut curry goodness. The pad kee mao had that smoky wok-char flavor with perfectly chewy noodles and just the right level of spice. Also loved the fresh coconut water to cool everything down between bites. Big shoutout to Stephenie, who took amazing care of us throughout the meal. She was warm, attentive, and made the whole experience feel extra welcoming. Definitely a great vegetarian-friendly spot in Montclair if you're craving flavorful Thai comfort food.
